Guangxi, being stronger, tore Kang Sola's hand away from his mouth. "Pfttt. Pfftt."

"Hey!!!" Xue Guangxi protested. He held both her hands in place and blurted out hurriedly. "Sola needs a place to stay, Xu-jie. Will you please allow her to stay in your empty apartment? There! Phew!" After finishing his statement, he freed Kang Sola's hand as he puffed his chest out triumphantly, a grin adorning his boyish visage.

While Xue Guangxi vibrated with sunny confidence, Kang Sola felt small and hot in the cheeks and wanted to squirm under a rock or under the pond where the koi fish swam peacefully. 'How humiliating!'

"Hahaha. Just kidding." Xue Guangxi swallowed his food, and finally shut his mouth afterwards. He took a sip from his refreshing juice.

"Sola, what really happened, dear? I'm all ears." The missus sat at the empty chair beside Sola on the four-seater garden sala set, and captured her little hands on hers and gave it a soothing squeeze.

"Uhm…" Kang Sola hesitated, but in her mind, she was already thrashing gentle expletives onto Guangxi's way.

"Guangxi!" The lady and the girl cried out unanimously.
