My Idle Gaming System Chapter 172

Scenes of destruction and chaos were all that could be seen.

Noah watched coldly as one of his Nebula Rank Units rained down golden lightning and finished off the last Void Beast on the 100th Golden Altar, his mental essence barreling forward as he took the glimmering Dao Crystals at the very center.

The moment this occurred, a golden light flashed!

[The maximum number of clearable Golden Altars by a single trial taker has been reached.]

[Exemplary results far exceeding all past contestants, gained Tier 3 Golden Mark of the Usurper. Will be teleported into the Third Trial Grounds shortly.]

Noah saw the words in front of him and heard the voice in his mind as even this wondrous Legacy Dao Dimensional Rift seemed to not want him to take everything for himself!

His boons this time around were tremendous as he got his hands on many Grand Dao Crystals and obtained complete Comprehension in all 4.

When one glanced at his body, they would see it suffused with a glow of resplendent colors from multiple Dao Essences that one would normally only see from prized disciples from the Celestial Plane!

Noah himself looked at these showy colors as he nodded, recalling his Units as a flash of spatial light covered him and sent him away soon after.

A few seconds after he left, there was a rumbling from the fog one had to cross before they could even glance at the myriad of Golden Altars, a figure of a being popping through as even though one could see the tiredness in his eyes, this being had a proud expression as we walked out like a peacock!

He had his arms clasped around his back to look sagely as he stepped forward lightly, his pride only increasing when he thought he had arrived here first from the silence all around.

But when his awareness spread out to the circular rings that used to contain Void Beasts and glimmering Dao Crystals on top of Golden Altars…

His expression changed to one of utter shock as he saw the chaos and destruction before him, 100 Golden Altars entirely decimated as there were only a few hundred remaining far away from him!

It seemed like 25% of all the glimmering Golden Altars were cleared at this moment!

Such a scene was shocking as this Young Saint from one of the three strongest Conclaves in the Empyrean Plane knew someone other than him had arrived here a long time ago and did this, and they were already gone at this moment as they might have proceeded forward.

This disciple had no words as he could only take it in, but this was when the fog behind him roiled as more and more figures popped out.

When one arrived, so would the rest.

But this time, it wasn't just the Disciples of the Empyrean Conclaves that came out of the fog.

The resplendent Young Saints of the Celestial Plane had entered and made quick strides across the oppressive fog, these beings having obtained first hand information about the trials of this Legacy Dimensional Rift as they brought with them Dao Weapons capable of withstanding soul pressure and destroying illusions!

So when the most powerful Disciples of the Empyrean Conclaves stepped out, dozens of the newly sent beings from the Celestial Plane grandly made their way out as even they arrived...they could only also stare blankly at the scene before them.

WAA!

The body of all of the powerful Young Saints and Saintesses from the Celestial Plane were shaking as they recalled the words of the Hegemonies and Paragons for their purpose within this Rift today.

"Obtain as many Golden Altars as possible...but make sure that each of you only clear 1 so that many of you obtain the ticket to the next trial, that is the most important one!"

On the second trial, a bit over 400 Golden Altars existed as depending on how fast one came out of the fog, more than half of the contestants would be eliminated here.

Now that 100 of these Altars were gone…

RUMBLE!

The prideful Disciples from the Celestial Plane were filled with anger as they turned towards the beings from the Empyrean Conclaves that were observing the scene before them with stupor as well!

"Who...who did this?!"

Dao Essence spread out as a powerful Young Saint from the Celestial Plane bellowed out, but none of them had any answers as there was nobody to hold accountable!

The Disciples from the Celestial Plane observed this scene with sunken faces as a leading one among them stepped up while his aura began to blare out madly, his voice ringing out.

"From here on out...none of the disciples from the Empyrean Conclaves will be making any moves to advance within this Rift!"

"What?!"

"How can we..?!"

Bursts of anger rose from all around as the one that had spoken had his aura flare out even more as his voice rang out.

"If you still want your Conclaves to exist when you leave here, you will follow these words obediently."

Domineering!

Prideful!

Powerful!

This was the air that this Disciple and all other disciples from the Celestial Plane released, those from the Empyrean Conclaves actually finding themselves not being able to move forward.

Catherine was among the groups that had just broken through the fog as even she...only had an expression of anger and disgust as she didn't move!

Now that their chances to advance were taken away, their unwilling eyes traveled to the 100 cleared rings with golden Altars as they thought of what could have possibly happened before their arrival.

The hearts of all of them were in turmoil as they wondered- just which group of beings were so powerful to break out of the fog so early and even clear 100 Golden Altars before proceeding forward?

This question would go unanswered as the culprit of all this had already proceeded towards the third trial.

This trial...was one that caused Noah's blue eyes to take in a fantastical scene he had never even imagined.

His figure was teleported onto a small platform floating in space, and before his eyes where glimmering stars should have been...he saw a vast number of floating islands that stretched out across the horizon!
