Wang Lu chuckled when he saw him looking at the sleeping Shen Ruyi like a love-struck fool.
"Well, if you say so. I hope you don't regret not telling her what you feel. Who knows maybe she also likes you and is waiting for you to make a move, or maybe not," Wang Lu smirked.
Liang Shao turned to look at Wang Lu.
"You should worry about your own love life first," He said as he stood up.
He walked towards her and picked her up in his arms as if she was the most precious thing alive.
"I'm going. See you later," He said as he stared at Wang Lu.
"Well, don't regret it when someone takes her from right under your nose. The worst feeling is watching the person you love, love another person."
After that Wang Lu gulped down his drink.
Liang Shao stiffened when he heard him.
"See you later," He said to Wang Lu as he walked out of the bar, leaving alone Wang Lu.
Wang Lu sat in daze as he thinks about Qin Jieli.
His cousin saved Mu Chang, did chores for him and never had a social life because she was too busy trying to impress Li Mu Chang.
She was too confident. He remembered what she said before leaving.
"There is only me in his heart. I will leave and go work hard to help him. When I come back I will apologize and will compensate him for a life time."
She just went after her dreams. Is it wrong? Or is it the way that she left that is bad?
He remembers the cheerful woman who confidently said Li Mu Chang deeply loved her so he would wait for her. But in just two years' time that little woman without a good background had walked into his life.
No one really knew if Mu Chang really liked her or it was all a disguise.
He poured himself a glass of wine as he sank into thoughts.
At this time, Mu Chang holding Ru Shi returned to the villa.
He looked at her and his gaze softened. He placed her gently on the bed.
Seeing that she was uncomfortable in the dress she was wearing, he changed it for her and covered her with the quilt.
He gently kissed her forehead and then he walked towards the balcony.
He looked at the dark night sky in the suburbs.
Suddenly, he remembered Wang Lu's question.
Did he really care if his parents did not like Ru Shi?
No, it is his life and he would not let anyone control it for him.
He knew his mother would not like Ru Shi because of her background.
He sighed as he looked at the little woman sleeping soundly. He smiled softly.
Guess he had to punish her when she woke up. He smirked, thinking about the fun he would have tomorrow.
The next day, Ru Shi rubbed her painful head as she sat on the bed with a sick look.
Looking at Mu Chang in a casual outfit, she frowned.
What happened last night? Why is her head hurting so much?
"Ai...my head…"
She complained bitterly.
Mu Chang squatted on the bed and looked at her,
"You can't drink alcohol but you drunk it like water yesterday. You definitely deserve it."
He said as he squeezed her small nose.
Wrinkling her nose, Ru Shi pouted.
She tried to recall what happened last night but she could not.
She just remembers drinking wine in front of Mu Chang.
"Wait, I drank yesterday?" Ru Shi muttered to herself.
"Don't drink again, if you have low alcohol tolerance. If it was not for me last night and it was another person; do you know what could have happened?"
Ru Shi bowed her head like a kid being reprimanded by her parents.
"I'm sorry…"
Mu Chang sighed helplessly.
"It's okay. Just don't drink when you're alone or with Shen Ruyi again."
Ru Shi nodded.
"Yes sir!" She chuckled.
Mu Chang shook his head.
"Do you want to sleep for a while longer?" Mu Chang asked her.
Ru Shi opened the quilt and got up
"No, I want to go to class," Ru Shi said as she made her way to the bathroom.
Mu Chang squeezed his brows together.
She is still not sober?
He folded his hands and looked at her like she was a clown.
"Today, you're going to class?"
He asked her while smirking.
Ru Shi turned as she gave him a very certain expression and nodded.
After a few seconds later, Ru Shi walked towards the bed.
She climbed it and covered herself with her quilt ready to sleep.
Mu Chang looked at the little woman, who was now in bed,
He smiled gently, and walked out of the room.
