The tides of time continued to ebb forward ever so slightly.

In a Primordial Cosmos within another Reality, Chronos enacted Universal Constructs capable of drawing in the essence of the Universes and souls of the natives of these nine Universes, strengthening the budding soul of an Antiquity to grow.

The more this soul grew, the more influence the Antiquity could release out as with sufficient time, even powerful abilities could be cast to affect these Universes these Constructs were in!

There were no challenges to hinder them as things went smoothly, Noah monitoring as his small soul grew stronger and stronger in the Boundary Between Realities as his Origin buzzed with excitement.

For him to get his hands on a Cosmic Treasure!

The 9 lines of connection leading to 9 different Universes where the Universal Constructs lay were getting ever stronger, where Noah felt like soon, he would be able to cast and other abilities unto these Universes that would allow his descent to happen even faster!

And soon enough, this chance actually came as events progressed enough for Chronos to do something drastic in the Primordial Cosmos.

In the Primordial Cosmos, a chase was currently taking place across the boundaries of many Universes as one of the Hegemonies that Chronos was working with after recruiting them with the common aim of achieving Antiquity- this Hegemony was leading away multiple other Hegemonies from the 9 Universes where Chronos established the Universal Constructs!

Events had progressed to the point where other powerful factions were questioning Chronos and those he had recruited, and they had even boiled over to the start of a war.

The Hegemony running away was an enormous cluster of dark Cosmic Essence as within his hands, the figure of a Tyrant Dragon could be seen locked within as this scene required its own story to explain.

But this chase involved this existence in the form of a Tyrannical Dragon at the root of the cause as the Hegemony locking him in place- the being known as Dark Shadow...he found out that this terrifying being that should in no way have known about the 9 Universal Constructs seemed to have too much knowledge about it!

So he moved with haste as he sent a message to Chronos and all the other Hegemonies he worked with.

"You all need to start the Process of Amalgamation now, information has leaked!"

WAA!

Chronos was among the first to hear this message, his location currently being in a vibrantly gold Realm as he was sipping a drink with his biggest enemy standing right before him.

The figure of a golden haired man that screamed power and virtue was before him as even though he was Chronos's biggest enemy, this being had yet to know this as Chronos moved in the dark to accomplish his plans.

'And now, we enter an unstoppable phase, Oathkeeeper…' Chronos had such a thought as he gave a command and sent a message to all his people.

"Carry of the Universal Amalgamation. Begin the process to fuse the seeds of Antiquity within the 9 Universal into one as within a short period of time...we will have the descent of the Great Usurper!"

His order was released as it was carried out.

From 9 Constructs that vibrated gloriously with the essence of the Universes of the Primordial Cosmos- Noah's portions of soul were contained within as they felt a process that granted him huge chunks of soul power begin!

BZZZT!

In the Boundary Between Realities, Noah saw the 9 lines he was connected to suddenly shine with powerful light and grow ever bigger, and influx of essence flowing into and strengthening his soul as many things suddenly became available for him to do at this juncture.

He felt his portions of souls having grown strong enough from a sudden reaction as whatever unique Constructs were established by Chronos, they had granted him enough power to leak out his own influence as at this moment, his descent was entirely set in stone.

All he had to do was way a week or two for the effects of the three skills he cast to affect the Universes his soul portions were in...and it would grant him more than enough power to succeed!

"You've outdone yourself, Chronos!"

Noah gave props to this creature as he felt his influence spread, his eyes set on the prize that was a Cosmic Treasure waiting for him.

WAA!

Chaos and mayhem spread out madly within the 9 Universes affected by Chronos and currently had the aura of an Antiquity permeating through them.

"Chronos!"

The boisterous yell of the being known as Oathkeeeper reverberated out as the cat was out of the bag, Chronos currently standing before Dark Shadow and aiding him in the chase as his body leaked the vibrant essence of Chronos- a huge purple clock permeating behind him grandly.

After this, all pretenses were down as a war would break out from the faction he raised and the faction this enemy of his had- but he would be the winner at the very end!

"What is it that you're planning, Chronos? What have you done with the 9 Universes?!"

His enemy bellowed out towards him, but it was of no consequence. He left behind some words before he and Dark Shadow disappeared, going back into the 9 Universes that they led Hegemonies out of- Universes that now were permeating with the Aura of the Great Usurper as they limited who could traverse around them!

Now, all Chronos had to do was wait.

Antiquity...was right before his eyes!

But as always...nothing ever went so smoothly.

"Hmm?" At a certain point in time, Noah felt changes in the rate his soul grew from the connections to the Universal Constructs, where eventually, some of these connections would even go to be destroyed!

It was a problem when he was so close to descending as if this occurred, he would lose his chance to fully descend into this wondrous Cosmos of this locked up Reality.

But it didn't take long before the soul of a certain being tried to appear before him again.

"Usurper…"

THRUM!

This time, there was a sense of weakness within its appearance as Noah saw the essence of Reincarnation this being was using fluctuating unstably.

"What a dangerous thing to do, Chronos." His rumbling voice came out calmly as he spoke of the near death state this being had to put himself in constantly to appear here at times like these- where a single slip meant his death and the disruption of their plans!

"Dangerous...but required. We are facing heavy interference from the Primordial Cosmos this time around, even though the impeccable aura of the oh so Great Usurper has already begun to permeate across 9 Universes."

For Noah, only a few minutes might have passed, but time had moved faster in the Primordial Cosmos as after Noah's aura leaked out from them beginning their process of Universal Amalgamation that would fuse the portions of Noah's souls from the 9 Constructs into one was actually being disrupted by an unknown enemy!

"The Tools of Descent are acting properly, with my descent only being a few weeks away. Though I did notice a reduction in the rate of accumulation...what's happened?"

Chronos looked into the cerulean blue eyes of the Antiquity before him as he replied calmly.

"An Apex Paragon has arisen from nowhere, his existence hitting us specifically by the fact that we cannot act against him due to the restriction we ourselves imposed for the proper establishment of Universal Amalgamation."

"This Paragon has been breaking apart the influence our Hegemonies have established in a matter of days as he conquers the Universes, to the point that even your released Aura cannot stop him!"

"If he continues without being stopped...the rate of accumulation will continue to reduce as nothing will be descending for months, the Universal Constructs breaking apart in a matter of time after that…"

'Hmmm?' Noah's eyes shone sharply as he heard this.

A suddenly powerful existence rising from nowhere as even someone powerful like Chronos and his forces were struggling against him? A Paragon crossing levels and even beating the influence of Hegemonies that had formed a Universe while he was only in the Galactic Filament Realm?

Such a thought instantly led him towards the idea of a Champion as his heart turned utterly cold in annoyance!

Had he possibly run across one here in this Cosmos as well?!
