My Fairy Lord Chapter 13

To her surprise, Tianhan didn’t say anything more. In stead, he made her steps lighter. When she was curious what he planned to do next, he suddenly hugged her.

Though she was still pretending to sleep, she blushed.

She hid her face in his chest to cover her red face.

God bless, he smelled so good, much better than any fragrance. She felt like she never wanted to wake up again.

Though she got some bumps in his embrace on the way back, it didn’t change her will of moving ahead.

But this road from his room to her room was too short.

When she was put down on the bed by him, she felt a loss.

From his voice, she didn’t find any special emotion. “Come to me at the river bank when you wake up.”

Then the sound of his steps disappeared.

Qingfu opened her eyes and touched her hot face.

Wow, he just held her and was so gentle to her.

She couldn’t stop the hard beating of her heart.

But . . . his last sentence seemed to hint. . . If she was asleep, how could she hear that?

So?

Qingfu’s face turned redder.

He knew she just played possum and was feigning sleep.

What a shame! Qingfu wanted to dig a pit and jump in. She never wanted to see him again.

When she saw the shadow standing along the riverside, her mood grew complicated.

On one side, she wanted to talk to him face to face. On the other side, she couldn’t forget the awkward situation.

As she was hesitating there, Tianhan suddenly turned back to look at her. His teasing smile was hard to find. “Wake up?”

Qingfu lowered her head and nodded.

“Take this back. You should memorize everything on it, since you will practice based on this manual. I will check your homework."

Several pieces of paper were thrown into her hand, full of content in very small font size. Qingfu was curious. “What’s this?”

“This is a plan I prepared for you specifically,” Tianhan answered. “I don’t know what the questions are from the Heavenly Emperor, so I can only train you in my way. Today let’s finish the first step.”

Qingfu looked at the manual in her hand. On the first page, the title was written as “Function Testing”.

She had heard of this testing once. In their world of little fairies, every one with actual capability had such testing. But as to the little fairies like her, they were not worthy of this testing. She smiled and asked, “Is this the testing of the five functions?”

Tianhan nodded. “Yes. Let me take you there right now.”

This was the first time that Qingfu went to a place belonging to the heavens beyond the training ground. But the way was covered by clouds and fog, so she didn’t see any of the beautiful scenes.

“Fairy Lord Tianhan, of what kind function do you think I am?”

Tianhan replied, “Stones often have the functions of gold. But it is not absolute.”

Qingfu nodded, and then she asked once more, “What’s your function, Fairy lord Tianhan?”

If she was right, the functions had a relationship of restraining each other. Knowing his function, she would have the function that could overcome him. What an interesting topic!

But the Fairy Lord didn’t give her the answer. He just stopped the dialogue here.

Qingfu sighed. Yes, for sure, he would not let other people learn his weakness.

But she had no bad intentions, so she just passed this question.
