"Lilith?!?!" The boy yelled with an expression of genuine happiness.

As a basic instinct Noah had, after practicing for so many years reading micro facial expressions, he instinctively read Bel's face and noticed that the boy was genuinely happy. Mainly, it was characterized by the small wrinkles at the outer corners of his eyes, slightly upturned cheeks, and tightness in the muscles around the eyes. This perfectly characterized an expression of genuine happiness. People who forced expressions of happiness usually could not perfectly mimic these three factors that humans do unconsciously, but Bel in front of Noah was genuinely happy as he looked at the little "bracelet" around Noah's wrist.

In the previous battle, Lilith hadn't been able to use her ability to immobilize the opponent even once, mainly because of the difference in strength between them. Unfortunately, she didn't get as much exp as Noah after a battle, so holding a Rank D opponent was currently the limit for her, maybe perhaps holding a Rank C opponent who had just evolved. But trying to control a blessed Rank C with Agility as high as Shadow S had, was practically impossible. So she just remained wrapped around Noah's wrist to avoid getting hurt during the battle, as she always did. But who knew that when she entered that bunker to meet the young boy of whom Carlos spoke, she would be recognized by this young demon?

"Sorry but do you know me?" Lilith unwrapped herself from Noah's wrist and lifted her little black head and looked at the young man curiously.

This surprised the other people even more. These past few days they'd always seen Noah walking around with a black bracelet everywhere, even wearing it over his fire armor, but they just thought it was some kind of bracelet he got from some Fortress, but who knew this 'bracelet' was actually a small snake?! Unfortunately they only heard the snake hiss, as they couldn't understand the demonic language, but if they knew that this snake could actually understand them perfectly, with a higher intelligence than most humans, they would be even more scared.

"Of course I do! How could I forget about my own mother?" Bel replied with an even more obvious smile. But what he said left people around even more surprised.

Noah even saw an odd look Carlos was giving him as he divided his gaze between Noah and the snake on his little wrist as he related to what the little boy had said.

"Mother? You mean Lilith is your mother?" Noah asked puzzled.

"Yes, my mom is Lilith and my dad is Lucifer. I followed that boy by smelling my dad in him, but seeing you two together I can finally understand everything now. You really are my dad, aren't you?" The boy looked at Noah with that previous look again, but now even more intense.

Just by his look Noah could understand that the relationship of this family was a little chaotic. After all, fear, anxiety, worry, anger, and different kinds of feelings could be easily read on this boy's face.

"I'm sorry boy, but I don't have my memories anymore. I don't remember you…" Lilith replied in a slightly sad tone, which caused the boy's expression to crumble.

"I'm not sure I'm the Lucifer you imagine me to be, but like I told you, we can get to know each other and understand all this." Noah gave the same answer he had given earlier. He knew he needed to soothe this little boy, who already had a little wet mist around his eyes to the point where he was almost crying in front of them.

Hearing that Noah once again didn't want to turn him away, the sadness Bel felt at hearing that his 'parents' didn't even know who he was was eased a little.

Once again he demonstrated the attitude of a noble little boy and successfully managed to quell the conflicting emotions he had in his chest, keeping them to himself only.

Only Noah had noticed the small expression changes that young Bel had made, so only he knew that there was a much deeper hole in this story that he needed to deal with in the future.

But for now he couldn't do that. After all, there was still an assassin coming after them, and worse, there was still someone willing to spend a lot of money trying to get rid of Carlos' parents to the point of paying this assassin a lot of money.

Lilith unwrapped herself from Noah's arm and moved to Bel's arm. Apparently she too had noticed Bel's feelings and worried about him. As they left to talk, Noah walked over to Carlos and his family.

"Thank you so much Noah. Who knew that the young boy who often stayed at our place would become such a powerful Blessed some day?" Carlos' father gave Noah a big bear hug, not trying to hide his pride in his son's friend.

"Yes, the little boy we helped take care of has become a strong and trustworthy man. I feel better knowing that Carlos now also has a powerful brother who can help him on the Blessed path." Carlos' mother also hugged Noah after her husband released the young man.

"You embarrass me, uncle and aunt. I've only improved a little. Even compared to Carlos' progress I'm a little slower, but you can be sure that one day we will invade more powerful Fortresses together, and I promise to take care of Carlos with my life," Noah swore with a solemn expression.

He was a great supplier, always delivering the materials ahead of schedule, but the unbridled greed he had made me give up on our cooperation, which made him lose big profits every year, shifting our former relationship from friendship to a deep hatred he felt for me. Eventually it got to the point of him deliberately sending spies into my security force to always stay by my side and try to get rid of me at any opportunity, or find an opportunity to do me harm.

Among the Blessed Ones who went to the Fortress with Carlos, there was one of his spies who had joined them without us knowing, which made that man's greed surface and he wanted young Bel for himself, probably so he could carry out some experiments after learning that Carlos was able to communicate with a 'humanoid monster', and perhaps unearth some hidden secret that could bring him great profits," Carlos' father replied with a little regret.
