Chapter 1357: Chapter 1357: What foolish thing have you done? Chapter 1357: Chapter 1357: What foolish thing have you done? Enna Clark had no idea that a beautiful waitress was throwing herself at Baron Lawrence.
She had waited for more than half an hour, yet he still hadn't come down after changing clothes; seizing the moment when Olivia Lewis was rolling the dice, Enna glanced towards the door.
Adam Sinclair caught her small gesture and frowned as well, suddenly asking, “Terry, why hasn't Baron come down yet?”
“It's been half an hour already, should've been enough time to change clothes, right?”
Rupert Harris stamped out his cigarette and stood up, “I'll go check.”
No sooner had he finished speaking than the man sitting below Enna immediately said, “Maybe Young Master Lawrence is taking a shower, let's continue our game, and he will naturally come down after he's done.”
Rupert Harris glanced at him, scrutinizing.
The man turned his face away guiltily under his piercing gaze, not daring to meet his eyes, and continued to say, “Or, why not ask a waitress to check? There's no need for you to go, Terry.”
Rupert Harris was already suspicious, and by now he was eighty percent certain, “Niall, what have you done?”
“What have I done? Are you drunk, Terry? I haven't done anything,” the pale-faced man argued, “I've been right here playing Monopoly the whole time, what could I possibly have done, really.”
Adam Sinclair, hearing their argument, stood up to mediate, separating the two, “Alright.”
Then he turned his head to ask Rupert Harris, “What's the matter, Terry?”
Rupert Harris's harsh features were like cut from a knife, and although not of the popular handsome type, he exuded a distinct manliness. His gaze was as sharp as a keen blade, focusing on the pale-faced man, he said coldly, “You should ask him what he did!”
Adam Sinclair felt an immense headache.
Niall was Rupert Harris's cousin, a relative from his mother's side, so they were indeed related.
That's why he had called Niall over today.
And now, Niall had somehow managed to pick a fight with Rupert Harris–what was this all about?
Although Adam Sinclair didn't want to deal with this mess, if he really had to take sides, he would definitely stand with Rupert Harris, so he turned his head and asked the pale-faced man in a rather unfriendly tone, “Niall, what did you do to upset your brother like this?”
“I didn't do anything. How would I know what got him so angry? I've been sitting here all fine, and he suddenly got mad, asking me what I did. I want to ask him, what did I do? What can I do? Give me a hint.”
“You know exactly what you did!” Baron might not have made it over here, but it sure has something to do with his dear cousin!
Hopefully, he hasn't done anything foolish, or else…
Niall, feeling unjustly accused, was about to argue back.
Just at that moment, the door to the room was kicked open from the outside.
There was a loud bang.
Everyone's gaze was drawn to it–
The man who stepped in against the light radiated an aura as cold as Siberia, an oppressive presence so intense that it was impossible to look away.
Baron Lawrence?
“Here!”
Before Enna could come to her senses, a bag was tossed into her arms; looking down, she saw it was the sweater she had helped him pick out earlier. The sweater was neatly folded and placed inside the bag.
Before she could react, the man with a stormy expression on his handsome face strode in, grabbed the pale-faced man, lifted him from the sofa, and slammed him against the wall!
“Do you know what I hate the most?”
