Qin Jieli turned her head when she heard footsteps approaching. She couldn't hide her excitement. So Mu Chang decided to come to see her. Of course, he will, after all, they once had something, and she is his savior after all. Too bad she couldn't talk to Mrs. Li since she said she was going out. She would have told her how that witch has brainwashed his son. She frowned when she thought about that witch! To even let Mu Chang rushed in a fire just to save her. She smiled when the footsteps drew near. She put on her best smile as she turned.

"Brother Li…" the smile on her face froze when she saw it was Ru Shi. Ru Shi smiled as she walked down the stairs.

"Miss Qin, so why did you decide to grace us with your presence," Ru Shi asked as she sits down on the sofa.

She gestured her hands for Qin jieli to sit. "You may sit down."

Qin Jieli dug her nails deep into her palms as she stared at Ru Shi behaving like the hostess of the house. She is the one who is supposed to be behaving like this! All of this belongs to her.

"Are you going to stop scowling and sit down? or if you have nothing better to say you can leave and stop wasting both of our precious time." Ru Shi smiled radiantly as she said.

"You….! Where is Li Mu Chang?" Qin Jieli said as she looked upstairs. "Well, he was tired last night, so he is asleep."

Ru shi looked at her nails as she said casually. Qin jieli nearly coughed out blood when she heard her. How can she be this shameless! You.... how can you sleep with him when he is sick and is all your fault that he is sick!" Ru shi raised her head as she looks at the flustered look on Qin Jieli's face. She has to admit her mood got better seeing the angry look on Qin jieli's face.

"Well, you know how overbearing he can be when he wants something is not my fault he is addicted to me. And can't see the peasants and rats who are shamelessly chasing him."

Ru Shi said as she chuckled. "Ru Shi don't be too much!"

Ru shi feigned ignorance as she blinked innocently at her.

"Can it be Miss Qin is offended because she is also one of those peasants and rats chasing my man?"

Word after word that flowed from Ru Shi's lips angered Qin Jieli more by the second. Her patience to see Mu Chang was running out and her temper was flaring. Rage boiled through her body. She barely had a chance to think of the consequence of her actions. The only thought running through her head was getting Ru Shi to shut up.

She pursed her lips as she raised her hand back. She threw her hand forward as hard as she could, whipping it across Ru Shi's face. The harsh sound of skin-contacting skin echoed off in the room. Her palm was bright red, the same red mark that matched the one on Ru shi's face. Ru Shi stared at Qin jieli with her eyes wide as her hand slowly made it to her fire red cheek. She grinned triumphantly.

Qin jieli was confused, why would Ru Shi smile after she hit her. Suddenly she got her answer.

"Ru Shi!" Mu Chang's worried voice sounded in the quiet room as he rushed towards Ru Shi. "Are you okay?" Mu Chang asked gently as he caressed her cheeks which were getting more red by the moment. Mu Chang's heart hurt. "Go bring ice! What are you standing there for?" Mu Chang shouted at Li Yi who was standing there in a daze. Who would have thought Miss Qin will dare to hit Miss Ru when the boss is around. But he finds it weird though knowing Miss Ru there is no way she would have let Miss Qin hit her. He sighed. Women are so complicated. He woke up from his stupor when he heard Mu Chang shouting at him to get ice. He quickly rushed to get one in the kitchen.

Qin jieli clenched her fist when she saw how Mu Chang was worried about Ru Shi. He hasn't even glanced at her since he came here. Just softly soothing another woman. The man she has loved all her life is now so into another woman that he didn't even notice her presence. Ru Shi looked at Qin jieli as she smirked at her. She never knew why some women will play white lotus just to get the affection of men, but she has to say the feeling is nice and looking at the bitter look on Qin Jieli's face made her not feel any remorse.
