Mu Chang turned to look at her.

"She made you wait for a long time."

"I'm fine."

He frowned as he looked down.

Ru Shi thought, he was dissatisfied with his wrinkled clothes.

"I'll help you wash and iron it".

Mu Chang's face got slightly better.

"Take her to the branch office."

After that, he went into his office.

Ru Shi followed him, the moment she entered she saw him undressing.

The jacket had been taken off. The tie was on the table and he had unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his broad chest.

"Stop drooling, you know everything is all yours."

He said as he winked at her.

"Who is drooling over your old body, huh?"

Ru Shi snorted.

"Did you just call me old?"

Mu Chang asked as he approached her.

Ru Shi stepped back when he saw him approaching.

Mu Chang stretched his hands as he pulled her towards him. He hugged her as his fingers travelled to her ass.

He spanked her.

"Mu Chang you dare!!!!"

He chuckled as he whispered softly into her ears.

"Bad girls need to be punished. It seems you are not satisfied with my performance. Guess I've to work harder next time. Maybe I should let you stay in bed for three days so that you will know that I'm not old?"

Ru Shi shivered from the warning in his tone.

From experience, she knew he was not joking.

"Li Mu Chang!!!!"

Ru Shi shouted his full name in rage as he spanked her again.

"And this...is for making me worried. I thought something happened that's why you didn't come early but you were sitting comfortably reading while I was anxiously looking for you".

After they parted Mu Chang looked at her face which was red.

He did not know if she was angry or blushing.

Mu Chang sighed as he walked towards her.

"Are you angry?"

Ru Shi folded her hands over her chest as she ignored him.

"A little bird whispered to me that you really like cakes. So I was going to give you some. It seems you don't want it."

Ru Shi glared at him on hearing him.

"Humph! I'll forgive you just this once".

Ru Shi hated that he knew her weakness.

Mu Chang chuckled.

"Ermm... don't forget the cake!"

Ru Shi added after a while.

Mu Chang took a brand new suit from his closet as he shook his head.

Women and sweets! He does not know what they see in this sugary stuff.

After he finished changing, he gave the wrinkled one to Ru Shi.

"Here".

Ru Shi looked at him confusedly.

"Didn't you say that you'll wash and iron it for me? Why, are you regretting it?"

He explained seeing her confused look.

"No"

She held the clothes in her arms and curiously asked, "Where's the surprise?"

Mu Chang did not answer, but instead called Liang Shao to his office.

When he entered , he saw a woman sitting on the sofa.

She seemed vaguely familiar.

Wait, is she not that woman living in his villa.

What did Wang Lu even said her name was,

Ru Shi?

Mu Chang glared at him when he saw him staring at her.

He shivered from his dangerous glare.

"Boss, did you call me?"

He coughed as he asked.

Ru Shi looked up when she heard the voice.

Was he not one of the people who visited Mu Chang's villa ?

"You've to deal with the merger case and send me the results by tomorrow morning."

Liang Shao nodded. But he was shocked when he saw him preparing to leave.

He looked at the time. Doesn't he normally work overtime? What had happened today?

"That....if the partners ask where you are what should I say?"

"Dinner."

Liang Shao stood in the same place as he looked at him.

Ru Shi smiled politely at him as she followed Mu Chang out.

"I've to tell Leng Yan and Wang Lu".He whispered as he took out his phone from his pocket.

He did a conference call.

"Liang Shao, if you know that you have nothing important to say let me hang up. I'm experimenting on a new recipe. I don't have time"

Leng Yan complained the moment he answered the phone.

"I'm looking for some hot chicks so I need attention to select some good ones," Wang Lu added.

He does not know how they even became friends in the first place.

They are all complete opposites.

Leng Yan rolled his eyes even though they could not see him.

"I think Li Mu is falling in love again and the guy doesn't even see it!"

"Hello, are you still there?"

Liang Shao asked since his friends were silent.

"Huh, really? How did he even meet her? Do you think we should investigate her a little?

After all, she's Feng Lu's ex. What if it's a planned deal?"

Leng Yan was the first person to respond.

"Yeah, she's pretty though, but Li Mu has seen better girls. Why didn't he go out with them but chose her?" Liang Shao added.

"Says the guy who is still a virgin at the age of 29 because he's too obsessed with cooking to get laid," Wang Lu chuckled as he said.

"I can find you some cool chicks you know."

Leng shouted.

Liang Shao hung up the phone.

He knew once they started bickering, no one could stop them.

The car slowly stopped at Diamond restaurant at the center of the city.

Diamond restaurant is the best Michelin restaurant in the country.

Whether it's taste, environment or service, everything is first class.

Ru Shi heard that just eating a dessert there is equivalent to a regular employee's deposit for a year.

What's more, if you want to eat there, you need to book a week in advance.

Ru Shi looked at the restaurant before her and did not move.

Mu Chang looked at her and saw that she was a little uneasy.

He gaze softened.

"What are you doing?"

Ru Shi hesitated and looked at the ground.

"Are we going to eat here?"
