My Fairy Lord Chapter 19

The night was deep, with no moon, but a strong wind.

The mansion of Wu was totally immersed in the darkness, and maintained a sharp vigilance. Qingfu held her breath, taking a serious look at the outside. She was very focused to avoid missing any special clues.

Right at that moment, a white light passed quickly in front of her eyes. Sensing the familiar smell, she hurried to push the door open and ran out to chase the shadow.

As she guessed, the smell disappeared at the door of her patient. Qingfu smiled with a cold face, and then opened the door.

A man with a slim figure and purple lips and lowered eyes turned to look at her with a little panic. "Who are you?"

Qingfu twitched her lips. "You don't need to know who I am. Knowing that I am here to catch you is enough."

The man snorted. "Catch me? You are too naive."

Then he retreated and planned to possess the body of the daughter.

Qingfu didn't stop him, but instead, she slowly crossed her arms to watch this happen. In a minute, the monster rushed into the body. . .

However, he was bounced out immediately.

Qingfu laughed with humor. "Hhha. . . Now you know I have foresight."

That afternoon, when she was healing the daughter, she made an enchantment for the lady, to keep her from any spiritual force. And this really worked.

Blood spilled out from the lips. He fell to the ground, but stared at her with malice and hatred. "We both are spirits. Why do you come to bring me trouble?"

Qingfu bit her lips and her eyes turned complicated. "Though we are all spirits, you are evil."

"So we are different?" The monster laughed with sneer. "Good or evil, humans won't care. In their eyes, we are all monsters, those they fear and hate. You are silly to care about the difference."

Qingfu's hands clenched and her face paled. But she didn't say anything.

The monster saw she was touched by his words, and suddenly he leaped up to use his fingers to grab her face. He was so quick that Qingfu had no way to escape. Her breath tightened, and her face became paler.

Was this her fate? She had tried her best to become Tianhan's ride. But today, would she die here?
She closed her eyes to wait for the expected death. However, the pain didn't come to visit. She slowly opened the eyes. . .

Lord Tianhan was holding the monster's arm, which was about ten kilometers from her face.

What a narrow squeak of escape! Qingfu took a deep breath and patted her chest and hid behind Tianhan.

Lord Tianhan took a look at her without any expression. His hand tightened, and the monster's arm was broken and spattered blood.

"Ah. . . !" the monster yelled with bitterness, his eyes full of hatred.

"Thank you, Lord Tianhan." Qingfu felt a little embarrassment.

Tianhan didn't even bother to look at her as he spoke directly. "Mission failed."

Qingfu opened her eyes wider to argue. "But I got the jade plate." She took out the plate to waved it in front of his eyes.

Tianhan was shocked by her simplicity. Not knowing how to teach her, he grabbed her plate and turned away. "Now, you don't have the plate."

Qingfu's hand trembled in the air. You are a lord; can you be more shameless? she thought.

She was weaker than he, and . . . liked him . . . so, she'd take this herself.

The monster fell to the ground like mud. He couldn't move anymore. He only looked at the bed with expectation. QIngfu respected his fearlessness. He still wanted to possess this girl.

"How do we deal with him, Lord?" Qingfu asked.

Tianhan didn't take a look at the monster and he abruptly ordered, "End his life."

"Wait!"

A little voice came to them, though weak but steady.

Qingfu found this was coming from the daughter of Prince Wu. She opened her eyes to look at her. Qingfu was surprised, so she hurried to take care of her. "You are awake?"

"Thank you for saving me." The girl coughed. She tried to support her body.

Qingfu went to help her.

"Nothing at all. It is better to save a life than building a seven-win Buddha." QIngfu smiled.

The girl's eyes passed Qingfu to fix on the monster. Seeing the broken off  arm on the ground, her eyes turned aggrieved. "Is this yours?"
