Half an hour later, Ru Shi heard noise coming from outside, so she went outside. When she arrived, she saw the old doctor standing in the middle of the living room shouting; "who gave me this fake medicine!" The doctor turned to look at the maid who was standing by,
"You, tell me what you did with the medicine! The old doctor is popularly known for his bad temper even his apprentices and students around him are afraid of him. When the maid heard him she widened her eyes as if she was shocked.
"Doctor... what are you talking about? " The doctor frowned as he looked at her, "when I sent you, didn't I tell you how to identify the medicine?". The maid suddenly knelt down. "Yes…yes ".
"So you deliberately changed the package, and brought a fake medicine to me?!". The doctor said sternly. Everyone who was now present heard him and finally realized what was going on. It turned out the herbs needed to cure Mu Chang has been changed. This maid is one of the most trusted servants of Mrs. Li that is why the doctor sent her. I thought since Miss Ru was Mr. Li's girlfriend she wouldn't do anything to hurt him. Also, I saw the smell and color of the herbs are the same so I didn't think much."
The doctor widened his eyes in shock, "Miss Ru?". How can Mr. Li's own girlfriend want to hurt him? Also, he had seen the concern in her eyes earlier. The maid nodded as she cried, "it is indeed the medicine in the pharmacy. I saw Miss Ru went in to get the herbs and she wouldn't even have gotten the time to change the medicine!"
The doctor fell into contemplation when he heard the maid, yes how can she wants to kill her own boyfriend and how will she even know the color of the medicine. "Yes, I did take it out of the pharmacy. When I saw it I realized the name is exactly the same one on the recipe. Also, I didn't think the li family would misplace a rare medicinal herb like that."
Ru shi who was coming from her room interrupted the conversation when she heard what was going on. The doctor looked at Ru Shi and frowned slightly. He wanted to reprimand her but since she is Mr. Li's girlfriend he knew he can't. Moreover, as he thought earlier, she has no reason to hurt Mu Chang and fake her concern.
Can it be that the Li's really misplaced the wrong medicine? Just then one of the nurses came over. She really hates Ru Shi. How can a woman like that win someone like Mr. Li's affection? "Are you talking about Miss Ru? I saw her waiting in the corridor for a long time. She was holding the same box you're holding now."

"Fake medicine?!" Ru shi blinked slightly as she raised her lips in a cold smile. She will be a fool if she doesn't see what is going on. She said coldly; "there is no evidence for you, why are you so sure I'm the one who changed the herbs? Can it be is you who did it that's why you're so sure?"
