Leveling up the Evil God Summing Scroll could be hard and easy at times. Players might find themselves in a situation where they were unable to level it up a single for a few months when it was difficult and would instantly level up 10 times when it was easy.

Li Yi ran around for seven hours until the sky gradually turned bright. His progress for the Evil God Summoning Scroll had successfully increased by 30%.

There would be new benefits whenever the scroll had reached a round number. Naturally, this time was without exception as well as another attribute had appeared on the scroll.

It was the Dark Resurrection Spell. Once it was cast, players were able to resurrect their partner and double their strength. The resurrection duration lasted for an hour and when the resurrected players would die afterward. Furthermore, the resurrected player would not be able to be resurrected with other skills afterward. The cooldown of the skill was 1 minute.

It was a dangerous Resurrection Spell. Although the resurrected target would gain a lot of power, he would immediately die on the spot once the duration was over and could not be resurrected with any other Resurrection Spell. This meant that… he could only choose to resurrect at the temple.

It was a gain and loss situation and was the most unique point about Dark Spells.

The next required item to level up the Evil God Summoning Scroll was the Level 11 medicinal ingredient called the Heavenly Flower. Since the Winged Ones City had yet been released and it was currently impossible to obtain the medicinal herb, he had no choice but to halt the summoning scroll's level progress temporarily.

The sky was bright. Jiaojiao and Qian'er had already gone out to train before Li Yi logged off the game as he rubbed his eyes and slept in his bed.

Although he had the Nourishment Chamber as well, he was not used to it and preferred to lie down in his bed.

Li Yi slept until night time and he might just as well continue sleeping if not for Jiaojiao running into his room and shake his head.

"Wake up you lazy worm. Something has happened, something big has happened."

Li Yi opened his eyes and pinched her small chests as he looked at Jiaojiao shaking her head while she held onto it.

Li Yi did not have the mood to sleep anymore after being shocked by her. He got out of the bed, washed his face and had some food before he slowly went back to his home and logged into the game.

Li Yi appeared at Starting Point City. The view around him remained the same and nothing was out of place.

Although Jiaojiao did not specifically mention what had happened in the game, Li Yi immediately knew what was going on as he looked at the World Channel.

Soon after he had logged out of the game, an anonymous and mysterious player had cleared a Hall of Fame quest, causing the Ancient King Series Dungeon's Sea God's Shrine[1].

Many players had dove into the sea to clear the dungeon since it was something new. Many players were still discussing this incident in the World Channel.

Li Yi was so angry that he messaged Jiaojiao, "Is your major incident referring to the release of the Sea God's Shrine?"

"Yeah. I heard that Ancient Weapons will drop there so I've already called Qian'er and the rest to rush over."

"You guys enjoy slowly then. I hope you all will obtain the Ancient Weapons as soon as possible."

"Tsk. Don't say the obvious."

Li Yi had lost his mood as he ended the call.

He did not have the slightest interest in the Sea God's Shrine Dungeon at all.

The Sea God's Shrine was almost the same as Deathwing in terms of difficulty but the items dropped from this dungeon were mostly trash. The best equipment dropped from this dungeon was merely the Ancient Weapons, which was no better than his Orange Quality Bow.

The drop rate was low and the difficulty was high. Furthermore, it did not require any pre-requisite as well. Was there any difference to try to clear that dungeon at all?

What Li Yi lacked right now was not the equipment but the methods to become God.

The level range for the Sea God's Shrine Dungeon was ridiculous, ranging from the lowest Level 90 to the highest Level 200. Hence, players who wished to gain more EXP now had another place to grind.

The very first dungeon was against the ocean clan of Naga and the boss was Naga Queen herself who was the mother of Fernando the Siren. A new Instance Dungeon would appear when players killed had killed her. The enemies would then turned into the Sea God's Legion and the Instance Dungeon would then skyrocketed from Level 90 to Level 200.

The legendary Sea God's Shrine Dungeon's final boss was the Sea God itself. However, the players in the past life had yet to reach that far before the Pantheon Mystery started.

"Order everyone to gather after two hours and tell them to be prepared."

Brother Windcloud Nine's voice could be heard from the Party Channel and the progress for Tower of Remorse remained the same. They were still at Floor 40 and there was still quite a distance from the final destination, Floor 100.

When players were promoted to the Superior Class, they would be able to obtain more power. However, Li Yi was not sure if that was a required step in order to become God as he was not God in his past life.

There was only one player who had truly promoted to God in his past life. That player was also the reason why information about the Wings of the Sky and Pantheon Mystery existed.

Aersith had yet to return and he was not sure if she had found a solution to the seal of the Four Major Elemental Shrines. However, Li Yi was not worried about it at all as not only he was not opposed to an all-out war against the Demonic Tribe, he was quite excited as well.

There was an all-out war against the Demons in his pat life. Some players were promoted to God during this time and they had entered the Divine War Era. Li Yi could still remember this even as if it happened just yesterday.

Another reason Li Yi did not mind an all-out war with the Demonic Tribe was because of Aersith.

According to Aersith, when the Four Major Elemental Shrine had been unsealed, Foreignland Gate would be forcefully shut. The Demonic Tribe would not be able to invade into Pantheon Continent then.

Li Yi was not at any loss if he was not able to fight any demon spawns. However, it was a devastating loss if he were not able to hire Aersith.

Li Yi finished the usual Construction Quest before he rushed towards the Tower of Remorse to meet up with Brother Windcloud Nine.

Three hours later, Jiaojiao and the rest who were challenging the Sea God's Shrine had been called over as well.

"The Sea God's Shrine was boring. The spawn doesn't drop anything and the boss only gives out weapon shards. To make it worse, it's extremely hard. Just challenging it once is enough."

Jiaojiao finally understood when he went to the Sea God's Shrine excitedly earlier.

"I've done the calculation earlier. If we need to collect 500 shards to make an Ancient Weapon, we'll have to spend at least a year to make an equipment." Qian'er shook her head. "It's a pointless dungeon. I'm never going again."

All twenty five players arrived and all the members were the same as last time. Even Dark God Empyrean South and Jiggly had arrived.

"Golden Eye is very difficult to deal with. I hope that all of you can press on and cooperate nicely. We can only kill this boss as long as we don't make any mistake."

Brother Windcloud Nine gave an opening speech before the battle and it was a thing many parties would do.

"The strategy is the same as last time. Now let's get into position."

Li Yi raised his hand.

Everyone looked at him strangely.

"I wish to increase everyone's strength by two folds, but the cost of doing so is quite serious. All of you will need to die once."

"We'll just die then. We'll die if we don't get boosted anyway. What's the big deal?"

"That's right. We'll do everything we can. We're not scared of dying at all."

Li Yi's opinion had gotten approval from everyone.

Li Yi nodded his head and ordered. "Alright then. Everyone please take off your equipment and find a partner and commits suicide once."

"Commit suicide?"

"Yes!"

"Me first. Killer, you're up."

Brother Windcloud Nine took off all of his armor and told Windcloud Killer who was closest to him to make the move.

Windcloud Killer moved behind Brother Nine and pulled off a beautiful combo.

Brother Windcloud Nine fell to the ground.

"Rise, o wandering soul. Return back. In the name of Evil God, I approve of your resurrection!"

Li Yi started chanting the curse as the two black lights shining at his hands flew towards Brother Windcloud NIne.

Brother Windcloud Nine stood back up. He, the Holy Paladin had a layer of ominous aura coating him. It was a sign of the Dark Resurrection Spell at work.

His attributes had been doubled as he was resurrected with the Dark Resurrection Spell!

Li Yi screamed loudly, "Next!"

Although the Dark Resurrection Spell's cooldown was 1 minute, Li Yi had equipped himself with the New Wind Sword. Now, he only needed 20 seconds to cast it again.

"I'm… I'm coming!"

Sister Windcloud Nine raised her hand shyly, but she did not take off her shirts. Instead, she threw away her staff and closed her eyes, waiting to die.

Windcloud Killer made his move again, but he did not move to her back. He used his dagger and stabbed SIster Windcloud Nine dozens of times to the chest and killed her.

"Why are we afraid of dying if we're going to live again? Let me have a go at it!"

"Me too!"

"Kill me!"

"Kill me first!"

The entire party was excited as all of them were willing to die.

Li Yi resurrected one after the other. Since the Dark Resurrection Spell's duration lasted a full hour, it was more than enough time to kill the entire party.

Out of the twenty-five players in the party, the other twenty-four players had died once other than Li Yi since he could not resurrect himself.

"We begin the battle in 1 minute. Let's buff up!"

Multiple lights shone as the party started buffing up.

Everyone's attribute had been increased by two-fold other than Li Yi. Take Brother Windcloud Nine as an example. His HP was close to 2,000,000 before he was resurrected with the Dark Resurrection Spell. Now, his HP was hovering around 3,000,000. It was not just his HP that had been increased, all of his attributes had been increased as well.

"I'm totally filled with power!"

"Haha, amazing."

"This buff is way too overpowered."

The party members felt that they had become superman as they would occasionally cheer.

Li Yi looked at the time and ordered Brother Windcloud Nine, "Main Tank, go!"

Brother Windcloud Nine then ran towards the Golden Eye.

The Golden Eye opened both of its eyes as a bright light blinded the entire tower.
