Fortunately, Lady Luck hadn't completely deserted Bonuo. Only the reindeer nearby had detected the danger; those at the back of the pack hadn't noticed and were heading straight for the nylon ropes.
Like a wild horse caught by the reins, the reindeer felt only a sharp pain in its neck, followed by a sense of restraint coming from its head.
The entangled reindeer panicked. With the thought of the “Terrifying Upright Ape” chasing from behind, it immediately tried to shake its head to break free.
