Zhi Rui smiled, her eyes closed, completely focused on the entity inside the stele.

"Your precious pureblood is being spilled to keep you awake. if you stall, he'll die to form the loss of blood. And the purest person to be born on your people in ages will lose his life." Zhi Rui said darkly

The golden conscience suddenly stopped being agitated and it seemed to be focusing on something else.

Zhi Rui assumed it was Rubble's blood being continuously spilled.

Staring at her deep green eyes, the old man felt a chill down his spine.

He was a level two like Zhi Rui but his strength was nowhere near. his struggle amounted to nothing.

Feeling it was enough energy condensed Zhi Rui shoved his head on the stele

Materializing ladder-like steps on the air with her energy. Zhi Rui went up the top of the three-meter stele cut his neck and let the blood flow down on the sandy surface.

Zhi Rui could feel the golden thing's excitement, while it absorbed the blood.

She stopped Rubble's bleeding and threw him to stand beside his injured sister.

Feeling both of them were completely out of it. Zhi Rui focused back on the stele.

In the pagoda, Zhi Rui traped the remnant spirit of the disciple of the chaste church and stripped its consciousness away. She had to take one of the pills Bianca gave her when they first met, to maximize her lust and have enough to erode the conscience inside of the soul Remnant.

But now, she's stronger, and the consciousness on the stele has the conditions of absorbing blood to stay awake

'It wants to go out, kill me and go back to the stele.' Zhi Rui thought.

The old man's blood kept flowing down.

Zhi Rui watched as it disappeared on the surface of the stele.

Five minutes of gushing blood, Zhi Rui finally saw it stopping.

The stele shone with blinding light.

She closed her eyes.

It burned. She could feel it as if it were real.

The attack hadn't faded but seeing Zhi Rui running freely. was enough for the golden ball of energy to shot back toward the stele.

But Zhi Rui laughed, her eyes grew red. he bolted forward crushing her impulse leg

A hand away from the stele Zhi Rui grabbed it between her fingers.

She pulled it, her hand was burning but she just stared at it with a wide savage smiling showing her canines.

She brought it to her chest to crush it' will Zhi Rui needed to put it inside her core.

Without struggle, it entered.

"Now with you trapped inside me lets negotiate old thing." Zhi Rui said.

(HAHA, of course, little baby!) The loud sound of a husky voice assaulted her mind.

Zhi Rui cringed her back and held her temple. Her knees buckled down on the ground and cold sweat started dripping down on the ground.

She held her head as if her skull was splitting apart.

She arched her head back and opened her mouth in a soundless airless scream.

(HaHa, little girl, today isn't your day, everything is again you. you really thought that someone of the original bloodline would be done in by a thing like you!? You underestimate the old! A Soulless body is threatening but once you put me inside then that' just giving me a new body girl!)

Her whole body' muscles were being torn apart. The golden energy spread throughout her body.

forcefully she snapped her eyes open. She could feel it slowly eroding her own mind. All her energy was enveloping it but the bright gold kept siping through slowly eating her mind away.

All the veins on her body bulged.

"I'm gone," She thought "My conscience, the last of my being. will cease to be."

"NO!" Her wide eyes stared nowhere. Suddenly her jaw muscles forcefully opened. She cackled, facing the extreme pain and barely moving her constricted muscles Zhi Rui laughed.

"If I cannot keep him trapped. then... I'll consume him!"

A brutal excruciating pain assaulted her whole body as she completely gave up the defense and attacked it. The bright light attacked more. zhi Rui' iris turned lightly golden, but her face was still smiling.

The red energy engulfed the bright gold.

The conscience inside of it furiously attacked Zhi Rui body and let itself open.

Zhi Rui fell to the ground with wide eyes forming a pool of alive next to her mouth.

Her body twitched intensely.

The siblings were unconscious the body of the old steward still laid still on the stele. The only sound on the cold room was Zhi Rui's struggle.

Blood sipped out of her eyes and mouth.

The golden energy and the red fought while crushing the body they were in.

A few strands of hair turned to gold.

Step echoed through the silent room.

Zhi Rui barely registered it.

A woman with orange eyes wearing a green robe walked up to Zhi Rui.

She looked on with pity.

"Poor child, give in. There's nothing in life that's worth that kind of struggle. Even if you somehow win, I'll still have to kill you." The woman said and sighed.

"Even though he loves you, envy won't allow him to admit it to himself. So if he cannot have you. then others shouldn't."

The woman said.

She sighed lightly crouched down as rested her hand on Zhi Rui's face.

"I'll relieve you of the burden of life."
