This sentence, made Ru Shi lose the original tightness of her heart but she didn't move or talk, she was afraid that all of this would be an illusion and the moment she blinks he'd disappear...

"Why aren't you happy to see me?" Mu Chang said disappointedly.

"I know we were supposed to go on a date but it wasn't deliberate to not show up, I had an emergency; my dad got sick and I had an accident on my way. I'd been in a coma that's why I didn't call or look for you early. I also called you but it wasn't reachable and the person I sent didn't follow the orders and he came back when he heard I had an accident."

Mu Chang explained in one breath, afraid that Ru Shi would get angry then leave him.

"Say something Kitten, please. If you want I'd let you spank me or let you be on top the next time ok?" Mu Chang panicked when Ru Shi still didn't respond.

"Kitten..."

Ru shi's lips trembled, and there were crystal tears in her eyes.

"I thought....you were gone! That you wanted to leave me like all of them. I was afr.."

Just as she was talking she felt her nose hit a hard chest, she felt warm. She realized that Mu Chang has hugged her despite being wet!

"Silly, of course, I want you and I won't leave you after all I've got a lot to teach you. We wouldn't want people to call me a bad teacher right?" Mu Chang chuckled.

"You..!"

Ru Shi's words caught in her throat as Mu Chang cupped her face in his hand. He lowered his lips to her hers.

He kissed her and the world fell away. It was slow and comforting in ways words would never be, his thumb caressed her cheeks as their breath mingled. He pulled back and touched his forehead to hers. This kiss was the beginning of something powerful. He smiled as he lay her head on his shoulder, even though she was still filled with warmth from the kiss, she couldn't help but shiver.

"Are you cold?" Mu Chang asked but he didn't give her the chance to respond as he pulled off his coat and drapes it over her shoulder.

"Let's go, the car is over there, let's go home!" Mu Chang said as he took Ru Shi's arm towards the parking lot.

When Feng Lu came out, he saw Ru Shi and Mu Chang holding an umbrella intimately.

In an instant, he felt powerlessness.

Was he wrong?

After getting on the car, Mu Chang found a towel and helped her wipe her hair. When he looked down he found the white dress stained with a mottled of red marks.

"Who's bullying you? Is it that Feng Lu?"

"Well, don't mind that insignificant person I've nothing to do with him anymore."

"Good!"

Li Yi looked at his boss gently wiping Miss Ru's head, he sighed thankfully Miss Ru didn't misunderstand their boss, or well he shuddered just thinking about it.

"Boss, shall we go to Miss Ru's apartment?"

"Well,"

Ru Shi looked at Mu Chang.

"You know where I live? Did you investigate me?"

"Well... I kind of did that was the only way to find you!" Mu Chang said awkwardly.

Ru Shi nestled in Mu Chang's arms as she answered

"Oh well ok."

They didn't talk again as a comfortable silence falls between them.

Even though Ru Shi had a lot of questions she didn't ask she wanted to wait until Mu Chang trusted her enough to tell her!

"Boss we're here!"

The moment they got down Ru Shi jumped into Mu Chang's arms.

Even though she was wet he didn't mind.

She buried her head in his neck and shoulder. She smelt his unique fragrance that she likes.

Mu Chang supported her to prevent her from falling.

A tall man holding the little girl looked like a koala hanging on a tree. This scene attracted the people nearby.

The people staying here has seen Ru Shi before so they looked at her strangely.

When they saw the handsome face of Mu Chang, some people were shocked in the heart, while the women passing by showed a look of envy and hate.

But they ignored those people

"Let's go up?

"Well.."

The spoilt voice of the girl sounded.

"Let's go up? Will you hug me?"

"Good!"

Mu Chang had no opinion at all, holding Ru Shi after all he missed her!

Ru Shi suddenly held his neck as she laughed, Li Yi looked at his Boss holding Miss Ru. Doesn't he care about his image? If he hadn't seen this with his own eyes he wouldn't have believed it! He never held Miss Qin like this!

Ru Shi lived on the second floor. As soon as they reached the front door. Ru Shi got down as she took her keys under the doormat to opened the door. At that moment, Mu Chang passed a trace of disappointment.

He really wanted to hold his Kitten all the time.

How is this building so low?

"Come in!"

Mu Chang looked at Li Yi and recovered his usual indifference look.

"You can go back first, pick me up tomorrow morning for the meeting. I won't go back tonight."

Li Yi bowed and respectfully answered, " yes."

The Boss was really ruthless after using him he's throwing him aside.

Li Yi sighed.

Mu Chang looked at the simple apartment and decided to speed up his game so his Kitten could live a comfortable life!

"Go take bath and let's rest it's been a long night." Mu Chang said to her.

"Good." She listened to him as she made her way to the bathroom.

Mu Chang realized he didn't have any spare clothes to change into so he sent a text message to Li Yi to bring him a set.

Finally, after she finished bathing, she wore her simple summer beige nightdress. Recently it was a little hot so it was just right to wear this.

When she opened the bathroom door, Ru Shi came out, the white straight legs were really eye-catching, even though no powder was applied, her face was still beautiful. She was full of seductive charm.

Her hair was messy but she didn't care after all Mu Chang has seen her at her worst.

She went to the dressing table and touched the hairdryer to blow. When she opened the hairdryer, the sound of the wind accompanied her delicate voice.

"Mu Chang, I don't have a new towel, you can only use my mine!"

"Good."

Mu Chang came over and touched her wet hair. Looking at her seductive look as she slowly drys her hair Mu Chang couldn't help but took back his sight and restrained himself as he enters the bathroom.

He took half an hour before he came out.

Ru Shi looked at him as she thought.

He took so long to take a shower he couldn't be...

She didn't dare ask what she thought.

Although they've been intimate before, but now two people lying on a bed. Ru Shi felt like it was a dream.

Mu Chang was very honest as he just held her in her arms...

"Relax, I'd just hold you. Or you want me to do something Kitten?"

Ru Shi blushed as she looked away.

"No!"

Mu Chang gently kissed her forehead.

"Sleep."

Because of the stress of the past few weeks, Ru Shi fell asleep quickly.

This night, she dreamed about everyone leaving her as someone shouted at her.

"You're a disaster star, that's why they all leave you! He'd also leave!"

"No, no I'm..not..he won't!"

She felt scared as she opened her eyes she felt herself being hugged, she felt a feeling of peace that she hadn't have in years...

She listened to his calm and powerful heartbeat.

He was here and he didn't leave it was a dream.

She breathed a sigh of relief as she nestled in his arms falling asleep peacefully once again...
