One of the guest talk and ask.
"Papa, Mama is Mama and Aunt Rei not around?" a 2 years old little girl ask her parents.
"I don't know Lynel, but maybe there here.
Knowing your Aunt and Grandma who likes to stay at home rather than shopping, so they must here." Rei's brother replied to his daughter.
"You're right El, but maybe they're out since they do not know that we will be coming back today". his wife explained.
"Yeah, maybe Mama is right, Papa. Aunt Rei and Mama are not here." the little kid agrees with her mother whose also 2 years old same with Lynel.
"Let's try it again but I'm sure they're here, so stop being impatient Lynel and Ellyn. You too my dear wife, Lyn."
"Geez Papa we're not impatient and we're just excited to see Aunt Rei and Mama Grand for the first time after two years or we born." Lynel and Ellyn said it together.
"You...." Lyn stop because got interrupted by the dogs barking from inside the gate. Several minutes passed a 60+ old lady open the door and said.
"Rei, did you forget something?" taught that the one outside is Rei while the dog stop barking when they heard their owners voice.
"..." the couple fell silent of sudden because their mother is still healthy and lively when the couple left her in the care of her sister and sister in law Rei two years ago.
"....." meanwhile the two little girl fell silent also because they already meet their grandma and become speechless because they didn't know what they're going to speak first.
"I never taught thag they will be a time you will forget your keys, Rei."
"Grandma" the two kids called her in a loud voice then corrected knowing that they don't like Grandma "Mama Grand"
Rei's mother don't know if it's her son or daughter kids. "Wait..." then slowly walking and approaching the kids then realize who are they.
"So little girls, your must Ellyn and Lynel. right?"
"Yes Mama Grand we are Ellyn and Lynel."
"Oh, wait....." looking the two adults and ask "when did you arrive?" the realized they're still outside "Ah, come in first" then opening the gate.
"Thank you Ma, if you wonder when did we arrive? We just got back and plan to surprise both of you". El said while guide his family to get in.
"By the way Mama Grand, where's Aunt Rei?" Ellyn asked."
"By the the way, you are?" pretending to
be confuse even though she already know who is who because they always have a video chat every week but since it's their first time meeting personally she want to test them how they've been raise by their parents.
"I'm Ellyn Mama Grand the oldest twin while Lynel is the youngest one"
"Geez Sis Ellyn, we're the same age and we're twins so it's the same"
"Well, I'm the last one who got out, so you're the youngest. Ah, so mama grand where is my Aunt Rei?"
"Get inside first, all of you must be tired from your travel."
"Not at all Mama Grand." Twins replied
The family get inside and looking aroud at the house with an excitement expression and again the twins react at the same time.
"Woah, our home are really wonderful and nice Mama Grand."
"That's right, Mama" followed by Lyn
"Well Rei did the budgeting and everytime your family El and Mei family send a money to us, she will buy the important and necessary one then the excess will be deposited to our family account. She extended our house and add another rooms for your family, Mei and a guest room."
"Ha, ha as expected of my sister. I and Mei don't need to worry that Rei will running away with our money"
"So speaking of Sis Rei, where is she?" Lyn ask.
"Rei is still working at this time and since today is Saturday, so after lunch she will be back."
"Ah, so that's why Sis Rei is not around."
"Right. By the way Ellyn and Lynel, why the two of you become so quiet?"
"Because Mama Grand, since we can't disturb when adults are talking."
"Ah, you're right. Good, good, so the two of you we're really got raised well. By the way kids, how's the life in J Country."
"Nah, it's very nice Mama Grand but a little bit bored because Mama Grand, Aunt Rei and Aunt Mei family are not with us." Lynel said
"Oh, is that so?"
"Uh-uh, then then when Mama and Papa told us that we're going back I'm really, really excited because for the first time I will meet Mama Grand and Aunt Rei because Video Chatting was not enough but then Aunt Rei is not here, so sad and yet here am I excited to see Aunt Rei."
"She will be here after lunch."
"Really?"
"Of course, by the way why Ellyn is so quiet?"
"He, he Sis Ellyn is just shy even though she's not talkative like me, she will become more talkative if she's talking to a family members but I guess Sis Ellyn, just don't know what she's going to say, so she's been like that."
"Just like your Aunt Rei"
"Eh, Aunt Rei is like that?" ask by Ellyn and their Mama Grand nodded.
"So it's run from the family" Lynel commented
that cause everyone to laugh.
Aya, Rei's mother name realized that El and his family are bringing a big luggage so she asked in confuse "are you not planning to go back in J country?"
"We won't Ma, I and Lyn resigned from our work in J Country. Both of us received our separation fee so we plan to have a small business, Lyn will be the one managing while I'm going to work, I already applied and got accepted, so starting Monday I will work as an Electrical Engineering in C Electric Company."
"Good, good and what kind of small business?"
"Ah, that one I'm the who suggest it Ma and El approved, so I want to try and pursue my course as a chief cook, so we will open a restaurant."
"Is that so?" Both of them nodded "so, where do you plan to open one?"
"That, I'm going to ask Sis Rei because we've been away for 2 years, so I will ask Sis Rei where the least and most visited one."
"That's right, that's right."
"By the way Ma, it's almost 7 months since you and Rei separated from your previous work and you retired but how come until now we are not yet aware where Rei works?"
"That... So Rei didn't tell it to you even Mei is
also not aware where she work."
"Don't tell me....."
"No worries, Rei didn't work in underground business, she's in good hands and she didn't tell you about because..." got interrupted by the door bell.
"Ding, dong, ding, dong, ding, dong, ding"
"Eh, who is it? Maybe it's Rei and forgot something important" Aya wonder
"Aunt Rei? Really, yeepee" excited Lynel then running outside to see her Aunt.
"Wait...." Ellyn want to stop her but her sister didn't stop and continued running outside to see her Aunt.
