My Idle Gaming System Chapter 31

Academy City was wrapped with a cloud of dangerous and depressive air as it didn't seem the same, many figures that weren't normally here stepping into the City after the shocking events.

Noah moved in the night without paying attention to this as after he finished reducing his Clear Time with the Dimensional Rifts, his figure disappeared from the streets of the City as he entered the Tower of Champions!

His figure was carried away by a spatial light silently as he appeared in the waiting area once more, calling forth his four Units as a Yeti, Minotaur, Earth Golem, and Golden Sunflower appeared grandly.

His eyes honed in on the 11th floor as at this moment...he wanted to farm!

He felt the need to rapidly increase his strength as he wanted to collect more Unit Upgrade Crystals to be able to fuse another Bronze Unit, and even clear the Tower until the 20th level that would give him the last 25 Bronze Rank Unit Shards that he needed to summon a Bronze Unit!

"Let's go!"

His eyes shone with an intense light as he delved into the 11th floor right away.

This time around, there were no more undead for him to face as he appeared in a scorchingly hot desert environment, his ears picking up the clicking sounds of a dangerous Beast nearby as the summoned units surrounded him.

HISS!

The horrible sound was heard first as a second later, an enormous Snake towering 6 meters in diameter rose from the sand below them!

Its power boasted Peak IRON as it had the strength of a Rift Boss, but Noah was prepared as his face remained cold while commanding his Units.

ROAAAR!

The Yeti led the charge as the Minotaur was close behind, Noah beginning to clear the floor that actually consisted of 20 mobs that were all Rift Bosses at the Iron Rank!

His own strength being at Bronze allowed him to combat these Rift Bosses without his life being threatened, using this time to better hone his battle instincts as the 11th floor was very quickly cleared.

[Rewards for clearing the 11th Floor] :: [+1000 Iron Rank Equipment Upgrade Crystals], [+1000 Iron Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals], [+50 Random Iron Rank Unit Shards], [+1000 Iron Rank Cores], [+5 Bronze Rank Cores] , [+1 Random Bronze Equipment].

The wondrous rewards that were twice as much as the earlier floors showed themselves, along with the addition of a Random Bronze Equipment and 5 Bronze Cores for all normal levels he cleared after this!

The one thousand Iron Rank Upgrade Crystals were even more enticing in his eyes as after clearing the next few floors, he would have enough to fully enhance 2 Units and fuse them to obtain another Bronze one!

With rejuvenated vigor, Noah was teleported away from the 11th floor as he chose to enter the twelfth right after, intent on clearing as many floors as he could in today's session as he vastly improved his power.

Desert-type monsters like Snakes, Scorpions, and huge Worms appeared on the 12th through 14th floor, each time a varying amount of them as each were Rift Bosses.

Noah spent a few hours going through the vast desert stages as he searched for the Dimensional Beasts, his body feeling the sense of tiredness as he adamantly continued.

After the 14th floor, the rewards had stacked up to such an extent that he had 200 Random Iron Rank Unit Shards along with enough Unit Upgrade Crystals to fully raise 2 Units when he put into account the reserves he already had from his Idle Rewards!

This meant that he could upgrade and fuse two from the Minotaur, Earth Golem, or the Sunflower.

Before this decision was made, he used the 200 Random Iron Rank Unit Shards to see what units would come out, and if their fusions would be more aligned with the units he currently had.

SHAA!

Two sources of light flashed as the Unit Shards were combined, two boxes icons appearing in Noah's inventory as he looked at their details.

[Light Wisp] :: A creature of the rare Light element that illuminates brightly. It is proficient in the abilities of [Strength Enhancement] and [Healing Aura].

[Desert Scorpion] :: A creature that lives in the depths of the desert. It is proficient in the abilities of [Poison Strike] and [Quick Burst].

Two equally unique Iron Units were available for him to use, and he could only call one out as he had a cap of 5 Units he could use at once!

As he looked at these two units and the ones currently on the field...his eyes shone as he saw two suitable combinations!

One was to fuse the Minotaur and Desert Scorpion for a deadly offensive Unit, and the other was to fuse the Golden Sunflower and Light Wisp for the ultimate support unit.

Each of the combinations had its points, but as he looked at the remaining floors he wanted to climb...he chose to first get the fusion that would produce an Offensive Unit to join the Greenplains Yeti to utterly crush the enemies they would face!

The Light Wisp and Sunflower could be summoned and active for now as they stayed in the back to provide support until he gained enough Crystals to upgrade them.

"Let's do it!"

The path was decided, so he went ahead to finish it. The Desert Scorpion was summoned first as a creature similar to the ones he had been fighting in the past floors appeared.

The Upgrade Crystals were then pumped into the Minotaur and Desert Scorpion as they achieved peak Iron Rank, a prompt soon coming up asking Noah to fuse as he agreed!

RUMBLE

A brilliant flash of light erupted out as the figures of Minotaur and Scorpion melded together, the product to come out being something deadly.

Noah looked forth in a stupor as the details of the beast popped up!

BRONZE [Fiery Chimera] :: A mixed creature that has the heads of a bull and a Scorpion, its deadly stinger being something that threatens everything in the same Rank. Its abilities include [Fatal Sting], [Armor Break], and [Poison Arrows].

A deadly creature that shone with malice appeared, Noah getting his hands on 2 Bronze Dimensional Beasts in a short period of time as his sight was on the wondrous Tower levels he wanted to clear!

As the slacking Transmigrator worked harder than ever since he came to in the new Realm, its inhabitants were now actively moving as the period of peace that many enjoyed for the last years...was shattered.

When the new day rose after the Assassination of the 5th Ethereal Princess, many found to their shock that it wasn't the swift hammer of justice from the Imperial Capital that came first, but the shocking declaration and advancement of forces of powerful Blessed from the Dark Continent!

This gave everyone a much clearer picture of who the culprit of the Assassination was, as well as tremendous fear for the future as the powerful reply from the Imperial Capital they had expected was not there!
