Noah's eyebrows were furrowed. The red Corvette accompanied him to the hotel parking lot, which made his doubts even more intense.

'Definitely this person is either looking for a fight, or he also came to the championship and this is just a coincidence,' Noah thought as he opened the car door and left with his sunglasses on, looking at the Corvette prepared for whatever was coming.

Fortunately, the person who came out of the Corvette made Noah laugh. "Hahaha, I can't believe it was you Marcel!"

Marcel had just gotten out of his car and looked at Noah with his jaw dropped. "I can't believe it was you all this time... I tried so hard to overtake you on the way here! I was already getting mad at the driver of this damn DBS, but who knew it would be you Noah?! When did you buy the car? As far as I can remember, the last time we saw each other was at that Rank D Fortress, and at the time you didn't even have a car to drive, let alone an Aston Martin DBS!"

"Hahaha, some things happened. I was fortunate that a son from a wealthy family owed me something, and as payment I received this beauty. What do you think?" Noah said as he stroked his car. At first he just liked the car because it was beautiful, but in that short acceleration he took with Marcel on the road, he truly came to love the car. No matter what he did, the car responded just as he imagined, giving a feeling of comfort and security that he didn't even think was possible at such high speeds. Not to mention the fun it was to drive a car like this.

"What do I think? Man, I was so proud of my Corvette. He had never lost to any of my friends' cars... but against your DBS, I couldn't even get close. And it still gave me the impression that you weren't even accelerating as fast as you could with the car!" Marcel exclaimed as he approached Noah and started to watch the car.

"Yes, it reaches 400 km / h," Noah replied, which made Marcel look back at him with an expression of disbelief.

"Dude, my car reaches 350 km / h and I was already thinking that the car would fly. How does yours reach 400 km / h and has so much stability?" Marcel asked.

Noah answered, generating another question from Marcel, and then another, and another, until they got tired of being in the hot sun of that parking lot and picked up their bags and headed inside the hotel together.

"I didn't ask, but why are you here? I didn't know you played Valorwatch," Noah commented as he looked doubtfully at Marcel.

Marcel looked at Noah and replied with a proud smile. "My family won't let me participate in this, so I don't get distracted, but an acquaintance of mine is participating, so I decide to come cheer for him. I took a few days off from the Fortress invasions for that."

"Ohh, by your proud smile, does it look like your acquaintance has a high chance of winning the championship?" Noah asked curiously.

"I didn't want to brag, but I'm pretty sure his team will win. Tonight we're going to go out to some bar around here. Why don't you come with us?" Marcel invited him.

"Hmm, it seems like a tempting proposition. Can I call my teammates?" Noah asked. After all, it would be weird on the eve of the championship for him to go out with people from another team and leave his teammates alone.

Hearing this, Marcel finally realized what Noah was saying and asked in amazement. "Dude, are you going to participate?! Holy shit... my acquaintance may not have as much chance as I imagined... Anyway, if your teammates want to go, everyone is welcome."

Noah laughed a little at his reaction. With the time they spent together, with Noah, Jasper and Marcel being the three youngest members of their invasion team, it resulted in their friendship developing more than with the other Blessed despite everyone talking and having fun with each other regardless of age.

Marcel, who before seemed to be a serious and focused person for Noah, after their friendship solidified Noah realized that Marcel was very friendly, and only had that aura of a leader during the invasions. Outside the Fortresses Marcel was almost as fun and playful as Jasper.

"Great, I'll tell them and send you a message in the evening. How about it?" Noah asked.

"It's fine with me. I have an appointment now in the morning, so much so that that was even one of the reasons why I was coming in such a hurry haha, so we'll see each other tonight, maybe? Perhaps even more later on?" Marcel said as he waved and went to his own room that he had made the reservation.

Noah also went to his own room, and it so happened that the moment he sat on the bed to rest, a message arrived on his cell phone.

{Noah, I just arrived with Mateo and Kevin, James will probably arrive only later. Have you arrived yet?} - Carlos.

{Yes, I'm in my room right now, are you planning on doing something?} - Noah.

{We are hungry for the trip, how about we go to lunch together? There are some good restaurants nearby, better than the hotel's restaurant.} - Carlos.

{Okay, take your bags up to the room in the meantime, I'll wash my face and come down in a few minutes, we'll meet in the lobby.} - Noah

Noah was a little tired of watching the road for so many hours. The distance he traveled on the highway was sometimes greater than the distance he traveled on the urban perimeter, but because of traffic and traffic lights all the time, Noah spent several times more time on these small stretches than on the big road he traveled on the highway, because of the speed difference and not having to stop all the time.

He had left the house early in the morning, driving all morning had left him mentally and physically tired. His idea was to take a nap in his room for a while until the boys arrived, but since they were going to have lunch, Noah felt a little hungry and also decided to go with them.

When he arrived in the lobby, Carlos, Mateo, and Kevin were already there, talking and laughing, despite the tired expression on their faces.

Noah waved at them, which made them see him coming and wave back.

"Sup Noah," Kevin said.

"Yo Noah," Mateo waved.

Noah greeted the three and they walked to a nearby restaurant.

Because they were in a hotel sector, restaurants were something that were not lacking in proximity, even allowing them to have a choice of what style of food they would want to eat.

Noah had nothing particular in mind. His favorite dish was French Fries, and as he knew that every restaurant would have French Fries for him, Noah let the boys choose.

Finally, they decided to go to a restaurant specialized in pasta, since Carlos and Kevin really wanted to eat a type of pasta that they had in that place.

Noah just shrugged and went in with them, as did Mateo, who had no choice but to accept eating a pasta dish too.

They thought that going to the restaurant would be just about them talking, having fun, and maybe even drinking a little, but when they walked in there, they heard someone saying something that caught their attention.

"... Lucifer!"

Hearing this, Noah thought that someone might even have recognized him for some reason, and was pointing at himself, but when he realized that this was a conversation between a group of 5 at a table, he was even more curious, as he couldn't understand why these people were talking about him right now.

His teammates were also curious about this and chose a table near this group to try to eavesdrop on their conversation, in consensus, since they knew that if the group was talking about Lucifer, their chance of being mentioned also existed, and they wanted to hear other people talking about each of them.
