Magic Crusade Chapter 13

    CHAPTER 13

Lunch time is over and classes pass by. Seito gets up and says his farewells as he was about to leave the class Retse approaches him immediately.

"Hello Seito"

"Oh, hey Retse. Is something wrong?"

"Well I was wondering if you would like a ride home."

"Oh I couldn't", while shaking his head and arm in modesty.

"I insist"

Soon after Seito gives in and takes Retse up on his offer. While walking to the gate something peculiar happens.

"Seito"

"Belze what is it?"

"We're being watched"

"Yea I realized as well but it doesn't make sense to draw attention to it.", he goes.

"Is something the matter Seito?", Retse asks him while looking at him with a slightly concerned face.

"Oh no it's nothing."

They finally reach the school's gate.

"So how are we....."

And before he could finish Retse immediately snaps his fingers and a limousine could be seen coming. After a second or so the front of the vehicle passes them but it doesn't stop.

"How long is this thing?", Seito asks himself looking puzzled.

"It's quite long if I do say so myself", Retse tells him.

"Oh I see", he says. "Rich people are too rich", he says to himself.

It stops and the same person who brought them the lunch to them was the person who came out.

"He's our family butler"

"I see." "Wait, I just noticed but why was he at school in the first place??"

The butler opens the door and both Seito and Retse enters the vehicle. The butler then re-enters and it began to move again.

After a while of driving and silence, Seito askes Retse a question.

"I need to ask you something."

"Hmm?"

"Why did you approach me? I'm poor you know. Wouldn't rich people who saw you with me start talking.Out of all the rich people in the class, why me?", he asks while looking out the window.

"Amm, let's just say you peaked my interest."

He looks around at him and asks.

"What does that mean?"

"It's nothing special, don't worry about it."

"Okay, if you say so.

The car was filled with an 'awkward' atmosphere.

"This is my home here"

"WHAT! What is a limousine doing around these parts?!", goes some of the people passing by.

People began gossiping to each other, others peaking out their windows and some just admiring how it elegant it looked.

The butler hurries and comes to open the door. Both Seito and Retse gets out.

"Well it was nice making your acquaintance, Seito", he says as he hold out his hands

"Isn't the Jinn's son", goes a lady on the road.

"Oh boy", goes Seito.

"Same here:", as he held Retse's hand.

They shook hands.

"The Ken's must have hit big time", says the old man from across the street.

His daughter came, hit him in the head and dragged him inside.

"ha ha.... ha", goes both Seito and Retse.

Retse goes back in the limo and the butler closes it and went back inside. The window winds down.

"Well see you tommorow", he tells him.

"Ok", replies Seito.

It drives off.

Seito asks Belze a question.

"Are we still being spyed on?"

"No, they left some time ago", he answers.

"Think they saw where I lived"

"It's a possibility"

"Okay.......... wait?"

"What is it?", Belze asks.

'What happened to Mic, I haven't heard him for a good time now."

"You just realized. He's been gone for some time now. He went back toi Heaven on a summons."

"Must be important", he says.

Mic is walking on a street of gold infont of a tall structure that was shining. He goes up the stairs and inside he went. He goes in further and he bows down to the ground.

"You called"

Seito continues to walk and reches the door. He opens it and takes two steps in. He immediately felt a chill down his spine so he quickly takes a step forward. Hima falls straight to the ground unto her face.

"Big bro, what was that? Now my face hurts"

He turns around quickly.

"Really?"

"Mhmm", she goes while holding her face.

Seito drops his bag and went to pick her up. He picks her up and she quickly hugs him.

*sob* *sob*

"I-I'm so sorry Him..... wait! You wouldn't feel pain from just falling on your face.

He drops her and go pick up his bag. Hima jest at him by pushing her tongue and squinting her eyes.

"Mm. I'm going upstairs, don't disturb me."

He begins to walk.

"Ehhhhhhhh! But why?", goes Hima.

He stops and turns his head.

"Because I said so"

She stays there silent.

He continues his way upstairs.

"..... SEITO HATES ME", she begins to bawl.

He goes in his room and dive into his bed.

"Tch"

"What is it Seito", asks the worried Belze.

"I'm not sure. For some reason I fell weak."

"Well, aren't you"

"Maybe, I don't know"

"Hmm?"

In a forest in the outskirts of the Kingdom, five men in black robes were infront of what seemed to be a door covered by plants, vines and moss with a strange marking at the peak of it. It was a flame with a humanoid figure around it.

"Is this it?"

"It must be right"

"We have to make sure because if we bring him back wrong info, we'll be killed."

"Giyakyakya"

"Silence!"

The four of them went silent.

"This is what our master sent us to find and we found. Besides it has the mark. The mark of the end. Let's go.

They all disappear in the shadow.
