He has to hurry up and get out of here.
He finally came in front of another entrance, he quickly walked out of it while holding onto Derry tightly, as he passed through the door he saw the huge workshop again, he walked sideways and hid behind a huge machine and peeked out.
He saw men tied up and on their knees, they weren't killed like others, he recognized some of these men. When he had entered this warehouse he had seen them working with the huge machines present here.
He saw two men in a black suit with guns patrolling near the gate that lead to the exit.
Jason carefully looked around, he saw some nuts and bolts fallen on the ground, he needed to distract those two men if he wants to escape.
He picked up some of the nuts and bolts in a handful and slowly made his way towards the entrance, luckily for him, the two men were looking outside, Jason quickly hid behind the huge doors near the entrance.
He then took a few of the bolts in his hand and aimed at the men who were on their knees and looking down with no hope.
One thing Jason had learned in the slums is that his life matters more than anyone who doesn't concern him.
He used all his force and threw the bolts at the men who are on their knees.
Jason quickly hid behind the door and waited for an opportunity.
He heard multiple screams of pain, he knew that he hit at least two to three men on their head with that many bolts.
The two men who are guarding turned around and looked at the men on their knees, they saw three of them bleeding from their heads.
They saw some nuts and bolts fallen on the ground.
"What happened?"
Both of them walked towards the men on their knees, seeing this Jason quickly made an escape while holding on to Derry tightly, as he isn't wearing anything on his legs he made little noise and quickly made an escape from the building and ran towards the side of the warehouse.
He couldn't run straight because he might get noticed by those men, he soon came in an empty dark alley.
Seeing no one is around he sighed and took a deep breath and placed down Derry.
"Brother Jason are we ok?"
Derry asked as his eyes are still teary.
"We are fine now, let's rest here for a while then get out of here, but don't make any noise ok?"
"Ok"
Derry nodded innocently.
Jason sat down for a while to catch a breath, he was tired from all the running and carrying Derry with him, even though he has gotten a little thicker these past days he is still just a 10-year-old kid who managed to escape from near death.
Suddenly he and Derry heard a scream coming from deep inside the alley, Jason and Derry got scared hearing this scream.
He hugged Derry and calmed him down.
"Stay here, I will check what is happening, don't move"
Jason said.
"Bother, don't leave"
"Don't worry Derry, it will be all right, I will come back, just stay here"
Saying this Jason left Derry and slowly walked towards the source of the scream, he couldn't run back because it would take him back to the warehouse, he has to go through this alley if he wants to escape without being caught so he has to take this risk.
He heard another scream, this time Jason recognized this voice, it was the voice of the man who was the boss in the warehouse, the same one who ordered the bad guy to feed Jason properly.
Jason paused for a second then continued towards the source of the screen again.
Soon he arrived there, he slowly peaked out from the edge of the corner wall to see what's happening.
He saw a man in a white coat sitting on a chair while a man in a black suit is standing next to him with a gun in his hand pointing at the person on the ground who is kneeling while blood flowed out of the two holes in his knees, he is the same man Jason saw inside the tent, the leader.
The man in white looked to be around in his 40s with big black mustache and beard, his hair had a little whiting. He is holding a fat cigar and took a long smoke out of it and blew it on the face of the man who is kneeling.
The leader coughed as the smoke entered his mouth and he spits out some blood.
"Did you really think you would get away after going against me in my own city"
The man in white said as he looked down at the leader and kicked his face, the leader fell on his face but the man in the black suit quickly put him back on his knees.
"Don Omer, you will regret doing this, my boss will skin you alive and fuck your daughter right in front of you. If you dare kill me"
The leader said with a smug on his face, even when death is closing in he is smiling.
"Hahahaha, do you really think that bastard cares about you, you are a delusional fool, he has many men just like you, if you die he won't even give a crap about it, your place will just get replaced by another one"
The leader glared angrily at Don Omer.
"You came into my city, kidnapped kids from the street, cut them open, sold their internal organs, trafficked young girls to other countries, do you really think I will let you die so easily"
"Even though I am a bad person myself, I truly disgust people like you who kills innocent young children for money"
"Let's see how you feel when you are treated the same way as you treated those innocent young kids, rip one of his eyes"
Don Omer said to the man beside him, the man walked forward and put on a metal claw on his finger and dug into one of the leader's eyes and ripped it out.
"Arrrrggggggggg"
"How is it, does it pain, good it should be just like that"
"Cut his tongue"
Don Omer said.
The man in black pulled out the leader's tongue and cut it off with a butterfly knife.
The leader lost his tongue and started to blabber rubbish.
Seeing this Jason was shocked, he had never seen torture so seeing it for the first time scared him.
