Lucifer's Descendant System Chapter 311

"HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO MY YOUNG MASTER?!" the man screamed, yelling towards the sky and holding his shield and sword up.

'Did he go insane?' Noah asked himself, as he saw the man go berserk and run towards him while yelling like a mad man. He was waiting for him to use his blessing somehow, but the man just charged at him with his shield, not repeating the charge that had pierced through his flames. Questioning whether it was a trap, Noah teleported away, to the opposite side of the dome, and watched as the man slashed through the air, before looking around for him without turning back with an air of insanity.

'Congratulations, you broke him,' Lilith's voice echoed in his mind as he stared at the shield blessed finally turn around, something clearly wrong with him.

"Now's not the time for jokes. That guy's far stronger than I am," he muttered, lowering his stance once again as he saw the shield blessed shake his and lean forward behind his shield, ready to charge at him once again.

'I'm not joking. Don't think you didn't hurt him just because the armor doesn't look that damaged, remember there's a person inside it. Also, this place is very hot for a person already.' Lilith's words were clealy on the right track, but Noah couldn't help but think she was underestimating the enemy. He'd seen how powerful this man's shield blessing was. And above all, he feared he was not strong enough to take it as he was now.

'This guy is not the same as the one from before, and since he lost all fear of death, he'll fight to the bitter end regardless of pain. He's the worst kind of enemy,' he relayed back to Lilith, as his eyes met with the blessed's crazed eyes.

"Why did you take him from me?!" Noah was taken aback by the serious yell that came from the man's mouth as he started running towards him.

"Excuse me?" he froze for a second, weirded out by the innuendos.

"He was everything to me! Why did you take him from me?!" While Noah was still frozen in confusion, the blessed charged at him, the shield extended in front of him.

'Noah, careful!' Lilith's mental scream broke him from his confusion, but it was already too late to use [Hell Tunneling]

"Shit!" Noah blurted out as he saw the blessed's sword swing from behind the shield, using him fire dagger to block the swing. But instead of blocking, he was launched sideways, across the dome. 'He didn't even use his shield blessing, how can pack so much of a punch. Was that blessed before just a show-off?' he questioned the reality of his previous battle, where he had defeated the B-Rank Blessed who was also the leader of this time's enemies, all while flying through the air before landing safely just a handful of feet from where he was standing. "Damn, you swing is absurd, my hands are numb..." Noah muttered as he rolled the dagger around in his hand.

"What use is there to this strength is my Young Master is not here to witness it..." the blessed stammered forward, almost like a living dead.

"Did you hear that?!" But what surprised Noah the most was that he was able to hear his pointless muttering. Noah was also surprised that he was even able to defend such an absurd strenght, but his eyes were pulled to the boxes in the edge of his vision he had not yuet read.

'I see... that's how I did it...' he realized his dumb luck had saved him once again. 'I wonder if I'll be able to absorb a decent skill of his, or if it'll be the same as last time,' he mulled in anticipation, wondering whether he'd absorb the misterious regeneration or the actual sword blessing this time around. After all, last time he got the poison instead of the foothold blessing he yearned for. 'The creation skill!' something clicked in his mind, as he realized he'd completely forgotten how versatile the skill was.

'You better not think of using the creation skill against him like that. Cheap tricks won't work on that guy,' but an unwelcomed rebuttal came without any request for it.

"Damn it! Wasn't it you who said I could beat him?!" Noah complained out loud, not thinking about his surroundings.

"Who are you talking to?! I am here longing for my Young Master, yet you defile his memory!" Noah's dead-pan face cracked for the first time in this fight, as he furrowed his brows confusedly.

"Are you... nevermind," he tried thinking but decided to just let it be. This man was just too broken for him to reason with.

"Stop fighting like a coward and face me with a sword, like a man!" But the shield blessed's words made him clench his fists in frustration.

"Say that again," he asked, pouring flames into his dagger, and making it grow in length to that of a shortsword.

"Oh! It got bigger! I knew you had it in you to become a real man instead of a wuss! I will avenge my Young Master!" Noah saw the derranged behavior in the shield blessed's eyes vanish in an instant, and his former seriousness return.

'Why does he have to make everything sound sexual?' Noah thought to himself, brushing the thought aside.

'The problem is probably in you, rather than him. You know that, right?' Lilith's remark made him clench his fists and puff out in anger, contrarying his normal self.

"Try it! I'll serve you the same end, plated in pain!" Noah yelled, pouring his anger towards Lilith onto the closest target. Noah teleported halfway across the distance between them, shrinking the dome in the process while pouring mana into the flames.

'Noah! This is dangerous!'

'Fuck it! And fuck you too!' he shot at Lilith, casting aside all his doubt and fear, as he made the fire blade in his hands vanish.

"Did you finally give up your life? I will take it gladly, as a memento to my Young Master," the shield blessed said, lowerin his stance, though, as Noah quickly thought, he made no mention of attacking yet.

'He did not use his shield blessing once... could it be?' Noah thought, a sadistic smile forming on the corner of his lip as he walked towards the sword that was embedded in the middle of the fiery place, where the ground now started to faintly glow red. "Nah, I figured this was a great tool to end your life," he said, pulling the Hyu Family leader's sword from the floor.

"How dare you! You dare to dirty my master's sword with your hands?!" the blessed yelled, charging at Noah, clearly pissed off. Yet, this only made Noah more certain of what he was doing.

'Noah! What are you even doing! Fight him normally!' Lilith yelled at him, worried. 'What are you gonna do if you get injured? Think about your sister!' Lilith's words were sound, but they were not enough to shake his conviction, not now.

'Don't worry about it. Everything will be fine,' he told her, watching as the man ran towards him at full march. Yet, still not using his powerful shield blessing. Noah couldn't hold himself from grinning. This was too much of a gift too him, though he was starting to feel the heat from the ground on his feet. 'Though I am immune to my flames, I still am not completely immune to the changes they bring to the environment. I need to be more careful from now on,' he though to himself as he jumped forwards, vastly decreasing the time before the two powerhouses clashed. Lilith was worried senseless, but Noah knew she was saving her last use of her power for a critical moment, and he trusted her capacity to judge if he ever needed it. But he was all to certain.

A loud explosion rang throughout the venue, coming from the fire dome where the main fight was happening, away from the curious eyes of all the public. The battle had grown to a standstill, as many of Noah's companions became exhausted.

{Just what on earth could be happening in there to produce this much pressure?! Tixinha, this is something that never has happened in this Arena. To think so many strange happenings would take place in a single fight!}

A pair of well known voices had taken over as the former host had passed out somewhere in the middle of the battle.

The two were definitely way too excited after being invited.. Enough to not notice the fear in the eyes of every single blessed on that arena, as they stared blankly to the dome where the sudden blastwave had come from.
