Qingfu was so hungry that she almost fainted.

Though she was a little spirit, she had the human habit of eating three dinners everyday. When she was locked in the room for a day without having any food, she totally collapsed. Thinking about this many times, she finally begged Tianhan, "Lord Tianhan, may I submit a request?"

Tianhan turned back to look at her. "Say it."

"I . . ." Qingfu swallowed and spoke with shyness, saying, "I am so hungry. Could you buy me a steamed stuffed bun?"

Tianhan's lips twitched.

Seeing his back leaving, Qingfu had some hope now. At least she could eat a steamed stuffed bun after a while. She closed her eyes to sleep.

She was woken up by some noises. When she opened her eyes, she found the door was pushed open. The people who bound her had added some more ropes to make the restraints tighter. Then they held her up. Qingfu panicked and yelled, "Where are you taking me to?"

Nobody answered her.

Poor her. Tianhan was not by her side now. Qingfu felt she was so helpless.

When she was put down, she took a look around to find this was a side hall. The prince was sitting in the master chair, looking at her and thinking of something.

Qingfu tried to ask, "How about . . . you pay me some silver instead of the jade plate?"

. . . What a straight but idiot girl!

The prince's face turned dark and he said, "Tell me, who sent you to me?"

"Ah?" Qingfu had not prepared to answer this kind of question. "Who sent me?"

. . . For sure it was Lord Tianhan. But she wouldn't tell him this answer, so she kept silent.

The prince continued to inquire, asking, "What's your purpose of winning this jade plate? You have sent more than ten persons to me, only for this plate. Why?"

Qingfu twitched her lips. Had Tianhan sent someone else for this mission before?

The prince found her attitude was so stubborn, and he sighed. "Fine, you don't answer me. Take her away."

Qingfu was still reckoning what this sentence meant as the servants all came to take her.

"Kill her," the prince ordered with a cold expression.

Qingfu soon understood. She couldn't use her power, so she was like dead meat. She screamed, "Wait, wait, wait . . . ! I just want a jade plate. If you think the hairpin is not worthy, you can tell me. Or . . . I can give you some pills for healing and keeping longevity, okay? Besides saving my life, I can heal you if you get any illness. How about this?"

Qingfu didn't guess that her cursory offer would really work. The servants took her down. When she was still thinking about what was happening, the prince himself suddenly walked near and asked her, "You know how to heal disease?"

Qingfu nodded dumbly. Though she had no medical knowledge, she had many pills she had collected from the other elves. The pills for sure could heal mankind's illnesses.

The prince suddenly laughed aloud, and he lifted her up. "I am sorry about all my misdemeanors. Lady, please come take a seat. Someone make tea for the lady."

Qingfu felt so confused because this turn of events was so sharp.

The prince was still laughing. "My name is Wu Cisheng. What's your name, lady?"

"Call me Qingfu." Qingfu couldn't believe what she saw.

"Lady Qingfu, I am so sorry that I was rude to you. Please forgive me," Wu Cisheng said with a gentle smile, as if the incidence of catching her didn't happen.

Qingfu didn't understand this turn, but she still remember her mission. "So, can you give me the jade plate?"

The smile on Wu's face froze. But he didn't yell. Instead, he began to explain to her. "In fact, my daughter was sick for many years. Once, there was an immortal who passed and told me that if anyone came to ask for the jade plate, that one can save my daughter's life. So I waited here for a long time. But several days ago, some thieves took a fancy to this plate and wanted to rob us. So . . . I took you as part of them. I should apologize to you, lady."

Qingfu understood and she took a breath and patted her chest to ensure the prince.

"Then, let me apologize with this tea." Wu raised a cup of tea, and drank up.

Qingfu waved her hand and smiled. "Never mind. How about giving me that jade plate?"

Wu's smile twitched. "How . . . about we go take a look at my daughter?"

I see . . . it is a precondition. Qingfu nodded and followed him to enter the inner room.

When they arrived at the room, the door was open wide.

Wu's expression turned worse. He hurried to enter the room and roared, "Where comes this sensual boy?"
