/ Lone_Wolf 13 Watching Movies, Broadening the Horizon.
Jason got out of his car and walked into Cyber Paradise, the internet cafe was packed with people from young teenagers to men in their 30s, people were shouting while playing games and cursing at each other, throwing insults at the opponent team.
It was good that the internet cafe was very big and separated into many sections, one part was only for gaming, and the other part was for other things.
When Jason walked in the owner of the cafe quickly rushed towards Jason, he was a thin adult man wearing glasses and had a pink mohawk hairstyle, his hands were covered with tattoos, he looked more like a gangster than an internet cafe owner.
"Brother Jason, it's been months since I last saw you"
"Look at this cafe, it has changed so much in these past months, last time I was here it was only a small shop"
"It's all because of you Brother Jason, with your help I was able to make a living without doing any violence"
"Anyways, get me some Vampire movies, I want to watch them"
"Vampire movies? I have many in the shop, I will get them for you right away"
The show owner walked away to get the Blu Ray DVDs he had on vampires, Jason stood there and watched how the people were interacting with each other, he found the atmosphere pretty interesting.
Jason started to walk around the internet cafe and saw how people were playing, some of them were using the traditional method that is with the use of keyboard and mouse, but most of them were using VR machines.
Jason waited for a while and finally saw the owner walking towards him with a bunch of Blu Ray DVDs in his hand.
"Brother Jason I have few of them right here, feel free to check all of them if you need more just ask me"
Jason nodded and took the Blu Rays and walked towards an empty chair, put on the gear and started to watch the movies.
The first movie he watched was called 'The Dark Night', it was about an ancient old vampire awakening from his slumber to find the world he knew had changed completely.
After watching the first movie, Julian got the rough idea of what a vampire was, he learned that Vampires can't walk in direct sunlight so they use a special type of magic items to protect them self from the harmful sun rays, they are thirsty for blood, he saw the vampire controlling the mind of people, running super fast, overwhelming strength, enhanced sense, a killer charm, and regeneration abilities.
The movie showed him how relatable they were to what he saw, he saw Diana had super strength and very seductive charm, he saw the ugly creature in the alley had regeneration abilities, maybe this is just a movie created by human imagination but it was so relatable to what he has seen.
He learned that Vampire folklore was thousands of years old and people would tell stories about them till this day.
He thought what if all these stories were told by the people who had seen these creatures of the dark just like him, maybe the people around that person thought that he just made up a stupid story but they were interesting concept none the less, writers take inspiration from this story and made their own spin-off.
Jason was now opened to a completely new world, it may be stupid to think like this but what he has seen and what he has gone through, anyone would have the same mindset as his.
Jason looked at
'The movie showed the main character wearing a magical ring on his finger which protected him from the sunlight, Diana was also wearing a particular ring but I have no proof that it is a magical item, but that's not the main point, if I turned into one of them how can I walk in the sun, well this might just be some bullshit and Vampires could walk in the sun with no problem.
'As for their thirst for blood I cannot justify that, I have seen how that ugly creature was drinking the blood from the corpse, the murdered victims in the new drained of blood, and Diana, she also wanted to suck me dry. But why don't I feel any thirst for blood, well when I bit her it was indeed delicious but after that, I felt nothing.'
'I have gained everything that the movie has shown, well not everything, I don't know if I have regeneration abilities or mind control and the tendency of drinking blood, well I can only find out when I try it, also I need to find where these creatures live to extract information out of them, until then lets watch the movies'
Jason started to watch the movies one after other, he found out there are even more being of the dark and supernatural, one of the main are werewolves, they are the mortal rivals of Vampires, there are also creatures such as Banshee, Succubus, Incubus, Lizardmen and many other.
He learned that there are also special humans called the hunter who protect the humankind from these supernatural creatures.
After watching five movies, Jason decided to stop, he had enough for the day.
'Well watching movies did indeed broaden my horizon but I can't still believe them blindly, I will keep an open mind and wait for a fortunate encounter with these creatures of the dark, hehehe'
Jason was feeling something big is happening in his life, he got up from his seat and walked away saying his goodbye to the shop owner.
'Let's go to Mr. Wallter and get me the weapon'
Jason sat inside his car and rode off towards Mr. Wallter's shop.
