Hilda struggled a little to get up, she looked the same direction as Zhi Rui.

Zhi Rui turned to look at Hilda and at Izaya who was unconscious on the ground she already checked on Zhun Xuyin who was inside the carriage.

Zhi Rui cleaned the sweat on her forehead.

"Hilda loot the body and take Izaya to the carriage."

Looking plainly at the carriage Zhi Rui shook her head. "We don't."

At the sounds of footsteps approaching she did not explain further. "Xuying take the reigns."

Zhun Xuying forgot to questions as she stared at the state Izaya was on as Hilda carried him on her shoulder.

"Let's go".

"Y-yes young lady" Zhun Xuying climbed the carriage as everybody entered inside

they went away leaving the corpses to the debris

They were on the gates to enter the city, the guards approached Zhi Rui's carriage

Zhun Xuying felt her palms on the reign sweat her heart rate raised, Zhun Xuying held the reigns so tight her knuckles were white.

As the guard got closer, she puffed her chest forward and held her chin high.

the guard looked at the arrogant woman not saying a word. But before he could say something, another soldier patted his shoulder.

He found it strange, as his college motioned with his chin. he looked at the carriage again.

as broken as it was, the symbol of the Cheng family's crest was still visible.

"I'm sorry to bother miss please go ahead."

Zhun Xuying snorted and entered the city.

Passing through the gates Zhun Xuying saw several people looking inside the carriage.

Zhun Xuying kept forward without looking to the sides. After officially entering the city she finally breathed deeply in relief.

Now relaxed she stopped to think about how the soldiers did not say anything. She thought about the open carriage and the crest of the cheng family.

She got up abruptly so this is whats all about, the miss will use the generals to get rid of retaliation. 'Who would dare to demand anything from the general of the empire?!'

In the middle of the sweat and body odor Zhi Rui felt her body getting weak. She looked at her wounds, all healed. Closing her eyes she saw her core.

from red, it was turning pink, almost white.

Her conscience started to fade the smell the feeling of touch all started fading her eyes did not open anymore.

Hilda who was together inside looked around as the slaves started emitting a light red glow.

She distanced herself from them ," Zhun Xuying something is happening here. go faster!"

Zhun Xuying did not question it' she whipped the elk horses away in the brothel direction!!

Zhi Rui felt an enormous headache, she held her forehead. She felt a wet mattress beneath her and heard soft breathing beside her ear. she felt chains on her legs and arms.

With all her strength she started to squirm from side to side

" I WON'T BE CHAINED AGAIN!" she jumped up in fury.

jumped?, she looked to the side Zhun Xuying was sitting on a wooden chair staring at her with a frightened face.

Zhi Rui felt the wet clothes on herself, she closed her eyes and inhaled for five seconds exhaling right after, her eyelashes fluttered as she looked around herself.

The light was dim but she could still see they were in a brothel room she was on top of the bed. she looked out of the windows 'all dark'

She took one more breath and looked a the bed bellow. 'No chains'

her past still haunted her. even in this new body, she could feel the chain's friction on her skin.

She felt her muscle fatigue. exhaustly she lied down again. "Report"

Zhun Xuying saw the woman lie down and cleared her throat.

"Young miss, on the way back, the slaves started to produce a light red color on their body. After we reached the brothel, Hilda examined, it's certain, every mortal slave formed a core with a faint red color to them. we don't know why or how this happened."

Zhi Rui felt her heartbeat on her throat, she remembered the last thing she saw before losing her conscience. Immediately she closed her eyes

her core was a little pinkier then before but was still weak nonetheless.

'Must've been the blood I used to brand the slaves..'

She frowned "Xuying how long was that? and how is the actual situation?"

"Three hours ago, currently Izaya is the only one who woke up and is in another bedroom with his daughter. Hilda in the private saloon is observing the slaves.

"..."

Zhi Rui looked at the ceiling her eyes dazed.

'They know, at least they know it has relations with me, seeing how I used my blood to brand these slaves.'

Zhi Rui passed her finger through her hair and started scratching gently

'The information at their hands has too much power over me.'

Her hand moved roughly

'I can't slowly gain their trust anymore'

Her heart pumped strongly, her breathing got faster. her nail was almost cutting through her scalp

'Half the plans will have to change because of this.'

Zhi Rui stopped moving. and looked at Zhun Xuying

'Either I forcefully bound them to me now, or I kill them.'
