My Bothersome Life 5 New School

It said: Exams for accumulating points are conducted one week from today.

I knew this would be bad news just by thinking of Luke's personality. I entered the classroom and found Luke already in his seat reviewing the notes from yesterday again. I forgot! Luke sat right beside me!

When class started, I immediately started paying attention to class (a old habit from my past life), and break time eventually came after ten hard hours.

As soon as class was over, I ran away from the classroom not knowing where I was going. I ended up at the courtyard by the time I was exhausted from running. I found a beautiful place in the courtyard perfect for sleeping that was full of soft grass and started to lay down and as my world soon turned black.

I woke up to find myself inside the classroom and saw that there was five minutes until break ended. That was strange, I knew I was in the courtyard when I fell asleep, I wondered how I was in the classroom again. On top of my desk there was a chocolate bar and a note.

The note said: I found you in the courtyard today. I hope this does not happen again. You know we have one week to study for the exam, so I will be increasing the study sessions by two hours. I was only going to increase it by one hour, but I changed my mind when Slivest found you in the courtyard sleeping. I gave you a chocolate bar to keep you awake for the next seventeen hours. Luke.

When class started, I was determined to run away and leave the school grounds once all the classes ended. As soon as all the remaining class ended, I ran out of the classroom towards to school entrance. However, Luke caught up to me soon after and dragged me into the library study room. I knew I couldn't win with a mere chocolate bar, but at least I tried!

Luke ended up increasing the study session for one more hour, meaning the study session lasted for 8 hours! I'm sorry Luke, I'll never try to escape again. So please let me go home.

This cycle repeated for the entire week until the day of the exam.

Day of the Exam

Please let me get a good mark on the exams, please grant me freedom. I started to curse the stupid god who placed me in this situation in the first place, as I opened the exam booklet to start the exam.

Once I finished the exam booklet and closed the huge exam of ten subjects, the booklet started to glow! On the front page, there were text written that was previously not there:

Mark: 80%, Points Given: 8000, Please go to the classroom to the right of the one you are in.

I went into the classroom to the right and then was led into a booth that looked like a photo booth from my previous life by the math teacher where I saw Luke already inside.

"Congratulations! With the accumulated points of 25 000, you have unlocked the SA class. From tomorrow and onwards please go to the entrance of this new building with this map!" Came from the speakers of the machine and took our pictures right afterwards.

Luke looked extremely happy, and exclaimed, "this is the highest level class for this grade!" Luke clasped onto my hands and started thanking me. I knew by how hard Luke worked for the past week, he would have entered this class ages ago if it weren't for me, so I smiled back at him.

The Next Day

I gave my mother the great news in the morning and my mother looked surprised and shocked. "I'm going to miss you Rika, but it's great that you managed to achieve what both your mother and father couldn't have done!" Mother said with tears streaming down her cheeks.

I wondered why my mother acted like that when we were going to see each other after school. I had an uneasy feeling that kept on piling up in my chest while my mother drove to this new address of the school building.

This school building was somehow bigger than the previous one. Plus, it had a smaller building that resembled a dormitory right beside it. Ahh. I think I know why my mom cried now. I had a hunch that I would be probably forced to live there for the next two years of my life.

I walked up to the entrance of the this new school building and stared down at Luke who was still walking up the stairs to where I was. It was weird seeing Luke grinning this much and he looked more adorable than ever. But, I quickly put that thought away as the teacher came out of the entrance of the building to greet us.

The teacher had pale blond hair with hazelnut coloured eyes with his albino features and wore a clean white suit. He smiled generously and said, "We don't usually get transfer students, so the current students will be excited to hear about you! I'm Christopher De Welmington and I will guide you around the school."

Luke and I entered the new school and this is when hell started or the so-called end of the world. This was a more hell-like depiction than my last school and I did not know that would be even humanly possible!
