The man had a triumphant smile on his face, as if he had already won the match, and Noah was starting to believe that this was, in fact, possible. If the man was actually in as good of a situation he was physically demonstrating, he would definitely have the strength to finish off Noah at any moment, since now Noah might not even have the strength to think fast enough to understand the trajectory of the man's attacks and dodge them, much less counterattack after successfully dodging. Noah wasn't even sure he would succeed if he tried to dodge those skills.

As the blinding light danced around the man, around Noah the flames of hell were likewise dancing. The temperature in the arena had risen by such a degree that people in the front rows of the audience had to move away so as not to start feeling themselves begin to cook. The judge was sweating so profusely that the tournament administrators began to worry that he was going to get dehydrated.

This type of two-man battle between two people at the peak of strength for this city was not something seen here in person for years. The only way to see something like this was over the internet, since in larger cities, which had thousands of Blessed Rank Cs, people there could afford to hire two Blessed Ones of even this caliber to fight.

Even though the city Eyrin had millions of inhabitants, the general population was weaker, since the few Blessed who awakened powerful Blessings were besieged by mountains of money by people from larger and wealthier cities. This meant that the few such Blessed Ones who remained, did it for some other reason besides money, but normally those reasons weren't great enough to keep Blessed Rank B in the city.

So seeing two Blessed in a Rank C fight, made the spectators amazed. Never in the entire history of the fight club did they have two Rank C fighters appear on the same day. There were only a few times where they were lucky enough to witness a Rank C fighter, but aside from that having happened less than four times, they never happened to have more than one on the same day.

At that point, while the two faced each other, with the man's light shining around him and Noah's flames circling him and absorbing as much energy as possible, the man once again decided to speak.

"You are exactly who I was looking for, hehe... I was instructed by the priest to look for someone with just and evil flames. At first I didn't understand what he meant by that, as it didn't make sense to me, but fighting against you made me understand completely... What a pity that we are not in the sunlight and this room is so poorly lit; that way we could have had more fun," the man said, as his bright eyes stared at Noah, which made a beautiful contrast to the black skin he had.

Noah, on the other hand, had black hair waving from the slight wind caused by the conflict of their two Blessings, which contrasted well with the white skin he had. He turned to face the man before asking, "Why is your priest looking for me?"

Hearing Noah's question, the man broke into a small smile and answered, "He just told me that our people should be grateful to his God, and he predicted that something bad would happen. So he sent me to get the one with the odd flames. The rest I will tell you in a more... private place," he said as he looked around to indicate to Noah that it was not something that could be said in front of strangers, as they were now.

This made Noah completely change. Initially he believed the man was here because he was "Lucifer" in Valorwatch. After all, that was how everyone on the internet knew him, and that was what he was called in the comments of live chats that he participated in, well, that and "devil". But from what the man said, in fact, the reason he was searching for Noah had nothing to do with Valorwatch, but for the Blessing he had, and possibly who gave it to him.

Seeing that the man had a Blessing of light, Noah, with the mania of wanting to understand everything, began to think about several possibilities.

'Blessings of light are usually given to people who wish to have healing abilities. It is very rare to see one Blessed with a Light Blessing focused on attack, which greatly limits the scope of gods who may have Blessed him. At the moment it will be difficult to discover who this god is, not to mention that he will probably tell me himself after the battle. Suddenly, the man conjured up an arc of light, just as Noah had done to conjure his dagger of flame, which made Noah's instincts scream with all their might to get himself out of that place. If he was going up against someone with a normal bow would be dangerous enough on its own; being within range of a bow made of such a powerful Blessing was dozens of times more dangerous, especially since Noah didn't know what that bow was capable of doing, since his own dagger had a secondary ability besides just being able to cut things well. As this man's Blessing was so powerful, Noah was sure that an ordinary arrow would never be fired by it, and if he was hit by that arrow, Noah didn't know if he could sustain his own life.

But to Noah's great happiness, a new window appeared. This gave him hope, thinking that he could reverse the situation and win the fight with the help of whatever the window was saying to him, but unfortunately Noah was disappointed as soon as he read what was written on the window. This was not because what he had received was bad, on the contrary, it was a great skill, especially when considering the general goal he had, but unfortunately he felt it wouldn't be able to aid him very much in this battle.
