'NOAH! OPEN THE DAMN THING NOW BEFORE I—' she started yelling in his mind, but stopped once she felt Noah's attitude change entirely.

'Lilith... just... what in the world are you?'

Lilith was taken aback by the coldness in Noah's voice, but she didn't quite understand why, until she tried to look at his face, slithering out of the armor, and noticed time had somehow seemed to stop.

Lilith had gotten incredibly angry at being ignored, but this was not something she had the power of doing, she thought, and them the realization hit her. She knew she could have done this.

"I... I'm guessing I made a barrier around us accidentally," she said, which made Noah shiver and look down. "What?" she asked, stunned, because Noah was frozen, looking down towards his shoulder, where she had emerged from his armor.

"Lilith, you're speaking." Noah's words made her realize that she was not talking to him through telepathy right now, but instead, using her own voice, somehow projecting it through the mouth of the snake she was.

'This is important, I need to check this out,' Noah thought, opening Lilith's status to clear both of their's confusion about all that was happening. What had just happened and why did Lilith remember things?

For the first time ever, Noah saw an error message on the information displayed by the flames. But before that, he had clearly seen some of the titles and her name. Noah knew she was not just a snake he'd found. He knew there was something connecting the two of them, even more so after Bel showed up, but this was on a level he had not dared imagine.

"Noah, something's coming," Lilith said, for the first time letting him hear genuine fear in her voice, despite her remembering even more than before, which should've made her even more prideful... And that made Noah tense up.

And reality itself seemed to crack, as a blinding light poured from that crack.

"Snake of Damnation, what are you doing in this realm? Hell should not be able to interfere here, where's the Serpent of Sin?" A voice that sounded like two people talking at once came from the light, and Noah struggled to even open his eyes, only able to see a sillouette with wings.

"I don't know what you're talking about!" Lilith yelled back at it, angrily.

"What? Why is there a human here? The Lord cannot spare power to deal with humans. Be warned, human, do not trust the Snake of Damnation. Nothing good comes from defiance. It seems the Serpent of Sin has started moving... I'll take my leave. Snake, do not interfere with human life, the stakes are too high for you to meddle, this is a warning."

Noah was stuck in silence, unable to move. And the crack in reality fixed itself, erasign with it the barrier Lilith had put up which somehow stopped time.

'Hiiiiaaaa!' An abhorent scream of pain echoed in Noah's mind.

'Lilith?! Lilith?' Noah put his hand on his shoulder, pulling the now much larger snake onto his hands and using his flames to heal her.

"Noah? What happened?" the healer looked to his side seeing the desperation in his eyes as he used his flames to heal the snake. "What happened to her? Wasn't everything alright a second ago?" she asked, starting to use her own blessing to heal the snake in Noah's hands.

The screaming stopped, being replaced by pained moans, which also slowly subsided.

"Noah, is something the matter? What happened to your snake? Michael loomed towards them, seeing the two use their blessings on Lilith.

"I don't really know either, she was okay and then she started—" Noah explained to him a half-baked version of what he thought they saw happening, but interrupted himself as he heard Lilith's voice

'Noah, I'm feeling better now, it was just my head hurting,' she said, but her voice was clearly still pained.

'No, wait a little more, and then I'll accept you're okay. You can tell me later,' he responded her.

"Oh, sorry, I think she's feeling a bit better," he told them, hearign his phone ring. It was Carlos. "Yeah?" he said, picking it up.

[Noah, is everything okay? Are you okay?] Carlos' voice was distraught, making Noah stand up.

"Carlos? What's going on? Are the kids ok?" He asked back, turning around and putting Lilith on the couch he was sitting on, now realizing how much larger the tiny black snake had just become, her width now quickly approaching that of the small healer's wrist.

[Yeah, everything's fine, but Bell is desperate, yelling about you and his mom being in grave danger or something, so I had to call to make sure. Can you calm him down a little?] Noah frowned upon hearing this. He knew something major had happened, but for the disturbance to have been felt by Bell all the way home... was not something he had expected at all.

"Sure, give him the phone," Noah said while sitting back down, relaxing a little, and putting Lilith comfortably around his neck. "What happened little man?" he asked, as he heard the sound of fumbling coming from the other side of the line.

[Noah! Noah! Are you okay? Is mom okay? Is everything ok?] Noah felt a bit angry hearing him talk like this, the desperation and pain in his words as easy to read.

"Yeah, we just had a little scare, but everything's ok now," Noah downplayed, trying to calm him down, which in turn made the boy angrier.

[Little scare my ass! I felt the presence of an angel! A Seraphim at that! With our current power you two could've turned into dust instantly! And mom is nowhere near as powerful as she used to be, what the hell happened?] Noah ruminated on his words in silence, staring at the snake laying over him without much evergy, unlike her usual self.

'Maybe something serious happened to her, I need to go now!' Noah thought, before answering him.

"Everything's alright, but maybe something happened to your mom. I'm going straight to where you are, should arrive in half an hour," Noah said, not waiting for his answer before dropping the call. 'Lilith, are you feeling any better?' he asked her, to decide what would happen next and how he would say so to the 14 blessed staring at him, most worried.

"Yeah... but my head's still a bit hazy. We better go home already, your sister is probably worried," she said slithering towards his hand. "Oh, and thank your healer friend for trying that hard for you. Even though her blessing can't phisically heal me, I feel like it has some kind of relaxing effect," Lilith slid down his arm and rested her head on his palm, letting him pet her by sliding his hand over the length of her body.

"E—excuse me?" Noah heart the familiar voice from the side, clearly Sha's. "Did you snake just talk?"

Noah turned to her quickly, seeing a wide-eyed mage staring at Lilith intently.

"Oh, yeah, she finally recovered her hability to speak," Noah told her, not worried despite her being clearly very surprised. After all, it was impossible to communicate with monsters. "Sorry, but I think I won't be able to take you home this time. I really need to go now. One of the kids at home is very worried about his mom, and my sister is probably nervous from him being like that. I really need to go now," he said, turning towards Michael who was now just a feet from him.

"On my part, you can leave any time. It's a shame you'll lose our celebration, but I'm looking forward to next time we join each other for a dungeon," Michael said, extending his hand, which Noah shook.

"Thanks, man. I'll be taking my leave then. Thank you guys for everything, the food, the fighting and the Essence. You guys were awesome today," Noah said, earning slimes and waves from the other blessed. To his side, he could see the female healer was sulking a little. He didn't know why, but guessed it was because of his leaving. "Hey, Sha, can I have your fone for a second?" he asked, and the girl turned around to grab it and gave it to him without a sound.

"There. I put my number and chat account in. I'll take you out for dinner for helping me and my Lilith. She even praised you, which is not very common at all," he told the blushing girl as he handed her the phone back. But she said nothing to him, and he thought, 'Maybe she's angry at me for not taking her home.'

He was completely unnarawe of the storm of thoughts and emotions in the girls head, which were all thanks to him and how uncommon everything around him was.
