"Mu Chang, Mu Chang!!!"

Ru Shi called when she saw him in a daze.

"I also bought you food as well. It doesn't matter if you don't want to eat. I was afraid that you might be hungry so I bought it," said Mu Chang ignoring her question.

Ru Shi looked up and saw that several shopping bags were scattered around him.

He thought of everything.

How could such a person use her? No, she does not believe it.

How could a thoughtful man who took care of people like that do that?

Mu Chang picked up a new cotton swab; opened a bottle of mineral water and poured some into the bottle cap.

Then he wet the cotton swab and waved at Ru Shi.

"Come over."

Although Ru Shi did not know what he was going to do, she went to him.

He held her face with one hand and gently touched her lips with the cotton swab.

The cold touch made Ru Shi stiffen.

Mu Chang looked at her as he said, "alcohol will hurt so much that you will not be able to stand it. The wound is not too serious so I'll clean it with water." He became quiet again, and then he askes, "this injury... was it done by Feng Lu?"

Anytime he thought about what happened he became furious.

"No..." Ru Shi shook her head. "This is my own bite."

He breathed a sigh of relief.

The cotton swab slowly dyed red and Mu Chang looked at her for a long time before picking up another cotton swab.

His heart hurts.

Mu Chang blamed himself. If he had not taken her to that function, all of this would not have happened.

He made up his mind that he was going to tell her everything during this function but this happened unexpectedly.

He did not want to see her hurt.

"I'm going to take a shower, wait for me." Mu Chang said after he was done.

"OK"

The moment Mu Chang went to the bathroom.

Ru Shi's phone rang.

When she saw the caller ID it was Grandpa Feng.

Li Yi after ending the call with Mu Chang called Grandpa Feng and told him exactly what Feng Lu said.

After that, he dropped Feng Lu at the gate of the Feng's mansion and left.

The moment Feng Lu walked into the house; he found the atmosphere was not right.

Grandpa Feng was sitting in the dark as he looked at him.

Just as Feng Lu passed him, he heard the angry voice.

"Feng Lu, stop!"

Grandpa Feng said as he stood up and walked to his side. When he reached him, he slapped him across his face.

"Grand..."

"Don't call me Grandpa! You stupid boy! You're just like your father, always disappointing me." Grandpa Feng angrily said.

"Grandpa, I'm sorry. I just got angry when I saw her with Li Mu Chang."

Feng Lu said as he bowed down his head. He knew that his Grandpa already knew what happened and there was no need to deny it.

"Do you really think that Ru Shi is a fallen heiress?"

"Aah? But didn't she lose everything?"

Grandpa Feng chuckled when he heard him.

"Her grandfather was a business tycoon during his time. He was even richer than the Li's and Feng's combined together because he came from old money. His sons' never took anything from him. They all wanted to accomplish something with their own hands. Now that he's dead who do you think would inherit all his wealth?"

Feng Lu stiffened when he heard him.

"Sons'? Inheritance? Didn't old man Ru only have one son?"

"Yeah, that's what a lot of people says but....actually he had two sons. There were twins. He hid one of them because he was afraid of his enemies. He always wanted a backup plan. If I hadn't accidentally seen them playing I'd never have believed it myself."

Grandpa Feng said as he walked to the window.

"Old man Ru gave everything to Ru Shi. She can only obtain it when she reaches 25. I believe that the old man did that because he believes that his other son would come back to help her during that time."

Feng Lu could hardly believe it. He threw away such a good thing.

"And oh, her mother too wasn't a simple person, she was the daughter of the Chu family in country A. The Chu family is among the top three richest families in country A. But because she ran away from her wedding, her parents disowned her. She was a business prodigy at a young age. So every household wanted her. There were rumors that the Chu family disowned her in order to maintain their face but that's not true. They sent her to this country to protect her. They gave her a new identity and cut off all connections with her. Due to her intelligence, people either wanted to use her or kill her. So they planned everything in order to protect her. It was due to that intelligence that she could help Ru Chen build an empire. So what do you think they'll do when realized that their daughter is dead leaving behind a granddaughter?"

So Ru Shi is not an ordinary heiress? Feng suddenly regretted everything he had done.

"Do you think that I'd let you or your father chase an ordinary person. Now you've messed everything up and even made an enemy out of her. You're going to leave the country for some years until she cools down and forgets about everything, then come back and apologize. If you do not get her, the least you could do is not to make an enemy out of her."

Feng Lu now finds it funny when he remembers what he said to her in the bathroom. He knew this was the best decision.

"And oh, don't even think about contacting that Feng Yan when you're there because you'll never find out where I've sent her to. Go and sleep. Tomorrow you'll leave the country."

That night Feng Lu had a sleepless night.

"Grandpa Feng"

Ru Shi said as she answered the phone.

"Are you okay? Don't worry. Feng Lu and Feng Yan won't bother you again. I've sent them out of the country. Also, if you need any help don't forget to call me."

"OK, I hear you."

"Have a good rest!"

Grandpa Feng said as he hung up the phone.

He sighed not believing that his enemy got her!

When Mu Chang came out of the shower. He saw her in a daze while staring at her phone.

"What happened?" Mu Chang asked her

"Nothing." Ru Shi sighed.

"Well, let's sleep. It's been a long night." Mu Chang said as he hugged her gently to the bed.
