"Try saying that again," Mo Lihua's voice turned cold and murderous. Their eyes locked but the man did not mind being looked at with hostility.

Mo Lihua ignored that statement and asked Piore instead with a bitter tone, "Do you really think that all my efforts are useless?"

"Who knows? There's no harm trying as long as your alive. Sometimes though, people are better of the dead." Piore responded as he leans back of the chair carelessly, clearly indicating that he is not in a hurry to leave.

"Piore, why are you doing here? Just tell me so you can leave soon." Mo Lihua asked tightly. She does not like the subtle hints and mocks that is coming out of Piore's mouth.

"I won't be leaving. I am your guardian until they finished reading the last will." Piore replied casually.

"What?!" Mo Lihua exclaimed as her hands hit the table causing for it rattle. Small bottles of condiments on the table even fell to the ground because of it.

Piore released a deep breath, "What is wrong with you? Are you deaf?" He asked voice laced with impatient.

His brows wrinkled deeply before adding, "I am speaking this country's language. Why do you always need me to repeat what I just said?" Piore is pretty sure if Fei Yan is here, he would be dealing with two noisy girls.

"Piore! I am not joking with you! Why do I have a guardian? That does not make any sense!" Mo Lihua continued to shout, her face pale, but shows confusion and disbelief.

For Doncrelli family, guardians are for main members of the family. It word itself sounds good, like showing importance to a family member.

Some would even think that it means they are well protected. However, that is not the case.

A guardian is mostly to evaluate, a person that will check your qualification to be the possible successor.

Then if a guardian had deemed you useless, then you will be disposed of...

"Does not makes sense? On what basis are you referring to Lihua? The law of normal citizens?" Piore asked mockingly as he looked at the panic on Mo Lihua's face with distaste, "The Mo family sure had sheltered you too much which is unnecessary."

"Piore... I was away for almost ten years. I thought they have forgotten about me..." Mo Lihua murmured as she sat back to her seat tiredly.

She was a failure for them. Thus she was not treated as human after she failed during the selection.

Thinking about it, it was stupid to even include her to such a process wherein a kid against adults!

Can she even complain being treated unfairly that time? No!

Mo Lihua's hand started to shake uncontrollably as she looked at Piore with a sharp glare. Her intent to hurt his cousin to vent her anger is clearly shown in her eyes.

"See that?" Piore pointed at her calmly shaking hands that she is holding across her chest using a fork, before continuing, "Regardless how you act docile or harmless in front of all these insignificant people, your killing intent will always there."

"Shut up." She replied, through heavy breathing. Mo Lihua cannot help it but get her pen that contains her temporary relieve. She does not care anymore if Piore was able to see it.

Since the man is surely not going to leave soon, might as well show him all her weaknesses. Who knows if she can save her life by doing so?

"Wow. You do try hard." Piore commented as he looks to Mo Lihua who just took two pills. "That's a high dosage of anxiety pill."
