Piore raised his hand slightly, to ask Mo Lihua to wait as he savors his dessert. "No. Your father is on a better standing than them in this country." He is also not in the mood to keep on acting like a good guy and serve women.

Mo Lihua nodded her head in agreement as she is aware that her father is wealthy enough for the Doncrelli to target.

Mo Lihua is also confident that despite the billion dollar Mo Che needed to spend for her temporary freedom, he was able to get it back after years of hard work.

She initially wanted to help with the Mo Corporation, but with the Doncrelli's still pestering them, Mo Lihua changed her mind and just decided to help on a different way.

What kind of way? Fei Yan is helping her with that.

Mo Lihua is aware that there is a limit with her peaceful life. She tried to prepare for her own protection or means to fight back, however with the news of the selection, Mo Lihua is not sure if they have any chance to win.

A selection, after all, does not only involve the people from her generation. It also allows the previous generation to compete for the head position even if there are clear differences with the resources and abilities that they have.

Add to the fact that experienced people are mostly ahead of the game.

"If you want a better backing, you need to marry either someone who has a high position in the government or a royalty. You choose." Piore advised casually that also cause for Mo Lihua to cough hard, as she almost chokes because of what he said.

'What?! Marry?' Mo Lihua thought to herself as she continuously hit her chest with a hand as she tries to ease her coughing.

"I will not marry!" Mo Lihua hissed under her breath while glaring at Piore with murder.

Shrugging his shoulders, "Well, I am just saying, if, you want a backing. That is also if you catch the attention of that someone with high status." Piore's grin is annoying to look at.

Mo Lihua can call the main business of the Doncrelli family as gold digging at its finest. A woman or man from that family will marry someone who has status and uses it to their advantage.

So why not just have a normal business merger? Mo Lihua does not know. She can only assume that Doncrelli is just too greedy or they do not plan to change their illegal business anytime soon.

The family though have some 'normal' business like an international entertainment agency that has hundreds of models, actors, and actresses.

"Heh. You are funny. If you just married someone who is so dirt poor before the selection, I am sure that they will not let you join." Piore added humorlessly.

Mo Lihua's eyes narrowed at Piore. 'Is he testing me?' She thought to herself, as she never thought about that option before.

"I will think about that." Mo Lihua replied seriously, but deep down she knows that things are not as simple.

Nodding his head, "Yes. Try it, cause I am not sure if they will have a black envelope order for your future husband." Piore replied.

It is Mo Lihua's problem if she decided to try his suggestion. It is just that if she really decided to marry, her husband will be her additional weakness.

After all, the position of the head is too enticing for some to the point that they will use any means for a candidate to back out.

In the selection case though, backing out means as good as dead.

Of course, Mo Lihua is aware of all the things that Piore is deducing if ever she really decided to marry someone and she will be very careful with it.

"Hmm. Let's go." Piore then stood up and quickly went out of the restaurant after having his full. He walked fast that almost left her behind.

Mo Lihua followed behind him assuming that they are going back to the Mo Mansion, but that is not really the case...
