They realized the dire situation they were in and the creeping imminence of Angelic Faction's connection to the Buried City .

The Angel Faction had seized control of several entrances with speed and stability—right before news spread out to the public, the four main entrances had already fallen under the complete control of the Hall of Heroes (together with Black Jail), Scarlet Dynasty, Netherspirit's Claw and the Fallen Angels .
As for the Demon Faction, they did not only have their four main Leagues contesting for control, now there was the new Twelve Zodiacs League—the fifth League from their faction—joining in on the chaotic contest for missions! The intensity of their contest was even greater than that of Angel Faction's .
It was also due to the five Leagues from Demon Faction wrestling so intensely in the Buried City that many Tier 5 Champions from the Angel Faction had to abandon their progress on the Mythical Battlefield and join the fight in the Buried City . Most Tier 5 elites and Champions from the Demon Faction had already participated in the fight for Buried City after all…
Many Tier 5 Summoners even joined the effort to utilize their summoning skills to teleport many more fellow players down to the Buried City!
Before long, the Demon Faction Leagues had brought in a huge tide of their men, invading the Buried City speedily . Their speed surpassed Majestic Hero's and the others' anticipation…
It was only a matter of time before both the Angel and Demon Faction players appeared in every part of the Buried City and clashed!
Several hours later, Violet Orchid led Xiaoxiao, Slayer's Heart, Dinosaurcerer, Black Rock, Judge, Subjugator, Snowleaf, Fateless, and Apocalypse into a deeper part of the Ruins, successfully defeating the Overlord Boss, the Spider Lord . They stepped into the Warp Portal that was formed by the deceased Overlord and they were transported straight to the Buried City!
Within three minutes, the ten of them got past all the guards…
Once he got a hold of this news, Qin Ruo, who was still scanning for his final two Tier 5 Megabosses, immediately returned to Moonrise City and contacted Majestic Hero as well as Black God . He asked them to send their men to meet Violet Orchid's crew in the Buried City .
Qin Ruo knew what they were up to next—it was a mission that required them to eliminate twenty Spectral Shamans . The mission had a time limit, and it was not something Violet Orchid's ten-men squad could handle, especially not when some of them were of the Bandit Class like Fateless . If the Hall of Heroes could send some people to help them, it would be much quicker and safer for them clear the mission, subsequently branding their Soul Imprint onto the Eternal Barrier .
Only then could they implement their plan to eliminate the Dark Knight Commander…
Qin Ruo, recalling something, stepped into the Warp Portal that was connected to the Eternal Peak where Darius was at!
In a blink of an eye, the Buried City's gloomy sky appeared before him as a torrent of exhilarating battle cries surged into his ears… Among the various noises, he heard a familiar voice…
“Haaaah!”
As he raised his head, he saw Subjugator . His Angelic Wings were bathed in a knot of golden flame as he fought a flock of Skeletal Dragons in the sky .
His Sword of Ignis was glided through the sky at a speed faster than that of the Skeletal Dragons . He was like an agile and fiery angel, killing them with a burst of powerful Combat Aura .
Subjugator's high-level Fire Dragon Combat Aura was super effective against the Shadow attribute . Even though he only had Gold Equipment, he was able to tank the damage from the Tier 5 Skeletal Dragons while he shot out powerful golden fiery beams from his sword, severely wounding them . The Skeletal Dragons let out a long, agonizing howl as they received fire damage, one that ignored their Defense and effective against their Shadow attribute .
Seeing him gain the upper hand, Qin Ruo quietly waited inside the Eternal Barrier, not wanting to ruin his friend's fun . After Subjugator finished off the last Skeletal Dragon, Qin Ruo stretched his wings and flew towards Subjugator .
“So, how was it?” It was Subjugator's first time visiting the Buried City .
“Hehe, these weren't enough to satisfy my cravings for killing stuff . I'm off for another round!” As he uttered those last few words, Subjugator rushed to the edge of the summit of the Eternal Peak and dove right into the countless waves of Underworld soldiers below…
Qin Ruo smiled and waited for a few seconds before he chased after him .
Facing the magnificent sight of the Buried City and the seemingly endless waves of monsters, not many players would have been able to contain their excitement .
He was even more excited than Subjugator when he first entered the Buried City…
As he glided down from the peak, Qin Ruo enquired the others about their statuses .
It would seem that they had gradually met up with the Hall of Heroes as well as Black Jail and had already started the mission to eliminate the Spectral Shamans . Qin Ruo quickly ended the private messaging session and sped up his diving speed .
As he was about to reach the Underworld Army and join the effort to take out the Spectral Shamans, Subjugator stopped him via private messaging .
“Wait! Clan Leader, let me try taking them on alone first . ”
“Alone?”
Qin Ruo stopped his advances, speechless .
There were Cerberuses, Skeletal Warriors, and Arcane Zombies flooding from all directions, tossing countless and endless of Shadow-type magic and skills towards Subjugator, who was charging into them . The latter, covered by a powerful cloak of the Fire Dragon's Combat Aura, continued on his bloodthirsty skirmish, mowing down his enemies by the bundles with his Combat-Aurinfused sword . He literally cut his way towards the Spectral Shamans by force .
In half a minute, Subjugator leaped up from the ground and charged straight at the Spectral Shamans .
Qin Ruo was stunned looking at this .
Subjugator was not only able to weather the countless waves of physical and magical attacks from the Underworld creatures . He even managed to tank all the powerful magic attacks from the Spectral Shamans . Plus, he did not stop to gulp down potions along the way/ Sometime he landed so many strikes on the Shamans that they could not strike back in time, their bodies juddering back and forth like punching bags . They did not get any breathing space at all .
After he mowed down a few more waves of enemies, Subjugator took a gulp of potion and continued on like an undefeatable Vajra… The first Spectral Shaman was defeated in an almost one-sided battle, slaughtered like cattle by Subjugator . Qin Ruo was stunned . Subjugator was even more of a Berserker than an actual Berserker!
What surprised Qin Ruo the most was his ability to tank that much damage—Subjugator only had a set of Tier 4 Gold Swordmaster Equipment, and they were Damage-oriented equipment too . Yet, he survived the enemies' attacks like how he would if he had worn Dark Gold Equipment and activated Dual Defense Magic .
“Subjugator, how much is your Physical and Magic Defense?”
After defeating the first Spectral Shaman, Subjugator's bloodthirst was finally satiated . He lifted his wings and flew up to the sky, ignoring the other ordinary Underworld creatures on the ground .
He was aware of Qin Ruo's doubts . Therefore, he flew closer to Qin Ruo and answered him .
“My Defense ain't strong . That was all the doing of the Fire Dragon's Combat Aura…”
“High-level Fire Dragon's Combat Aura can nullify twenty percent of incoming Shadow-type Damage, granting me immunity against most Shadow-type Status Effect . Plus, basic Combat Aura raises my Defense too . Tier 5 Underworld creatures aren't a threat to me . When I'm not hindered by some lowly Underworld creature, the Spectral Shaman becomes but a delicious meal for me . ”
Qin Ruo finally understood .
If that was the case, Ignis Swordmasters and Pyromancers would be great assets in the Buried City .
As Qin Ruo was lost in his thoughts, Subjugator had locked on to another Spectral Shaman and dived towards it at the speed of light…
Qin Ruo was now comfortable with letting him handle the situation himself—Subjugator could easily deal with the Underworld Army alone; there was no need to help out at all . If they both were to fight the Spectral Shamans together, it might take even longer to kill them…
“Little Qin… my brother…”
Suddenly, Qin Ruo received a private voice message from Majestic Hero .
“Did something go wrong with my men?” Qin Ruo replied with a smile .
“Did something go wrong? Haha, don't be silly . You Fallen Angels, Bauhinia Clan, and Violent Army Clan are really an extraordinary bunch . I bet they could have cleared the missions easily even if we didn't butt in . ”
“No, they can't . Sure, maybe the Elementalists would hold their own, but the Warriors could still need your protection,” Qin Ruo replied .
“Warrior? You mean Judge?” There was a mix of weird wryness in Majestic Hero's laugh . “Forget it, I suppose you summoned us down here so that you could show off, eh?”
“What?”
Hearing that, Qin Ruo was even more confused . “What's really happened?”
“Yeah, just quit with your f*cking humble bragging!”
Black God replied in a hilarious exaggerated tone .
“I've seen countless Steel Berserkers with insanely high Defense before . But this Judge guy? He's not like anything I've seen before . He was no Steel Berserker . This dude's basically a f*cking Steel Monster! That's so motherf*cking unreal!”
Judge, as recounted by Black God and Majestic Hero, weathered past wave after wave of Underworld creatures without killing them and charged right at a Spectral Shaman . One of the Tier 5 Berserkers was about to kill off some enemies at the back to hold them off from Judge…
However!
From the start of the battle, all Judge had to say to the Berserker was, “Don't kill the mobs . I still have use for them . ” Then, he ignored the latter completely .
After that, using the crowd of Underworld creatures, Judge was able to show the Berserker a valuable lesson…
Three hundred seconds!
Judge, dished out a series of endless attack combos and delivered a storm of strikes at the Spectral Shaman without taking a drop of Potion . The Shaman was beaten to death by his rain of combos, not having any chance to retaliate .
“Qin Ruo…” Black God said dejectedly .
“The others… that Black Rock… or that Violet Orchid… Well, I bet you know how they are . As for that Bandit, Fateless… that guy's indeed a motherf*cking Bandit! He actually single-handedly took down a Spectral Shaman . And he did it while surrounded by a crowd of Underworld Creatures too!”
“Just be honest with me . You ain't really that much of a looker in battle… and you haven't played this game for long too… how did you recruit this many insanely strong terrorists into your Clan?! Tell me!”
After hearing Black God's combo of complaints, Qin Ruo curiously replied after a long silence .
“Black God… are you jealous?”
