My Idle Gaming System Chapter 25

Noah was relaxing in the green plains behind the Academy City as he had no idea that a few miles away, a group of hidden SILVER Rank Blessed had taken refuge in the Verdant Forest that the green plains of the Academy connected to.

A few of the hidden Blessed were moving covertly within the city as they tracked the location of a certain someone, following their moves closely as they observed their path for the day.

Information was continuously collected as they prepared to make a grand move.

The day passed like this as many beings moved with their own aims in the vibrant Academy City.

As the rays of the sun were about to be snuffed out with the blanket of the night coming, the long legs of a certain younger sister appeared next to her older brother.

Annalise had finished her Rift diving for the day as she thought of the slacker of the green plains, coming to sit beside him and rousing him up.

"What's my little sister up to now?"

Noah's voice rang out as he looked into the tired eyes of Annalise.

The girl was still working hard to dive into Rifts, and he was soon planning on concocting a made-up story as he showered her with an abundant amount of Iron Cores and Equipment to increase her strength.

He was planning on navigating his newfound rising strength to his family carefully as he wanted to step up to help them in any way he could.

"I just came to make sure you make it home, I didn't see you when I came back last night."

Annalise replied lightly as Noah found his absence when he was in the Tower of Champions last night was noticed.

He smiled as he rose up and reached out towards his little sister.

"Your brother was actually working hard last night. Come, I do want to be taken out today. Which restur"

BOOM!

Before Noah's words even finished the ground beneath them trembled as if a bomb had gone off!

The abrupt shift caused Noah's face to harden as he turned towards the direction of the explosion, his eyes going into the city where he saw a cluster of brilliant purple flames rising up.

"Come up."

He pulled Annalise up as they saw the bustle of movements in the Blessed Academy going towards the erupting flames somewhere in the city, many thoughts crossing his mind as he wondered what the hell had happened!

Annalise also had a pensive look as she looked at the scale of the flames, her voice ringing out slowly.

"That...is a skill from a Blessed!"

Her voice was pensive as Noah tightened his grip, not knowing whether to stay where they were or also rush into the city like all the other Blessed!

He thought of his parents that were somewhere deep in the city as well as he made up his mind. He was about to move when suddenly, he saw a flurry of activity rush towards them as three figures seemingly came from the skies and smashed down onto the green plains not too far away from them.

It felt like time was going in slow motion as Noah and Annalise made out the three appearing figures!

All three had their bodies glowing in a brilliant silver light, one being dressed in a black robe as his body was hidden, the other having on silver armor as she wielded a luminous sword to stop the advancement of the robed being!

The third figure...was someone Noah was familiar with as the Silver hair and blue eyes of the 5th Ethereal Princess were captured by him clearly!

BOOM!

The impact from the battle of a SILVER Ranks was horrid as they could feel the fluctuations from here, watching as the robed assailant exploded out with purple flames that smashed into the Guard of the Princess.

"Natasha!"

The Silver Ranked Guard's hand flew as her hair became tinged with blood, her gaze furious as she screamed put toward the princess.

"Please go, Princess! I'll hold him back as long as I can!"

Even though she had lost an arm, the guard planned to lay down her life to stop this shocking assailant that dared to actually aim for the 5th Ethereal Princess!

Did he not know her identity?!

BOOM!

Yet another explosion resounded out as the body of the guard called Natasha was pushed back, her face tout as she screamed towards the princess.

"Please!"

Fighting back tears, the 5th Ethereal Princess with a silver light before her figure began bounding towards the dark forest behind them!

In the city, her remaining Silver Guards were in a terrifying battle with powerful groups of Blessed that she didn't turn back there, bounding towards the hidden forest as she at least planned to hide until the Imperial Capital got word of what had taken place and sent in powerful Blessed.

The tears she was fighting back dripped down her face as she thought of the only guard she was close with and the death she might soon be facing.

The assailant was at Silver Rank just like her and her guards, but her untrained battle power would be ripped apart by him in seconds as the assailant seemed to be twice as powerful as even her guards while in the same Rank!

It was a dreadful situation as she ran, many thoughts coursing through her mind.

'Is this the test you wanted, my dear older brother?! Will my death finally help you achieve what you want?!'

Her heart was in pain as she made a beeline towards the dark forest!

Soon after this, news would begin to spread across the Academy City from the Blessed that had seen the streaks of powerful Silver Ranked Blessed move, as well as the shocking battle that continued in the City for quite some time until the local Silver Blessed joined in to push back the assailants.

The shocking news that reverberated out...was that the 5th Ethereal Princess had been attacked!

Someone was actually bold enough to attack the blood of the Ethereal Emperor, to defy the will of the Imperial City!
