Chapter 14: Advent on the Frontier

The next morning.

"Is it here………?" Arthur looked at the layout of his surroundings and his doubts deepened further.

The so called Special Ops Unit seemed to be an independent knight unit. But its headquarters was pitifully small, it was only a small courtyard in the north part of the Northern Heaven Knight's base.

The old green courtyard with its a hundred years of loneliness was quietly located in this small and desolate place. It doesn’t look like a place that can hold a unit, not to mention a place to hold the Cavalry Gunboats of a whole unit.

So the youth checked his map again, it was such a pity. Unfortunately, there were no errors in the map's instructions.

in the middle of the courtyard was a pavilion. Arthur hesitated to ring the bell.

“Oh, come on? You are late! You are late on the first day of office?” Someone cried behind the youth.

The youth looked around him and saw a tall knight in a black, bright armor. About this knight, no one can literally gave a good description of him. His appearance was just too ordinary. If he mixes with a crowd, his presence will instantaneously dessipate, He was such a person.

"The headquarters of the Special Ops Unit is here, right?" The youth Arthur asked suspiciously, "Why is it so small…… and so dirty?"

“Golden Knight Tactical Intelligence Officer Jack, working with Ellie as the team's Command Center. Not counting his boring jokes, he is the wisest fool in the unit."

"Well, that’s it." Said the black armored knight.

"Hey, Captain, you missed yourself." Said jack.

“Oh, I’m sorry.” The black armored knight said, “I am Zach. A swordsman.”

Arthur pondered for a while, "That's it?"

"That's it. " Knight Zack said. "I also have no specialty ability, I am just a bit experienced in battle that’s all."

"Is he really the captain?" Arthur secretly murmured, "This guy is not simple at all……."

“I’m sorry to interrupt your conversation,” Said Jack suddenly. "Captain, there was a movement in the border."

"Border?" Asked the youth.

“The Eastern Border.” The black armored knight said, “The unit received the commission of the Eastern Knights to annihilate a group of Hungarian Bandits recently raiding around the English Channel. Enough talk, go board the airship."

The group of people quickly entered the warehouse and a small airship quickly took off.

“Damn Hungarians……” The youth stared at the sky outside the window.

"What's your problem against the Hungarians?" Asked the captain.

"Nothing." Arthur didn't speak further.

“Your eyes don’t look like you're going to say nothing.”

“It’s a thing of the past that I can barely remember it." The youth Arthur said, "Don’t worry, it won't affect the mission."

"Anyway, the first mission is not intended for you to act. You just need to watch how the team works together. After all you are now a member of the team, and you must learn to cooperate with other members…..Well anyway, there are many opportunities and it’s good to learn slowly."

Arthur was silent.

After an hour. On the coastline.

“Captain, there are a large number of enemies ahead. There are about two hundred people.” Jack looked at the chaotic scene within the radar but easily consolidated a result.

With a loud bang, the Cavalry Gunboat with a streak of silver light headed  across the English Channel.
