Upon arriving at the amusement park, and soon after alighting from the car, Xue Jinxu immediately grabbed Chen Linyun's hand then started running, while shouting gibberish. She turned into an overly excited little kid.

"While dragging Chen Linyun around, she pointed at the different rides. "Chen Linyun, look! Come on, come on. Let's ride it!"

"Let's fall in line here!"

"This looks fun!"

"Hahahahaha!"

She ran around wildly as if it's her first time there.

Chen Linyun just followed supportively. He was smiling at her, enjoying his time with her, but he's getting easily tired, too. No doubt she had requested him to change clothes and shoes.

"Chen Linyun, let's try the churros!"

"Chen Linyun, we have to ride the rollercoaster!

"Chen Linyun, you aren't scared of heights, right?"

"Chen Linyun, you aren't scared of ghosts, right? Let's enter the haunted house!"

It was always, Chen Linyun this, Chen Linyun that. The lady had tons of unsurmountable energy within her.

All this while, Chen Linyun had been panting already. He was catching his breath, trying to match her speed and energy. He was trying to match her interests and her wants. It was no easy feat for him, an analytical person, who's so used to be in front of his laptop most of the time. Yes, he travelled, but not on foot. He travelled by car, and whenever he walked, he did deliberately. He's not fond of physical activities.

Even so, he's extremely happy enduring all this. He's ready to be exhausted for this lady. He's ready to be at her beck and call. Who else is more qualified to do these fun activities with her than him?

Finally, Xue Jinxu was starting to get tired herself.

"Chen Linyun, let's rest for a while."

"Are you thirsty? Are you hungry? Do you want anything?"

"Nah. I'm fine. How about you? Chen Linyun, how are you?" She was too preoccupied earlier, but now she realized that she might have gone overboard.

"Chen Linyun, did I give you a hard time dear?" Xue Jinxu asked worriedly, while looking at his pale greenish face.

"No, It's my fault that I lack exercise. I should exercise more."

"Are you feeling dizzy, darling dear?" She was now stroking his hair, his forehead drenched in sweat.

"Let's go home. I'll drive." She suggested.

They sauntered towards the parking lot.

While at the car, Chen Linyun started undressing his top. He was really drenched in sweat. He could get sick if he maintained wearing their matching maroon shirt.

Upon seeing his topless body, Xue Jinxu shrieked while immediatedly covering her eyes with her palms.

"Chen Linyun what are you doing! Why are you undressing in public?!" She objected strongly.

"I need to change clothes. There's no one here, just you and me." Chen Linyun honestly retorted. The last statement sounded a little off. It could be easily misunderstood.

They blushed.

"Hey, Jinxu, I didn't know you're affected by this kind of stuff, when you even grew up with two brothers." Chen Linyun teased while wiping the sweat from his chest area and back with a dry towel.

"What do you mean by that?" The lady said irritatingly. "They don't walk around or appear in front of people topless. Hurry, what are you waiting for? Finish putting on your top!" She ordered angrily. She was so red on the face. She couldn't even turn around to face him.

"Hey, Jinxu, I think I need your help on this." He snatched two clean shirts from his car's compartment then got so much closer to Xue Jinxu. He was still topless. "Which do you think will suit me better?" There was clear amusement in his eyes, while trying to maintain a poker face.

Upon Chen Linyun's almost innocent tone, the lady unsuspectingly uncovered her face and turned towards him, ready to lend a hand. When she saw him and his still-topless body, Xue Jinxu's eyes widened, her senses intensified one level higher. She immediately closed her eyes, one hand hovering on them, while the other hand tried to reflexively push him away. She ended up touching his bare chest. She withdrew it quickly upon realizing what happened.

"Chen. Linyun!!!! Stop messing around, will you?!" She's extremely extremely upset now.

Chen Linyun hurriedly picked one shirt without even looking at it then put it on.

"I'm just teasing a little bit…" He tried to pacify her by rubbing her back.

"Well, Linyun, I'm also sweating profusely. I might get sick! I'm thinking of changing clothes too. What do you think?" She playfully lifted her shirt's edge a little bit, intentionally showing some skin on her flat belly. "You have a spare shirt, as I see it." Her eyes narrowed teasingly while keeping her gaze at Chen Linyun.

She pulled down the shirt's neckline a little bit with her other hand. There were clear traces of sweat dripping down on her neck. Some of her otherwise hidden skin above the chest area was revealed.

Chen Linyun gulped. His eyes were glued on the dripping sweat on her neck. It was quite alluring. He gulped and gulped. He's going crazy.

"No, I don't have a spare." He threw the clean shirt on his car's compartment, closed it, then he snatched Xue Jinxu's hand that was holding her shirt's edge. He dragged her towards the passenger seat.

"We'll get going now. You can change at home. Here's a clean towel. Make do with it for a while."

He said hurriedly, closed the passenger door, then he headed towards the driver's seat. He was teased back just like that. When the lioness set her mind to it, he could be helpless.

"Can you drive?" Xue Jinxu asked, full of concern. Earlier he wasn't feeling well.

"Yes. Don't talk to me." He said crankily.

Xue Jinxu rolled her eyes. 'Okay! You don't have to be like a grumpy old grampa.' She remained silent as he instructed.

He stepped on the pedal and drove in silence towards their apartment complex as speedily as safety would permit.
