My Idle Gaming System Chapter 3

The Burning Domains Rift was one of the closest Rifts near the Blessed Academy, and it was one of the few Iron Rank Dimensional Rifts within Academy City.

Many of the new Blessed that were entering into the Power delved into Rifts like these for a year or two as they collected enough resources and upgraded their strength before they tried aiming for higher ranked Rifts.

As for the ranks themselves? They went from Iron to Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and the highest known Rank within the Ethereal Realm being Platinum.

The Burning Domains Rift was a fairly simple one that consisted of 3 floors, or three 'Domains' that those delving had to clear before they could be teleported out.

It was the go to Rift for all new Blessed as inside, they could slowly farm Iron Rank Cores and Equipment that dropped with a very low chance.

Noah followed his little sister's party out of the Blessed Academy as they moved just a a few miles into Academy City, their goal being something that many figures were going towards even at this moment.

The grand structures and buildings of Academy City reminded Noah of the structures of the Middle Ages with the cleanliness and pristine look of the richest places back in his Homeworld.

Everything seemed to be so cleverly designed and working in harmony that he was lost in its beauty while following the team in front of him.

Crowds of Blessed could be seen going towards a particular direction where Noah could begin to make the outline of an enormous gray glowing circular portal that was over 10 meters large.

Surrounding this portal, this Rift- was a distinct encampment that multiple Blessed Soldiers secured, checking the teams going into the Rift in time spans.

This was because those entering the portal within 1 minute of each other would all be grouped together and be sent to the same spatial area!

It was one of the mysteries of the Rift that was figured out a long time ago, along with the fact that many beings could enter it as they each found themselves in the same Burning Domains Rift with similar monsters that everyone else tearing would come across.

It was a fact that Noah marveled at as his sister's team was up next to enter after they waited for about half an hour.

"Brother, watch as we move through the Rift and be careful not to suddenly grow brave. As someone who is entering a Rift for the first time...you'll have to be very careful!"

Noah smiled as he saw the protective look of Annalise hidden behind her hard exterior, nodding as he followed behind.

Annalise's team went through one by one, Noah watching with shining eyes as their figures disappeared the moment they touched the glowing gray Rift in front of them.

Noah was the second last as Annalise nudged him from behind, breathing out calmly as his hand went towards the Rift...and he disappeared.

'I better not lose my second life too early in this damn Rift.'

His thoughts flowed out as he felt weightlessness for a second before he felt his feet touch the ground, his eyes opening wider as he found himself in an entirely new world!

Annalise appeared beside him soon after as her face was serious, moving up front to stand protectively in front of her brother as her teammates were also ready.

Red skies with billowing clouds could be seen above them, a scorched earth below that occasionally had bursts of flames erupting out.

There were crimson colored trees in the distance where they hear the rustling and howling of a few beasts the moment that they entered.

Noah let out a mystified breath as he entered into a Dimensional Rift for the first time, the environment really being something unique he never expected!

He breathed in the feeling of magic and wonder as at this moment, he truly felt he was in a grand fantasy!

ROAAR!

The roar of Dimensional Beasts could be heard in the distance as the tanks of Annalise's team got into position.

The Healer and three Damage dealers were behind the tanks that began moving forward like a sturdy wall, Annalise pulling out the bow strapped on her as she knocked an arrow that shimmered with blue ice.

"The Dimensional Beasts in the Burning Domains Rift aren't overly complicated, where each of the three domains will hold a variety of land Beasts of the fire element…"

Annalise began to loudly narrate as she expanded Noah's mind, the teammates glancing towards her with exasperated smiles as they saw the level of care she was giving to her brother.

"It is only the last domain where you will come across flying Dimensional Beasts, and even they aren't too dangerous if you have a long distance damage dealer."

"MOOO!"

The thickets of trees broke as the first Dimensional Beast appeared.

Curved horns by the side and letting out a huge moo...a Flaming Cow entered the scene as it charged towards them.

"HO!"

The tank to the right was the first to move as his thick shield glowed with light while he rushed to confront the Flaming Cow, the Beast being thrown into the air gloriously as Noah watched with an agape expression while his sister shot the arrow towards the Beast.

THUCK!

The arrow hit the mark on the head as beside it, two balls of sparkling ice also smashed into its head and ruptured its muscles!

MOOO!

It let out a loud bellow as when the Flaming Cow landed on the ground again, yet another arrow smashed into its disfigured head as it stopped moving entirely.

Noah gripped the Sword he was renting tighter as he breathed in and out, excitement flowing through his body as he looked at the fantastical and magical skills the Blessed in front of him had used...his heart eager to have something like that himself!

"Nice work everyone. The next Beast should be coming out soon!"

The lead tank shouted out while glancing towards Annalise with eyes that shone with intense light, the arrows of this genius girl simply being too powerful as they helped them take down a Dimensional Beast in seconds.

Yet when his eyes landed on the surprised older brother not too far from her…

'Ay…'

Disappointment overflowed as the party delved deeper into the Burning Domains Rift!
