The Old lady looked up to see who it is and when she saw Jason she was shocked.

Jason looked at the old lady's expression and looked at his body to see if anything is wrong but nothing was off, everything seemed normal to him.

"Old lady, why are you looking at me like that?"

Jason asked as he looked at the old lady just staring at him.

"How are you still alive?"

"What?"

The old lady got back to her sense and looked at Jason once again.

'How is he still alive, I swear I predicted his death, how can he escape death, that's not possible'

"Yo Old lady, I asked you something"

"Huh? No nothing, I said nothing"

"Hmm? you are acting weird today"

Jason said and walked into his apartment while holding his head, the old lady kept staring at him, she suddenly realized something different about Jason.

"He has no presence, how is that even possible?"

The old lady was going crazy right now, every being in this universe has a presence, be it a magical creature, supernatural or evil, they all had a presence and some of them could hide it but not to the full extent.

This is why the Old lady's mind was in turmoil, Jason had no presence what so ever, she wouldn't have even noticed it if she didn't use her supernatural sense on him to check him out and it too took a long time for her to figure what was going on.

'He has somehow cheated death, lost his presence. Is he even human anymore?'

The Old lady calmed herself and started to think about the possibilities that such a thing could happen but no matter what the outcome she couldn't find an answer.

"I just hope I can live in peace"

The Old lady sighed and continued making her meat skewers, she was too old now to think about the world, she just wanted to live her life in peace.

Jason entered his room, and went straight to his bed and closed his eyes and fell asleep within seconds.

Van is currently following the very thin trail of Jason which will disappear in the next few hours, he is a powerful vampire so he could still see the traces of Jason's presence, if a low ranking vampire was in his place, they wouldn't be able to locate trace that is three days old.

The trace led Van directly to Rose bar, he also noticed Diana was also here three days ago.

'They both must have met in this bar, then went to Diana's hideout'

Van looked around and finally went in, as he entered he saw humans everywhere minding their own business without the care of what the person next to him or her is doing.

Van finally lost Jason's lingering presence as it was blended by many humans, Jason was a human so his presence was blended or completely disappeared.

'Shit I am too late if only that barrier had disappeared a day before'

Van was angry, suddenly he noticed one of the service girls walks towards him and started to flirt with him, being a Vampire had its own traits, Super strength, Supersense (all 6 sense), high regeneration ability and a killer charm which attracted any species of the opposite sex.

Van took the service girl in one of the VIP rooms and fucked her while drinking her blood and making her his blood slave.

Blood Slave is personal blood supplier for the vampire which bit them, they become immune to all kinds of diseases and live as long as their master is alive, once their master dies they die as well, if their master lives forever they live forever as well, they become stronger than the average human, they come into being when a vampire drinks their blood but doesn't kill them.

Vampires are noble beings of the dark and salves are natural to them, not only humans, stronger vampires can even make a slave of other supernatural species such as Succubus, Van could easily make a Succubus his slave but they are very cunning women and always avoid Vampires as they don't want to become their slaves, same could be said to their male counterpart the Incubus.

Van was now lying on the bed where his new blood slave was massaging his leg as her eyes were filled with love and devotion to her master, suddenly Carl appeared out of nowhere inside the room.

Van's Bloodslave got scared for a second but continued her work.

"An another Bloodslave?"

Carl asked with a frown.

"Common, don't be so bitchy, she is beautiful and knows how to please her master, I couldn't let such a gem go away"

"Whatever"

Carl said grumbling.

"So did you take care of the body?"

"Yes, I buried her inside the forest, her body will be destroyed in a few days, but-"

"But?"

"You should also get a new Bloodslave from here, my new slave said there are many good products out here"

"Don't need any, I have mine back in the nest"

"Five is enough, so did you find the hunter"

Jason woke up and saw that it was already midnight, he went to sleep at noon and woke up at midnight, he noticed that his headache was gone and he felt refreshed.

"So let's recall what happened yesterday night"

Jason started to think and went back to the day he was speaking with Diana, he slowly recalled everything, how he was charmed by that woman, how he went to her house, their sex, and also their final battle, he clearly remembered how Diana's eyes, hair and teeth changed and she attacked him, he also remembered how he killed her, how she ripped the muscle of his shoulder and also the taste of her blood.

"What the fuck did I just do that night"

Jason could not believe his memories, he could still feel how addictive that blood tasted to him, he looked at his shoulder and saw that nothing had happened, he suddenly started to notice the changes in him, he could see the smallest cracks on the wall very clearly, he could see the tiny hairs on the spider's leg at the corner of the room, he could hear the heartbeat of his neighbor if he concentrated, he could even sense the tiniest movement made by the air itself.

He looked at his shoulder and saw that they were normal, he clearly remembered how Diana ripped the muscles of his shoulder but now they look the same as before, just a little more defined, he realized something and got up and rushed towards the bathroom, he removed his shirt and saw the scars on his chest was gone, he turned around and saw that the deep scars on his back also disappeared.

"Really, what the fuck has happened to me?"
