"Damn it, shoot them back Petter!" Ned screamed furiously when he saw that one of his castle walls was destroyed, ignoring that purple mist a little.

Petter was also angry, since his house was made of wood, which was even more destroyed than Ned's castle, so he also took his machine gun and started shooting.

To their shock, as soon as they fired, the two opposing players started to build a ladder up!

"What are they doing?" Ned was confused as he looked at this ladder.

But soon he understood.

At the bottom of the stairs, the two opposing players were only with the tip of their heads out and with the beaks of their guns aiming and started shooting at Ned and Petter.

"Damn it, they did it to take advantage of HighGround!" Ned was furious and also took the magic paper around his waist and started building walls around it to defend himself.

But before any of the four died, the purple mist finally reached them, causing the two opposing players to ignore Ned and Petter and run back, while Ned and Petter felt their breathing getting heavier, and saw that the health bar of them was decreasing.

"Petter, this fog is poisoned, run!" Ned yelled as he broke into a run, leaving his castle behind.

Petter also understood this, but instead of running out of the mist, he went back to where they were before!

Ned was confused by what Petter was doing, but he trusted his friend and didn't ask any more questions as he continued to run.

Soon he heard an engine noise from behind, and in the driver's seat of a pickup truck was Petter, scared as he drove like a madman!

"Come in, Ned!" Petter gritou.

Ned didn't think twice and jumped into the truck bed, while holding a machine gun and looking for those two opponents.

His heart was beating so fast that he remembered the Hypixel war.

"The last time I felt so much adrenaline was when I saw Notch and Herobrine battle… damn, this is so much fun! Hahahaha!" Ned started laughing like a maniac in the back of the truck.

The livestream's comments were also shocked by what they were seeing.

The amount of viewers on Ned's live rose from 1.2 million to 2.6 million in a short time.

Not only on Ned's livestream, but on the other 50 livestreams of the participants invited by Alex the amount of viewers was also rising in an abnormal way!

Minecraft in total has doubled the amount of Viewers within minutes of launching the Fortnite beta.

News sites were reporting on Fortnite while pundits were analyzing this new game, trying to make sense of all the new things they were seeing.

Watching livestreams of players playing the Fortnite tutorial, Alex saw that the Hype was growing a lot.

The enemies the players were facing were bots that Alex made to show players that buildings can be used in battle to gain terrain advantage, both for cover and for a better view.

Thinking of those professionals who did several builds per second, Alex just shook his head.

Fortunately most of the players were having fun trying out Fortnite, only a few players got too scared and managed to die to the bots Alex made, even though he set the aim of these bots to be terrible, the players managed to be worse.

Reminding Alex of a famous quote from his previous world. "Don't doubt a player's ability to do shit."

Words that Alex considers very wise nowadays.

He also found out about the Fortnite invite auction, but he didn't worry about that, as it didn't matter to him who was playing tomorrow.

But while that didn't matter to him, Tony Stark managed to corner the auction on one of the tickets, while there was someone very important looking at one of the two tickets left over.

"Hill, keep an eye on the auction for this ticket and make sure you get one for us. As for the other one, just try your luck, if possible, get both, but we only need one." Nick Fury said seriously to Maria Hill, in front of him.

"Yes sir." Maria confirmed before leaving the office.

Fury intended to give the ticket to Clint Barton or Natasha Romanoff, as they were both great marksmen and were his best agents, who could guarantee the prize of the tournament tomorrow.

Seeing how this game worked, Fury had to admit that it looked pretty good for more than just fun.

"If I put my agents to train playing Fortnite every day for two hours, wouldn't that be the same thing as them participating in life and death battles every day? The improvement in each one's strength would be amazing..." Nick started to think on this and felt that his idea was increasingly plausible.

Unfortunately the Golden Apple studies were useless.

Whenever a scientist removed a part of the apple, after 5 seconds that part would dissolve and go back to the apple as if nothing had happened.

Even if a guinea pig ate the apple, within seconds it would reappear intact.

What made them realize that the apple had a connection with Clint was that he could summon the apple back, that is, everything indicated that only he could eat this Golden Apple and receive the benefits that it provided.

After some time of fruitless testing, SHIELD finally gave up on trying to replicate or clone this Golden Apple and decided to just study the results of eating it into Clint's body.

Luckily nothing went wrong, and the results proved that apple actually doubled his power!

Unfortunately for Nick, they failed to learn anything from studying Clint, making all that effort futile.

"Maybe with the rewards from these games we can make another Super Soldier?" Nick was surprised to think about it and remember Clint's strength.
