He saw through the flying splinters, Zhi Rui was awaiting with an arched back holding a heavy hammer oozing red, raw power. her muscles were visibly contracted, with the exception of her broken leg, Her whole body exuded absolute power.

His eyes contracted.

"HA!" Zhi Rui released her breath with a swing downwards. The air around the hammer burned.

Before he could react Zhi Rui had activated her second ability and stunned a soldier that was still around the carriage's vicinity.

Through the thread she linked on Cheng Feng, She transferred the emotions. For a fraction of a second, his eyes were frozen.

"Girlie, that was nice damage." He raised his open hand and his eyes shone bright golden. "Come down to papa!" He closed his hands hard

A golden shield crushed Zhi Rui down.

"I didn't show my last ability, right? Allow me."

From his hand, a blade of light the size of a two-handed long sword formed from his hands t was a blindingly white.

It looked like it could burn through everything.

As Zhi Rui fell he spoke, "This is the cheap skill given by the lights as a gift, like you, I prefer blunt damage but something like this... its nice for surprises."

Zhi Rui was coming down fast, there was nothing else she could do. she gritted her teeth and did the necessary.

She materialized her energy in front of her,

Her body tore through it, damaging herself and causing backlash for the broken ability, but it slowed her down.

Cheng Feng laughed and extended his sword upwards it extended two meters more, just enough to tore through Zhi Rui.

Her eyes burned with undying resentment.

She tried to stun him again but for some reasons, the soldiers were not alive anymore. She materialized her energy again.

And managed to direct the blade with her hands. it pierced her left lung. and traversed all the way out of her back.

The smell of burnt flesh came to her nostrils.

Cheng Feng looked with gusto as she coughed blood she lowered the blade and Zhi Rui that was pinned on it in front of him to his amazement she stood on her feet.

His smirked suddenly disappeared from his face. Zhi Rui's eyes became dark red, with triple the energy of before he didn't know how but her energy suddenly tripled in power and density.

Her hammer landed on her hand again. she had used her materialized energy to catch it and raise it high.

'To think you'd be a quick shooter today Izaya!' She thought

Cheng Feng trembled. He was resilient, but the damage he received was real, if anything similar to before landed on him it would take his life away.

He pulled his hand back and swung the blade of light towards her hand holding the hammer.

A weightless light blade is faster than a heavy hammer, that's common sense.

But his eyes widened in horror. The hand that was high in the air opened before the blade came and the hammer fell down on the other hand.

He was midswing and cut her empty forearms off.

Zhi Rui had her legs and was in a ready stance. the hammer came from the ground on an upwards swing. it would sweep him off his feet and finish to crush his innards without a doubt.

"SLUT!" He raged and swung his arm with the remaining energy left on him. "WE'RE BOTH GOING TO HELL!"

Both their attacks met. blood and meat splattered all over, like fireworks, bones meats and innards flew and covered everything. Around them

He was wearing white and black armor. holding a grim looking book on his arm. She couldn't feel his presence.

He walked forward and stepped on Cheng Feng's body.

His eyes were black as the lightless night. Nothing reflected on it.

Zhi Rui, with half of her bones broken, missing an arm and covered in gore, couldn't help but have her heart fluttering with butterflies at the sight of Zheng Li

'He looks like a knight of death.'

From underneath his feet, black shadows gathered on the body of Cheng Feng.

"You lived like you wanted father, now, even though I find you pathetic, I still have use for you as my first real servant." Zheng Li said.

He took his feet off and Cheng Feng stood up as an undead.

Zhi Rui looked around and the soldiers that followed Cheng Feng were now simple brainless undead.

Zheng Li waved his hand, with the exception of Cheng Feng, they all fell down.

She understood now where the three bodies came from.

She looked at him with trembling, almost tearing eyes

"Why?" She asked.
