Qingfu got up early the next morning. It was because she should take some time to visit Wuzui and ask about the issues of her function. When she arrived, Wuzui was still laying in the bed lazily. The sight of him sleeping was really attractive, but when he suddenly woke up and opened his eyes, the bastard came back.

Qingfu sat down on a chair.

Wuzui squinted and stood up to ask her, “Why are you here?”

Qingfu gave him a flattering smile. “I . . . I really have something to ask you.”

“Then speak!” Wuzui cast a sidelong glance at her.

Qingfu told him everything that had happened in the peach wood. “So, what are the functions of darkness and brightness?”

Wuzui was not like Tianhan; he seemed to have already known her function for a long time. But this could not be true. Maybe it was because he always cared for nothing except for himself.

Wuzui thought about this for several seconds, then he answered, “As you guess, darkness means evil and brightness means righteous. Brightness means the realm of heavens, and the darkness means the realm of evils. But the world of you fairy elf and human beings are between evil and righteous. You can choose evil or righteous according to your hearts. That’s why he thinks your function is dangerous.”

Qingfu nodded. “Then how can I know what function is me?”

“Later, you will find it yourself. And only you yourself can find it.” Wuzui shrugged. “Try to feel it with your heart.”

Qingfu nodded again. “So, I am in control, right?” She smiled with real joy. “I will choose brightness, thus I can be on the side of Lord Tianhan.”

Wuzui rolled his eyes at her.

Qingfu continued, saying, “But the realm of evil is already sealed for many years. How can I choose darkness? I can only be bright.”

Wuzui’s face suddenly turned worse. But he turned to give her his back, not allowing her to see his difference.

“Do you know how the realm of evil was sealed? I only know the result, compared to the process or reason. I am so curious. . .”

“They lost, so they were sealed.” Wuzui sighed. “Why not take a look at the outside? If you do this, you will not waste my time anymore.”

Qingfu looked out. The sun had already rose. She jumped up and said with a sad voice, “Bad! I am late.”

She ran out at high speed toward Tianhan’s palace.

Wuzui smiled at her back, then went back to his bed to have a nap. But he couldn’t find peace again. After turning his body in the bed for some time, he stood up and went out.

When Qingfu arrived, Tianhan was already standing beside the river, waiting for her. Qingfu bowed to apologize, with her breath still heavy. “Lord Tianhan, sorry that I am late—”

“Let’s begin.” Tianhan broke into her words. “We start with the basic skills. Can you change direction when flying with a burden now?”

“Eh . . . I think so.” Qingfu smiled awkwardly. She had taken the stones to practice for such a long time. Though she couldn’t turn in the right direction, she should let him know that she had made progress.

“Great! So turn back to your stone shape, and let me have a try.” Tianhan nodded.

Qingfu turned into the jade again, lying on the ground quietly. Tianhan lifted up his dress corner, preparing to sit on her back. In a second, somebody called at them.

“Wait a minute!”

Qingfu found Wuzui, who was in a red dress and holding a bottle of wine, was lazy but handsome and outstanding. He was walking toward them.

Tianhan frowned. “Why?”

“Let me be the training tool. Lord Tianhan, no need to waste your butt.”

Puph. . .

She knew his evil thoughts. He didn’t want his jade pillow to become someone else’s seat. But she was not sure if she wouldn’t throw Tianhan down. Wuzui was the best substitute.

Tianhan still wanted to say something.

Qingfu already accepted this proposal happily. “Fine, let’s begin.”

Wuzui lifted up his eyebrow, staring at Tianhan with a challenging expression. He sat on the jade heavily.

“Wuzui, why are you so heavy?!” Qingfu yelled.

Tianhan’s eyes turned cold when his sight passed to Wuzui.

Wuzui smiled jokingly.

Qingfu used all her effort to bring him up into the sky. Soon she heard the order from Tianhan, “Fly ahead, instead of lifting up.”

Qingfu clenched her teeth and used her final strength.

All of a sudden, both of them began to fall quickly.

Qingfu closed her eyes to welcome the moment of hitting the ground. But the pain didn’t come as she expected. She ran into an embrace with the familiar smell of peach blooming. She opened her eyes to find Tianhan’s face  so near, staring at her with innocence. “Get down.”

Qingfu blushed. She stepped out from his chest and lowered her head.

. . . She was taken by Tianhan, so where was Wuzui? Qingfu turned to look for him. Later she found him laying in a tree, with some dry branches and leaves in his hair and clothes. He was rearranging his appearance with embarrassment.

Qingfu laughed out loud.

Wuzui glared at her with fury. “You laugh at me? If not that I was in such a hurry to hold you, I won’t have fallen. . .”

Qingfu suddenly thought of the problem. She ceased all thoughts of making fun of Wuzui and turned back to look at Tianhan.

“So, you still can’t move freely, right?”

Qingfu nodded, biting her lip.

Tianhan continued. “Then, you practice moving today.” His eyes turned to Wuzui again. “Since this little brother would like to give a hand, you two can practice together.”

Wuzui and Qingfu both felt like they were being played by Tianhan.

Wuzui was so discontent. “Why do you call me little brother? Maybe I am older than you and you should call me big brother.”

Puph. . .

Qingfu couldn’t stop her laughing. But when she confronted Tianhan’s cold look, she lifted up her hand to swear. “Lord Tianhan, I will practice well. Don’t worry!”

“I hope so,” Tianhan said.

Under Tianhan’s supervision, and with a heavy Wuzui on back, Qingfu practiced so hard this day. After throwing Wuzui down for nearly twenty times, she learned to move freely. But only after a second Wuzui was thrown down again. It was already evening. Qingfu and Wuzui both fell to the ground without any strength.

Tianhan took a look at Wuzui and thanked him without any warmth. “I appreciate your help.”

Qingfu felt that Tianhan meant to do this, but she didn’t know why.

“So, today we take a rest. Let’s continue tomorrow.” Tianhan said to her.

Wuzui quickly opened his mouth and said, “Hey, Qingfu, I have some business to handle tomorrow. So I won’t be able to practice with you.”

Qingfu took his hands to beg, but she felt the coldness from Tianhan’s eyes, so she released his arms. But when she looked carefully at Tianhan, she found his gaze was not on her at all. Was this again her illusion? “Wuzui, what business is so important? How about your cleanliness? Won’t you care your pillow become someone else’s seat anymore?”

“As you like.” Wuzui was fleeing away. “I won’t sleep on you anymore.”

Seeing him disappear in such an awkward situation, Qingfu laughed. “This time I make it to defeat him." She turned to Tianhan and suggested, “Lord Tianhan, let’s get back.”

Tianhan nodded. After a while, he looked like he was thinking of something. “You once were his pillow?”

“Eh . . . yes, I was his jade tied to the waist. Later I was self-conscious. I was bullied by him and took the responsibility as his pillow for a long time. But when I grew up and realized it was not suitable, I didn’t take that responsibility anymore. Although . . . I am still weak tongued compared to his false reasoning.”

“I get it.” An expression that was hard to discern passed in Tianhan’s eyes.

Qingfu didn’t notice this and she continued to walk and bubble.
