MIMI 100 Overworked

Arriving at her company early in the morning, Mimi was greeted by the figure of the young Emilia Yimo waiting for her by the front desk.

Seeing her, Mimi wasn't at all surprised. If anything, she expected to see her come back, just not so soon considering the girl's stubborn, spoilt attitude.

Mimi looked down at the bowing Emilia in front of her. Inwardly, she was giggling up a storm, but on the outside, she expressed nothing but an indecipherable expression.

"You'll work hard?"

Lifting her head up, Emilia looks at Mimi with bright, silver eyes.

"Yes! I'll work extremely hard!"

"You'll do everything you're told to do?"

"Yes!"

"You'll listen to Jean this time and ask her questions if you have any?"

"Yes!"

"You'll do anything for me?"

Detecting the alluring tone Mimi used to say the previous sentence, Emilia hesitated to answer – her face appearing squeamish and flushed.

Laughing, Mimi pats the girl's shoulder gently. "Don't look so serious, I was just joking with you." Mimi giggled.

Flushing red, Emilia nods her head lightly. Noticing her shy expression, a dark glint flashed within Mimi's eyes. Not holding back her devilish smirk, Mimi leans in close toward Emilia's exposed ear.

"Of course that is if you agree, I'd be very pleased to have you serve me."

Backing away quickly, Emilia places a hand by her ear and burns red with mortification.

"Y…You…"

Once again, Mimi breaks out into fits of laughter causing Emilia to shoot a frown in her direction.

"You have your job back. I hope to see good things from you, Emilia."

Watching Mimi's departing back, Emilia scowled but all the while she felt the previous massive weight on her chest ease. Lowering her head, a wide smile spread on her lips. Inwardly, the young girl was giving herself a self-victorious pat on the back.

All night she had reconstructed the words she would say to Andras when she arrived at the company. All night she repeated the same phrase over and over until she was no longer choking on her words.

Knowing she completed her task, she couldn't help but feel overjoyed as she quietly smirked to herself.

While Emilia was feeling proud of herself, Jean continued to stand on the side observing the girl's grinning expression – completely forgetting she was there.

Shaking her head, Jean sighs. At least she was being more cooperative.

For the next few days after Emilia listened to Jean's helpful tips and instructions, the young girl quickly started working. Although she was slow with completing her tasks, compared to before her work was considered efficient.

By the end of the week, Emilia was able to complete more and more tasks, and from Mimi's orders was given more jobs to complete – some even more advanced than before.

In the day time, Emilia would be racing around the company copying files and delivering documents to other departments.

At night, she would return home drained. When her father saw her in such a state, he couldn't help but worry.

When he asked if she wanted to take a break or ask for Andras to limit the work handed to her, Emilia's previous weary expression sharpened and she shook her head quickly.

With bright, firm eyes Emilia looked at her father and said: "No! I'm fine! Don't worry, I have everything under control!"

Shocked, Louis Yimo flashed his eyes for a few seconds as he processed the unfamiliar words coming out from his daughter's mouth. In the end, he sighed and wished his daughter the best of luck, not forgetting to advise her to take care of herself.

However, Emilia was too fixed in her tired thoughts to listen to her father as she walked toward her bedroom.

The following morning, Emilia arrived at work early looking refreshed and radiant. Yet upon a closer look could someone see the dark circles under her eyes that were carefully concealed by makeup.

Printing a set of copies, Emilia's eyes dazedly stared at the papers as they printed. Feeling herself swaying to the side, Emilia shook her head and snapped out of her dazed thoughts.

From the beginning, Emilia was unaware her actions were being watched from a small camera.

From inside her office, Mimi signed and read contracts while staring at the monitors from her phone. At first, the young girl was happily entertained by spying on all her employees, but after a while, the girl's playful, cheery expression changed to one of impassiveness.

Propping her chin with her palm, Mimi's eyes stared at the small screen silently – her eyes carefully inspecting it with an unreadable look. Her mouth set in a firm line as she observed Emilia's figure standing in front of the copier and dazedly staring at the printing papers.

A few minutes passed before Mimi stood up from her desk silently and walked out of her office. Those seeing her expression unaware of what was going on through her head.

After the set of files finish copying, Emilia collected them and neatly arranged them into neat stacks. Once she found them to look quite pleasing, Emilia smiled and walked back toward the office.

"Here you go."

"Thank you."

Having received the copied files, the woman smiled lightly at Emilia and nodded her head in thanks. For a moment, the woman's eyes stared at Emilia, a faint tilt in her head.

"Do you want to take a break for now? You've already completed so much today, taking a small break won't affect anyone."

Surprised by the kind gesture, Emilia struggled with the right words to say.

"Uh, no. I still have more to do."

"Are you sure? None of us mind if you take a break."

Without answering, Emilia lowered her head to hide her flushed cheeks and quickly turned around to complete more tasks. Yet upon turning around, Emilia suddenly felt a wave of dizziness took over her. Feeling her body stumble as she walked, Emilia's eyes became heavy.

"Ah!"

The woman seeing Emilia's body fall toward the floor released a startled gasp. Just as she was about to reach forward to grab her, another pair of arms gathered the girl's falling body toward them.

Surprised, the woman looked up only to stare wide-eyed at the attractive, godly figure.

His pair of emotionless black eyes glanced at the girl, carefully propping her body up in his arms. Seeing as Emilia had fainted, the man continued to support her in his arms with slightly furrowed brows.

Casually, the man looks at the woman, his intense cold eyes causing her skin to tingle under his gaze.

In a deep, husky voice, the man's thin scarlet lips parted. "Is Andras here?"
