The man next to him walked forward towards the leader on his knees, took out his knife and cut off his throat.
Seeing this Jason got scared and backed off but while doing so he knocked a glass bottle which was on the corner.
As the glass bottle fell it rolled causing a sharp sound in the silent dark alley.
Don Omer and the man next to him got startled, Don Omer signaled the man in black to take a look.
Jason tried to run but his leg tripped and he fell down.
He bruised his knees, suddenly he felt someone grabbing the back of his shirt and lift him up in the air.
Jason got scared and turned his head to see it is the same man who just killed the leader.
He got scared but didn't scream, he tried to struggle out of it but couldn't, the man just carried him and took him to Don Omer.
"Just a kid?"
He asked
"Yes Boss"
"Hmm, hey kid did you see what just happened?"
Don Omer asked as he stared into Jason's eyes.
Jason didn't move his head and just looked at Don Omer, he didn't know what he should do so he decided to stay still.
"Your eyes are very rare, even though you are scared, they don't even show a hint of fear in them"
Done Omer said as he looked at Jason's eyes.
"Where do you live?"
He asked as he sat back in the chair.
"In the slums"
Jason answered
"Why are you here?"
"Trying to find something to eat for my brother"
"Oh, so you have a brother?"
"He is not my real brother, but I see him as my own"
"Hahahaha, what an interesting child, here take this"
Don Omer threw a 10 Gs coin at Jason, Jason caught it and looked at it with big eyes, he has seen a 10 Gs coin but he never held it in his hand, this 10 Ds could buy him food for a weak, it could get his father three bottles of his local beer.
"Let him go, I see great potential in him, well if he lives till then that is"
Hearing Don Omer, the man in the black suit nodded and let go of Jason.
"Ok kid, scram"
Don Omer said and got off from the chair and turned around, suddenly rain started to pour, the man in the black suit took out an umbrella out of nowhere and placed it on top of Don Omer.
He started to walk away.
"Mister wait"
Jason called.
Don Omer stopped his feet and turned around and looked at Jason who is currently standing there as the rain falls on him, completely draining him.
"Are you a powerful person?"
Jason asked as he looked into Don Omer's eyes
"Yes I am"
He answered with a smile
"The most powerful?"
Jason asked again, his voice had a sense of curiousness
"In this city? Then yes"
Don Omer said and looked at Jason's eyes
"How did you become so powerful?"
Jason asked, this time his voice had a sense of finding something
"I killed my way up"
Don Omer said with a cold voice
"Can killing people give you power?"
Jason asked with a faint voice.
"If a person is suppressing someone and not letting him grow stronger than he/she has to take action and what will be that action will depend on that person, but after taking that action he/she can never go back"
Jason just started at Don Omer.
"I decided to kill, and that's what I am doing till now"
Don Omer stopped talking and turned around and walked away.
Jason just stood there in the rain, he then remembered Derry and ran towards where Derry is.

Don Omer sat in his luxury car and looked at the alley where Jason was, he saw Jason was not there anymore.
"Branden, I think I created something really amazing, either a devil or a liberator, now it's up to him on which path he goes"
The man in the black suit, his name is Branden and he is the personal bodyguard for Don Omer.
"Boss, was it okay for you to give that coin to him, you said someone special gave that to you?"
"That kid, I was just like him. No, his desire for power is ten times more than mine, let's just say its fate, I was helped by someone when I was small and now I am helping that kid, just another cycle of fate"
Branden didn't say anything and stepped on the gas and drove away.

Back to Jason, he arrived at the alley where he left Derry, he looked around and tried to find Derry but he couldn't see Derry anywhere.
"DERRY"
"DERRY"
Jason shouted as the rain fell on the dark alley.
"Big brother I am here"
Jason suddenly heard a voice and turned around to see Derry's small head peak out of a trash container, luckily it was an empty container with no trash in it, no one knows how many days has it been since someone visited this alley to throw trash.
"You scared me"
Jason rushed towards Derry and hugged him.
"It suddenly started to rain so I hid inside, did I do something wrong?"
Derry started to tear up.
"No, you did great, you should always take care of your health ok?"
"Ok, but Big Brother, you are dnched (Derry is just a kid so he could say drenched properly) from rain"
"Don't worry about me, nothing will happen to me"
"Big Brother is strong"
Jason just smiled and nodded.
