Ru Shi turned to look at Qin Jieli who was standing behind her.

"Oh, it's Miss Qin. How may this Cinderella help you?"

Ru Shi smiled as she asked her.

She folded her arms as she stared at her.

If Qin Jieli thinks she can bully her than she's wrong she won't allow anyone to hurt her again.

Qin Jieli scanned Ru Shi from hair to toe.

"Well, I don't know who was kind enough to lend you her dress you look really good. But that will not change the fact that you're just a dirty gold digger."

Qin Jieli smirked as she said.

"Well, too bad your fiancé chose a dirty gold digger right tsk, tsk"

Ru Shi chuckled as she said.

"The almighty Miss Qin, bullying a poor gold digger because she is so stupid that she can't keep her man...."

Ru Shi trailed off as she looked straight into Qin Jieli's eyes.

"I don't know who you think you are but don't think I'm some little girl who will allow you to bully me. Do you understand?"

Ru Shi said as she stepped closer to Qin Jieli.

"It's your fault, you lost him. No one asked you to leave him. You had your opportunity and you missed it. So don't blame anyone for losing him. You made your bed, now sleep in it"

Ru Shi said

"No, it's your fault! If you hadn't come between us then he'd never leave me! He promised to love me forever, but why?!"

Qin Jieli shouted as she walked away from Ru Shi. She stood in front of the mirror as she speaks.

"I've loved him all my life. Because I was afraid he'll reject me, I loved him secretly until his sister died.

God knows how happy I was. I knew my chance had come to be close to him.

I waited for the right opportunity before I approached him. I became his emotional pillar after days of him shouting at me or throwing stuff at me.

I knew I couldn't give up. Once I did I'll lose him forever. I washed, cleaned and cooked for him. Because of him, I learnt all these things.

And finally, he noticed me and asked me to be his girlfriend. At first, I knew he didn't really like me and it was out of gratitude that he asked me out but that didn't stop me.

I worked hard day and night so he can fall for me and he did. Until I left."

Qin Jieli chuckled as she turned to look at Ru Shi

"Do you know why I left? I left so I could learn and help him with his company. I was afraid that if I called him I'll run back to him so I didn't. I had to look at our photos every night before I go to sleep. I had to use two years to finish the four-year course. From day one I've been thinking about him! Only him"

She smiled sadly

"So tell me. Should I give up? Should I let my sacrifices be in vain?

The only time I thought about myself I lost him why?"

Ru Shi stared at Qin Jieli and kept quiet. She knows how it feels to love someone and lose them but for someone as selfish as her, truly doesn't deserve Mu Chang.

"You know you could have just called him right? You should have told him. But no, you didn't. Being the selfish person you are. You decided to leave the guy who has loved you without saying anything. Did you think about how he'll feel? Did you think about him at all? And now you're playing the victim card."

"You...!"

Ru Shi interrupted her

"What? Did you think I'll get fooled by your victim act?"

Ru Shi chuckled

"Tsk, tsk you weren't expecting me to get touch by your story and leave him right? Unless he leaves me I'll never let go of him in this life. Don't think because of this fight you can separate us. Unless he allows it no one can come between us. Especially not you. I've been through so much in life. So now I'll fight for the one thing I want.

If he's not so stupid we'd be together now."

Qin Jieli clenched her fist

"And oh, he promised me to announce that you guys aren't together anymore. Judging from the fact that you guys aren't together at the gala may be the rumours has already started. You can only blame yourself for being stupid and selfish."

"You...!"

Qin Jieli raised her hand to slap Ru Shi. Ru Shi held her hand as she looked at her

"I told you, don't think I'm a weak little girl who you can bully. This should be your last warning.

Don't think about raising your hand on me again."

After she finished speaking she abruptly let go of Qin Jieli's hand.

Because she was unstable she stumbled and fell on her butt.

Ru Shi glanced at her disdainfully as she turned to leave the washroom

"Ru Shi!!"

Just as she reached the door she heard Qin Jieli calling her

She stopped but didn't turn

"Just know I always get what I want. I never lose. I'll definitely get Li Mu Chang back and I'll make sure you pay for this humiliation."

She chuckled as she said,

"Enjoy while it still lasts."

Ru Shi ignored her as she left the bathroom. The moment she got outside she saw Zhang Wei waiting for her anxiously.

"Fatty Wei, what are you doing here?"

Zhang Wei looked up when he heard her

"Are you okay? I saw lover boy's ex also coming to the washroom so I was afraid something bad will happen."

Ru Shi felt warm in her heart.

"Hmm, how did you know that she's Mu Chang's ex?"

Zhang Wei scratches his heard as he looked away

"Well, I have to know everything about my competitor right?"

Ru Shi smiled

"Oh I see"

"Hmm let's go lover boy is about to make a speech. There you can look at him all you want"

Zhang Wei said as he winked at her.

"Hmm okay let's go."

The moment they entered the hall, Ru Shi saw Mu Chang standing on the podium. His eyes met hers and he smiled at her. As if to tell her not to worry. He has finally made a decision.

Ru Shi's heart skipped a beat as she stared at him.
