Mr Ceo's Little Lover Chapter 15 - They All Lied

Ru Shi came back to the hotel. On her way to her room, she met the waiter.

"Excuse me, did you see someone looking for me?" Ru Shi asked her with anticipation.

"Ye…No". The waiter didn't want her to live in fear since she thought Li Ye was very suspicious, so she said 'No.'

" Oh ok," Ru Shi said dully as she went back to her room.

The waiter didn't pay attention to her reaction, so she didn't see the disappointment in her eyes.

If she knew her decision would hurt Ru Shi she would've told her.

The moment Ru Shi got to her room, she sat on the edge of the bed, looking out the window. Still holding a glimmer of hope, waiting for him, hoping that it was just a matter of delay. She waited until dawn and stayed alone in the dark bedroom.

She wanted to see if he would come back, and look for her, he clearly promised her, so if he wanted to leave why didn't he say goodbye?!

Even if it was really because of something, he could've called her or send someone to inform her, but no one came to look for her nor did he call.

"Even if you want to leave, you can tell me, I'm not some stalker girl!"

Ru said to no one in particular.

The phone ringing brought Ru Shi out of a daze. She picked it up without checking the caller ID.

"Mu..."

"Xiao Ru, it's grandpa, when will you come home?"

Grandpa Feng's gentle voice sounded, Ru Shi, concealed her emotions, then opened her eyes.

"Hurry up grandpa, you rest first, I will be back soon."

"Well, come back soon grandpa wants to discuss something with you."

"Ok." Ru Shi knew he wanted to discuss what happened with Feng Lu.

After Ru Shi hanged up the phone, her heart was hurting a lot. She threw her phone and curled into a ball. Drops of tears fell onto the bed.

She still deceived herself, thinking that he just left for a while, thinking he still remembered their date, but until now she knew everything was a lie. He cheated her.

They all lied to her, first her parents said they would be home for her 17th birthday, but they never came back, until the next day she heard that they died in a car accident.

Feng Lu promised her, that he would never leave her even if his mother doesn't like her because she doesn't have a background, he would always protect her but he also cheated on her.

And now, Mu Chang also lied to her, for once she thought someone would stay even if it was just for three days she decided to cherish it, but he shattered all her hopes!!!

Why do they always leave her? Is she so unlovable? Ru Shi thought as the tears fell onto the bed.

She waited until the sun rose through her curtains the next day. The sky was beautiful, but she felt bleak without any brilliance.

All his hegemonic voices echoed in her ears. He was fierce and gentle, and she still remembered clearly but he was gone and it was all a dream...

Ru Shi stood up and looked through the window. Her eyes were empty and indifferent.

Mu Chang if you don't like me, why did you lead me on?! Did you just want to sleep with me?!

In the future, if you see me we would be strangers?!?!?!

Ru Shi called Shen Ruyi, as she wanted to speak to someone.

"Hey, Xiao Ru, what's up girl?" Shen Ruyi asked when she picked up.

"Xiao Shen, he left, it was all a lie."

Shen Ruyi's brow furrowed, "wait for a second...What happened?"

She took a deep breath and began telling Shen Ruyi everything.

"What in the...?" She wanted Ru Shi to meet a nice, handsome man, but not for her to get hurt all over again.

"He didn't even say goodbye, I'm sick of being around men who lie," Ru Shi said letting out a sigh.

"I know Ru, it's aw...."

Before she could finish, Ru Shi interrupted her. "It's more than awful, this is Feng Lu part two!"

"It's not like Feng Lu, he just left without saying goodbye, he didn't lie to you or cheat on you. Wasn't it meant to be just sex?"

"Yes, so?" Ru Shi didn't see how that mattered.

"So why are you so sad and angry? Did you fall for him?" She asked her.

Ru Shi hesitated, she remembered Mu Chang's touch, his kiss, his smile and how much she liked being with him.

"Maybe, I don't know!"

"Yes, you do or you wouldn't behave like this, so don't be rash maybe something came up."

"What's the point now? It's time for me to come back can you pick me up at the airport?"

"He sounds like he's worth it Ru, and I'm sure he would come and look for you."

Ru Shi sighed heavily again and ran her hand through her hair.

"Yeah, I hope so, see you at the airport."

Ru Shi didn't know how she got to the airport and boarded the plane. After she fastened her seatbelt, she tilted her head back and closed her eyes. Memories of Mu Chang flooded her brain, sleeping on his chest, his sarcastic remarks, his laughter, his touch, the way he kissed her... She realized that maybe just maybe she really liked him. Ru Shi sighed as the plane took off. Moments later, the flight attendant brought her some refreshments, she wanted to refuse but realized she hadn't eaten since yesterday so she accepted.

After eating she took a nap. When the plane finally landed, the person sitting next to her woke her up.

"Miss, the plane has landed."

"Oh, thank you." Ru Shi said as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She hadn't even realized that she was that tired.

The moment she got out of the plane she saw Shen Ruyi waving at her.

"Ru Shi, here!!" She shouted as everyone was looking at her, ignoring their gaze she ran to Ru Shi and hugged her.

"Look at you, if I see that guy I will whip his ass." Shen Ruyi said as she looked at her friend's puffy eyes and disheveled hair. She felt distressed.

Ru Shi laughed as she hugged her back.

She was back home, she would treat everything as a dream and forget about it.

"Let's get you home, " Shen Ruyi said, as she took her bag.

"Miss Ru, welcome back." The old driver sitting in the car greeted her warmly.

Ru Shi nodded and smiled to acknowledge him.

Shen Ruyi didn't ask her anything, she didn't want to remind her about what happened. So she shared all the latest gossip hoping to distract her. Ru Shi listened without saying anything, she knew this was her way of distracting her and she appreciated it.

"Miss, we're here." The driver said when they reached Ru Shi's apartment.

"Will you be fine?" Shen Ruyi asked her worriedly she was afraid her friend would feel depressed all by herself.

"Yeah, don't worry," Ru Shi said as she smiled softly and thanked the driver.

"See you, bye."

"Bye," Ru Shi watched in a daze as the car went away.

"Xiao Ru..."
