Magic Crusade Chapter 14

CHAPTER 14

A week passes since the incident between Seito, Lamia and Kamezaki. Seito is at school and it was after lunch so it was practical in the school 's training room.

A whistle blows.?

"Okay everyone", says Ms. Rita.

" Ms. Rita? How many positions do you have? ", he asks.

" Oh. It's only 3. "

"3!?!" , the whole class went.

"Or was it....?" , she went while holding her chin.

"There 's more!?"

"Anyways. Have a seat."

Everyone went and say on different places on the floor.

"Today we will be doing sparring but you will decide your own opponent"

Everyone went to find their partners.

"Good, now I can challenge that detestable boy Seito", went Layla.

"Would you like to pair with me Seito? ", Retse asked Seito while they sit beside each other.

"Shit", goes Layla.

" Amm , sure why not", he accepted. "It feels like he hasn't left my side since he introduced himself"

"Good"

"Okay, which pair would you like to go first?" , asks Ms. Rita of the class.

"Us!" , Retse jumped up.

"Huh?"

"Come on let's go", he began to tug him softly.

" Ehh, already "

He got up and they both went in a simulated area. It was like the area used in the trials but this area could change its appearance. It became like a field of low grass.

"It always crossed my mind but what kind of weapon do you use?"

"Oh I use a gun." , answers Retse.

"A gun is that so"

He holds out his hand as if he was holding a handgun.

"Flame King"

Bright orange flames began to concentrate around his hand that manifested from nothing. The flames disappears and a gun appears out of nowhere, covered in small patches of flame.

"Woah"

The class gets immersed in the happenings.

"That gun.... It looks just like...." , went Seito in his mind.

Lamia just happens to be passing and reaches the door. She looks inside through the small glass in the door and notices the gun.

"That gun!"

"You ready Seito?"

The Sin Sword appears.

"Anytime"

"This will last for 3 minutes. The battle will end when someone is unable to continue." , stated Ms. Rita.

"Yes!" , shouted both of them.

"Begin"

"Let's go. Scattershot.

Retse shot a flaming bullet at Seito which separate into 6 different bullets but they all seemed to miss.

"You missed"

"Did I?"

"Huh?"

Seito looked around and saw that all 6 bullets were behind him.

"Flaming Judgement"

"Crap!", shouted Seito.

The bullets started raining down on him. The bullets went down a total of 60 times. Then they all came down at once causing a huge explosion sending debris everywhere and dust and smoke begin to fill the room.

"Really Seito, I didn't know you were this weak."

He started walking off.

The dust began to clear.

"Shut up."

Retse stops and looks back around.

"Ohhh."

"This is just getting started"

It cleared completely.

"Death Style: Flame Protection."

His whole body was covered in Hell flame and he didn't have a scratch on him.

The flames began to disappear until it was completely gone.

"There we go. Let's get it started."

"Boltstride"

He reached in front of Retse in a flash and as he swung the sword at him Retse have him a big smile.

*Shing*

Retse blocked the sword with his gun. Seito backed off.

"Not bad"

"You too. That was quite a swing I must say", he says as he shakes his wrist. "I could feel the force travelling through my hand. He's got some serious power"

"Let's get serious", said Seito.

"Why not", replied Retse.

Hell Flame appeared around the sword while the small patches of flame on the Flame King became bigger.I

"I haven't mastered this attack yet but I guess now is as good a time as any." , said Seito to himself.

"Well aren't you coming at me", said Retse.

"Definitely."

He takes his stance.

"Here I come. Boltstride"

"Scattershot" , he said as held up the gun.

"Tsk"

Seito stopped halfway through the charge.

"It would make sense he stopped. He might be able dodge it but the fact that they can track him means he would be dodging the whole time and wouldn't get anywhere. "

"Flaming Judgement"

"Death Style: Flame Protection"

Hell Flame covered Seito once more while the balls of flame rained down on Seito but they were coming down with much more force than before but the flame cover was strong enough to keep them at bay.

"One minute left", Ms. Rita relayed.

The Flaming Judgement ended and Seito is seen panting.

"HAHAHAHAHA! It seems this is win"

"You talk too much",said Seito with a low voice.

"Huh?"

"As long as I'm still standing. I won't admit defeat"

"I must commend your conviction no matter how futile it is. Let me end this", declared Retse.

"Isn't this too intense for a simple sparring match?", asked one of the students.

"AGGGGGGHHHH!!!"

Seito started giving out a loud shout where after black aura could be seen emitting from his entire body. His right eye became full black with the pupil purple. The crack came over his eye and the horn also appeared.

"It's this feeling again-", went Layla.

"You're very strong. Yes, a real challenge"

"Piercing Beam"

"That attack!"

Both Lamia and Seito got surprised.

"Why so surprised?" , asked Retse. "Don't compare it to that weakling's own, mine is the real deal.

"Well then."

"Death Style: Devil's Slicer."

He sent a purplish-black attack that was like a line of Hell Flame and Retse used the Piercing Beam. The attacks collide but the beam was stronger as it began to slice through the Devil's Slicer.

"What!?"

Seito blocks it with the sword and huge explosion occurs which creates a cloud of smoke and debris.

"That's it", shouted the teacher.

Everyone stands up amazed as debris and smoke clouds fill the room. As the clouds began to dissipate, Retse could be seen on one knee breathing hard like he was breathing his last breath.

"Surprisingly that battle did a number on my stamina. More than I anticipated."

"That was something else"

"I know right"

"Humph", went Layla.

"Wow, wait?...... What happened to Seito?", went a worried Lamia.

The smoke that was on the side Seito was on began to clear away. Seito could be seen on the floor, unconscious, face down on the floor. He was tattered, with clothes burnt and torn.

"Unbelievable"

Layla was astonished at the sight she was seeing.

Lamia stops silent.

Retse faints.

"Ahh? Hurry and get them to the infirmary"
