Chapter 1374: Chapter 1374: Someone's Coming! Chapter 1374: Chapter 1374: Someone's Coming! “I hope it's from Baron Lawrence or Bobby.”
“Just as long as it's not a call for Olivia.”
Thinking about the outgoing call, Enna Clark steadied herself somewhat, “It doesn't matter if you tell me now; I can't escape anyway.”
“You can't escape, but you can delay time!” the man with the hood over his head said gruffly. Although Enna couldn't see his face, she could hear the darkness in his voice, revealing his ruthlessness. “You're talking so much now just to delay time, right? I'm advising you not to waste your effort. We won't be fooled. Moreover, delaying time is useless; no one knows you got into our car, and no one will be able to find this place. If you're smart, you'll shut your mouth and stop scheming, and cooperate with us obediently. It will be less painful for you. If you're not smart, I'll have to tie you up to keep you quiet.”
The man stared at her face with a fierce look, then suddenly turned his head to give a command, “It seems you're not smart. Second Brother, grab her and tie her up! First, seal her mouth with tape! This woman is too sneaky. To avoid any accidents, we should take care of her first.”
“Got it!”
A rotund man approached her.
Enna Clark suddenly took a step back.
As soon as she moved, more people closed in from behind.
Just as the man holding the rope was about to grab her from the front, she suddenly opened her clenched fist and threw something at the man's eyes–
The man's vision went gray, and he flailed wildly, “Damn it, what is this? The woman had something in her hand!”
Enna Clark had hidden cigarette ash in her hand.
She had secretly grabbed it in the Finance Department's office, pretending to be nervous and clutching it in her fist the whole time, in case she needed to catch them off guard.
She never expected it would actually come in handy!
As the man waved his hands in front of his eyes, she swiftly kicked him in a sensitive spot.
“Ah.” The man who had been blocking his eyes let out an agonizing scream, crouching down while clutching his groin.
The others snapped out of their stupor, and the lead man with the gruff voice ordered, “Damn it, catch her!”
Enna Clark already ran to the side, pushing over the delivery boxes in front of her to block the pursuers' path.
She grabbed a small box nearby and hurled it at another person chasing her from a different direction.
“Bang!” One after another, she didn't dare stop.
But the boxes were running out, and she couldn't hold them off for much longer.
What to do?
What now?
Enna Clark was drenched in cold sweat on her forehead and back. At this critical moment, suddenly, a rumbling honk came from outside the Logistics Warehouse.
Immediately after, a high beam shined over.
The blinding light hurt her eyes, and she bit her lower lip, narrowing her eyes, not daring to stop her movements for a second.
Could it be the enemy sent more people?
Enna Clark bit her lower lip fiercely, almost drawing blood.
While she was anxiously devising a plan, she also observed the terrain.
This was the Logistics Warehouse; the main entrance was the only exit. With those five people, getting out was already difficult enough.
Now that the entrance was blocked by the car, she couldn't think of escape unless she sprouted wings!
Enna Clark took a deep breath.
But the reaction of the other people wasn't like they thought backup had arrived. Instead, it seemed like they hadn't expected it either, causing commotion.
