The Sinclair Charity Gala is well known in the country.

People who can participate in this gala are those involved in business, politics and entertainment circles as well as people who have had high achievements in the field are eligible to participate.

Feng Lu stood at the entrance of the hall. Ru Shi regained her composure and looked at Mu Chang for help.

Mu Chang's hand suddenly reached out and encircled her waist as he moved her possessively closer to his side.

His fingers pressed on her waist as she looked at Feng Lu with trepidation.

Feng Lu's gaze focused on Ru Shi like a laser beam.

"Good evening, Mr. Feng." Mu Chang took the lead to acknowledge him.

Mu Chang went on, "Xiao Ru, meet my enemy, why don't you say hello?"

Enemy?

The word used was good. Is it sarcasm that Feng Lu has become his enemy?

Mu Chang's arm was strong and powerful, giving her unlimited dependence and security. Ru Shi finally raised her head and flashed a small smile.

"Hello, Mr. Feng."

Feng Lu glanced at them and he left. No one saw the dangerous light in his eyes.

"Well done Kitten." Mu Chang smiled softly.

"Let's go in." She glanced at him and said.

In fact, Ru Shi rarely participated in these activities so a lot of people did not know her. They had heard her name as Feng Lu's fiancée but only a few people had seen her before.

On the other hand, Mu Chang was a very low key person. Except for some big men who had seen him face to face, no one really knew how the CEO of Li corps looked like. That is why Feng Lu did not recognize him. He had even spent a lot of money to try and find his identity but it was all in vain.

Ru Shi had been well behaved by his side. In the crowd, she felt someones gaze on her but she did not pay attention to them.

When Mu Chang asked her a question she would answer. When Mu Chang did not ask she would stand next to him, quiet like a church mouse.

She drank as she spaced out because she really hated such occasions. If it were not for Mu Chang she would not have come.

Before she realized it she was a little drunk.

Mu Chang stared at her cherry lips for a few seconds, before he took the wine from her hands.

"Are you bored?"

She looked at him with her glazed eyes.

Mu Chang resisted the urge to kiss her lips, but he did not disguise his desire.

His fingers moved from her slightly hot cheeks to her lips, constantly staring at her.

"Miss Ru, may I have this dance?" he asked gallantly.

His fingers were cold on her lips but they brought a heat to her body.

She glanced at the dance floor and glanced at Mu Chang who was before her and she finally nodded.

"I would be much honored," she said enchantingly.

She reached out and put her hand into his palm.

When their hands touched, her whole body became charged as if there was a current between them. The electricity passed directly from their fingers to every corner of their bodies.

He firmly held her hand, pulled her closer gently and drew her into his arms. They walked onto the dance floor.

Beautiful and soothing music played, and their dance was slow with elegant steps. Everything was so harmonious between them.

Feng Lu looked at them as he clenched his fists!

Mu Chang leaned closer to her ear and said softly. "You see the deadly glare that Feng Lu is giving us? You must make him regret cheating on you and not valuing you."

Ru Shi did not see Feng Lu's deadly glare but she believed Mu Chang.

Mu Chang pulled her closer to the point where was no gap between them. His hand rested intimately on her waist and his thin lips were very close to hers. Just a few more centimeters and their lips would be touching.

Her left hand moved slowly from his shoulder to his neck.

Compared to all other couples on the dance floor, they were the most eye-catching.

Ru Shi looked at his shoulder and felt like putting her chin on it to lean on him totally.

When the thought flashed in her mind, she was shocked and subconsciously wanted to step back.

She promised herself after her parents' death that she'd never rely on anybody again. She cannot believe she had such a thought.

Fortunately, Mu Chang reacted quickly enough and hugged her firmly to him.

"What?" he queried.

She shook her head

"No...Nothing."
