Jason quietly followed his father, his eyes were filled with hate when he saw this man.

When he saw this man spend the money he got from selling him Jason got disgusted.

Jason mindset has completely changed, seeing people murdered and tortured changed his vision on how to look at the world.

The words said by Don Omer meant that he can have power by eliminating the person who is suppressing him.

He only has one thought in his mind and that is to get rid of this bastard who so is his father as well.

Jason may still be weak, and scared kid but being exposed to what he has gone through, the will to survive and hunger for power is slowly changing him into a monster.

He followed his father everywhere he went, to the bar, to the local brothel, to small food stalls. He waited outside and observed his father enjoy his life with his money, yes Jason thought it is his money because he was the reason for that money to even be in his father's hands.

Due to his being small he blended into the crowd and stalked his father everywhere he went and finally, the time came for him to do what he has to do.

It is already midnight time and his father returned to their small house, he is drunk and wobbling around the room, the neighbors are already asleep.

"Hahahahaha, my precious money where are you?"

Jason's father said and went towards a mud pot, he took out a cloth pouch from inside and looked at the money inside the pouch.

"Hehehe, look how beautiful you are, my love. With you, I can get anything"

Jason's father said and put back the money in the mud pot.

"Now that I think about it what happened to that leach? Well why should I care he is probably dead or sold to some pervert from the city, at least he did something for me with his useless life"

Of course, Jason heard everything but he didn't feel anything, from what he could remember he was always treated like this, at first he would always wonder why this bastard kept him alive but he soon found out that this bastard wants to use him as a tool to earn money by any means possible.

It started with begging but begging didn't bring enough money for his daily alcohol so he finally sold Jason.

"Haaaaa, I am tired"

Jason's father yawned and lied down on the rough carpet of the house and fell asleep within a minute.

Jason slowly entered the house and looked at his father who is sleeping on the floor with cold eyes, his hate for this man is something he cannot bury, he has to release it to be free from the invisible shackles of fear he is tied up to.

Jason looked at the jar where the money is kept, he then walked towards the corner of the room where some utensils are kept, he looked around and found the thing he is looking for, a knife which had a few rusts on its spine but its edge is still sharp.

Jason's hands are shaking as he looked at the knife, his felt dizzy, his heart is beating faster and faster as several thoughts are flooding his mind.

He doesn't know if he should do it or not, one side of him says to do it and the other side is constantly telling him not to do due to fear.

He has to choose and he finally did, he picked up the knife with his shaking hands and held it tightly, he turned around and looked at his father who is sleeping soundly.

'I have to do it'

Jason is keeping only one thing in his mind and that is to kill his father.

He slowly walked towards his father and stood in front of his chest, his heart is beating rapidly and sweat is pouring down his forehead.

His father is mumbling in his sleep and the smell of alcohol is still lingering on his body.

Jason took a deep breath and looked at his father, he had no care or emotion for this man, he was even worse than a random stranger to him on the street.

Jason lifted the knife in the air and brought it down with all his energy.

He did it, the knife went straight into his father's chest and pierced his heart.

His father suddenly woke up and felt extreme pain, he suddenly coughed a mouthful of blood and looked at the big knife in his chest and two small hands holding on to its handle, he looked up with his eyes in fear of dying.

He saw his murdered, it was his own son.

"YO-"

Before he could say anything he died.

Jason froze on the spot as he saw his father's body go limp, he looked at his eyes and saw regret and horror in his eyes, he saw the blood flowing out of his wound and mouth.

He backed down after removing the knife from the chest, as he did blood splattered everywhere.

Jason went into the corner and sat down as his mind is in chaos, he saw his father's bloody face and got scared.

He looked at the bloody knife in his hand and threw it to the side, he vomited the food he ate in the old lady's small shop.

After a few minutes, later rain started to pour, this night was like the same night when his father took him to sell him away, the heavy rain, cold air, water dripping from the roof and Jason in the corner, but this time there is a dead body in front of him and that too his father's.

"No he was just a man who claimed to be my father, I don't have any family now except Derry, I have to get back to him, I made a promise"

Jason got up and looked around, he noticed the mud pot on the shelf, since he is not tall enough he made it fall and shatter, he took the bundle of money and wrapped it in plastic and ran away in the heavy rain.
