Fike quickly dismissed the girl's words, waving his hand.

“I'm not an accomplice of these thugs.”

The girl sized him up as she put away the blood-stained blade in her hands before turning to leave the city.

Seeing as the girl was not making things difficult for him, Fike did not say a word as he followed her, walking straight toward the city gates.

Suddenly, the girl turned around and looked at him.

“I sense that you seem to be much stronger than these local hooligans. Who exactly are you?”

“Okay, then let's go together.”

Fike sighed. Coming back to reality, he noticed the map in Sertia's hands.

“Fike, do you know where's the north?”

He stared blankly at the pretty girl in front of him, recalling her cold and heartless face back when he had first seen her.

He had not expected her to have such a terrible sense of direction.

“Come with me. We'll have to go through Miracle Forest first.”

A few days soon passed.

At the time, the sky was getting dark. Fike and Sertia had finally arrived at the southern entrance of Miracle Forest.
