My Idle Gaming System Chapter 262

"Champions of the Church of Darkness...our rulership will soon extend to cover the whole Cosmos under the leadership of the Unrivaled Dark Necromancer- under the banner of Pope Ezekiel!"

OOOOH!

In the grand hall of one of the central locations of the Church of Darkness, a line up of powerful beings were present as a number of Hegemonies stood in front of dozens of Paragons while looking towards 14 Antiquities situated in obsidian chairs.

13 of these Antiquities were looking towards the figure of a devilishly handsome young man in his early 20s, this being sitting among existences that had lived for hundreds old thousands or even millions of years as he smiled gently!

His hands rose in the air to gain everyone's attention as he spoke out mesmerizingly.

"My glory is the glory of the Church of Darkness!"

OOOOH!

Resonant bellows came from those listening ad they looked towards him with unbridled fervor.

"When we stand atop the bodies of the hypocrites from the Radiant Church and turn their own people into Undead that will turn against them...you all will share in this glory along with me!"

WAA!

Resonant yells and bellows echoed out as the meeting continued, nobody noticing the blue glint hidden within multiple of the Hegemonies attending this meeting today!

"When he Conqueror the lands of the Radiant Church and occupy this Cosmos...then we will begin our true Mandate and spread our power across the Ruination Sea! We will spread our glorious message across the myriad of Cosmos littering those crimson seas!.

OOOOH!

Subjugated Hegemonies and normal ones yelled out their agreement as the Antiquities holding ranks of Popes watched on with shining eyes.

The Subjugated Hegemonies allowed Noah to view everything happening with utter clarity as he gazed upon the being he had confirmed to be the rising Champion of this Reality.

Ezekiel!

Another name that chosen Champions had as this one was merely in the Antiquity stage, but even this was terrifying enough as even with all the power Noah had, he didn't move to attack directly as he planned to move silently!

To defeat a Champion, a being that could literally be considered the protagonist of a Story as they are given a ridiculous system and perks no others can even begin to imagine...one couldn't attack in a straightforward manner!

Noah had read about too many instances where low rate villains attacked the protagonist only to find them advancing another Realm during battle, getting a new weapon that turns the tables, or the power of friendship blooms as allies descend down from nowhere.

He knew that he had to move with care as even with the off chance that his abilities were more powerful than this Champion currently, there were still too many things he didn't know about him and his System.

He was a Necromancer that thrived on death, with the information Noah had collected on this so far being the Hegemonies watching in awe as in the Battlefields that Ezekiel passed through, the Hegemonies of Antiquities that had fallen would be filled with his dark essence that permeated throughout their bodies- causing them to rise as Undead Champions that were even more powerful than when they were alive!

His arsenal included all previously defeated powerhouses as with a wave of his hands, he could stand against multiple Antiquities alone as he commanded his Legion ls while situated on a throne of bones.

Against such a being...Noah had to continue moving with care. He was patient as his Subjugated Blessed sat through this meeting silently, collecting more information on those close to this Champion and also making the Antiquities he would begin to go after and dominate!

'Time is of no consequence...a few days or weeks is no matter as long as I can be successful!'

With such a thought, Noah continued moving behind the scenes as a few days passed.

In these days, his reach extended from Hegemonies to Antiquities as he gained the trust of Popes from their closest confidants and silently Subjugated them while utilizing [Mind Realm] and [Absolute Mental Isolation Field], Noah's reach silently extending into the core of the Church of Darkness.

The further his reach extended, the easier and more robust moves he could make as after one Antiquity fell under his control...it was even easier for the rest to do so!

This continued until Noah's consciousness silently became the backbone of the Church of Darkness, the Champion of this Reality facing an unknown enemy that was almost ready to act against him without even knowing such an enemy existed.

In a Universe in the borders of the Radiant Church.

Two armies were amassing on either half of this Universe as the gold robes representing the Cardinals and Popes of the Radiant Church could be seen leading the armies on one side, and the dark robes covering a few Popes could be seen on the other!

The essence of the law of light and the Dao of Destiny surrounded the Popes from the Radiant Church as they stood against a powerful evil, but even they felt their hearts waver when they saw the army of the enemy standing before them.

The numbers of the army of the Radiant Church totaled a few hundred million experts at this moment, while the ones they were facing...this number was ridiculously in the tens of billions!

It wasn't that the Church of Darkness filled with ranks with weak existences that couldn't contribute to the fight- it was that a majority of these tens of billions came from a single man!

Pope Ezekiel- the Unrivaled Dark Necromancer!

All of their brethren that had fallen in the past battles joined his Undead Legions, and Pope Ezekiel could shockingly call forth all of them with ease as his power terrified others.

Even though the Radiant Church had light and goodness on their side, they couldn't help but be afraid.

"Look at them squirming like little children...they know what is coming, and yet they still fight!"

A booming voice echoed out in the center of the ranks of the Church of Darkness, the figure of Pope Ezekiel speaking to two other Popes around him as they gazed at the advancing Undead Legions.

By his side, a female Pope smiled as one could see the eyes of Ezekiel drawn to this dazzling smile, her words ringing out calmly.

"Don't start boasting even before the battle has ended now, our little Pope."

Her words held a hint of teasing in them as Ezekiel wasn't angry, even seeming excited as he tried to not show it and gazed out towards the billions of Undead before them.

"You still call me that even after I've risen so much in power and influence?"

There was history between these two beings as Ezekiel had always been chasing Pope Isabella when he was still a Hegemony, and now he felt like this untouched Pope would soon get on his hands as he continued to show off his power!

Pope Isabella shook her head with a dazzling smile as she replied.

"Focus on the battle at hand Little Pope, maybe afterwards I'll accept your incessant calls for a dinner."

"Oh?" The eyes of Ezekiel rose with a maddened light for power and dominance as he laughed and nodded, his hand quaking forth as he seamlessly controlled the Legions of Undead to move forward.

By his side, the smiling Pope Isabella watched on calmly as deep in her eyes, a cerulean blue light shone dominantly as another soul was already pulling the reins of this being!
