'Heh. Yeah, support the agency that is trained to kill people.' Mo Lihua thoughts.

For Mo Lihua, it feels like they are scamming the socialites, but they never asked for the favors. They were given willingly.

The entertaining sight continued until they left the store, bags of clothes on both of her hands, that also the case for Piore. When one of the women offered to pay for any damage she 'accidentally' caused, it became a competition.

Some of the socialites even offered to bring them to another store to show off, but Piore already refused, pretending to be ashamed.

Mo Lihua though pushed for it, but Piore subtly glances at her, eyes expressionless that made her shut up.

Piore being expressionless is like silence before the storm. It is like a silent warning that translates to, 'I will slaughter them for wasting my time.'

"I am hungry." He suddenly noted and quickly went inside a French restaurant. "What a drag," Piore added after carelessly placing the bags on the restaurant floor.

Mo Lihua stares at Piore who quickly looked at the menu before quickly ordering a lot. He looks more annoyed instead of tired.

The day probably stressed him out as well just like her. Mo Lihua did not expect for it to be so long because of his antics.

In the end, Mo Lihua does not have any choice but to Yang Chen and change their meeting for the next day, giving her reason as 'emergency'.

She did not speak at all, even when their food arrives and Piore started digging in like she does not exist.

"Transfer me the payment for all these clothes." Piore suddenly spoke a matter of fact as he looks at her with indifference...

"Huh? Payment?" Mo Lihua's eyes narrowed. 'What do you mean?! We got them for free!'

Even though she is really complaining, Mo Lihua again just agreed silently. After all, the clothes are just a bonus for Piore. Heck, his own clothes are way more expensive than what they got.

Piore's initial intention is not really the free gifts as he is showing her the real reason why she needs to go to the extent.

Mo Lihua already realizes this the moment Piore was treated differently by the socialite.

Though he is trying to be pitiful with his choice of words, it still did not change the fact that that the people in the store believed him because of his handsome face.

It proves that just being pleasing in the eyes, even if you do not have money, you can always get what you want.

Just like how the Doncrelli family had taken that notion seriously. An initially illegal group that uses its family members to be tied up to a powerful and rich family by marriage using sheer beauty or possibly other underhanded tactic.

"See these?" Piore showed her calling cards that were offered by some of the socialites. Even if some of those women are trying to build communication with him because of personal reason, he seems to not mind.

Mo Lihua nodded, "What are you going to do with those?" She asked with concern. "Are you planning to use those as a possible backing?"

Piore snorted, "Heh. Do you think they will give me their calling card if their pillow talk is worth praising?" For him, if women are willing to sleep with another man despite already being committed, it only means that they do not have a good relationship with their partners.

So why would he waste time dealing with such people? Aside from that, it is not his responsibility to give Mo Lihua someone that she can use to win the selection.

The new leader will not be chosen just because of a strong connection. What he did earlier is just showing Mo Lihua the advantages of the things that she is deliberately avoiding due to her connection with the Doncrelli family.

Whether she likes it or not, Mo Lihua needs to change and he will make sure of that.
